Pandemic has changed the way education has taken place in Brazil, which has occurred remotely. The classes have been taught in the public network especially through lives or WhatsApp. In this paper, the way in which the training activities of the supervised internship and the Pedagogical Residency in the teaching of Physics in schools took place will be addressed. As a result, the abundant use of new information and communication technologies was verified. Resources and methodologies such as digital platforms, simulators, gamification, among others, were used by pre-service teachers during supervised internship and / or Pedagogical Residency activities. With this, pre-service teachers were able to immerse themselves in the current school reality, better understanding how teaching has occurred in this period and to propose activities that could help to improve the quality of teaching offered in basic education schools and in the recycling of in-service teachers, as well as in the motivation of students, too. Keywords: pandemic period, pedagogical residency, physics teaching, supervised internship, teacher education

In today’s modern world, globalization has completely changed the way of working. The way we live, learn, work, and even define work has changed due to new information and communication technologies—Hence, it can stated that human capital fuel up the modern economy. In reality, the information and communication technology revolution has turned intelligence into a valuable commodity. In today's economy, economic growth is based on mental intelligence rather than physical strength, and its worth is generated by recruiting knowledgeable workers and continuing to learn. Incorporating information and communication technology (ICT) into vocational and technical education and the educational system in general has a vast range of consequences on teaching and learning.

PEDAGOGICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION IN TEACHERS’ INITIAL FORMATION Abstract: This article looks at the way and the challenges of integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Physics teachers initial training. The overall objective is to investigate teacher training courses at the undergraduate level, as the knowledge related to ICT in their curriculum base, as well as understand what are the challenges for these courses provide such training quality. Our hypothesis is that the Physics teacher initial training courses are providing few moments that make it possible to question the ICT during the formation of the educator, which would not realize the importance of these resources and inherent knowledge as well as the contribution that enable the educational practice. Thus, this research is focused on the training of future Physics teachers in Basic Education in order to use ICT. Then, we focus on research in undergraduate Physics courses in five Federal Universities of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in order to analyze the educational projects of these courses and to conduct interviews with teachers trainers of these institutions. This research confirmed the need to think of a less fragmented structure training in ICT - and not only them – will be discussed in different contexts and environments in order to permeate the whole training course. Keywords: Teacher Initial Training. Physics Teaching. Information and Communication Technologies.

With the advent of the digital age also arrived the new information and communication technologies and with them mobile devices, which changed the way in which humanity communicates both day by day and in professional ways. The forms of interpersonal interaction, the forms of journalism production and the forms of access to information all changed. This text explores a project with a strong interest in the practices that occur in traditional newsrooms, related to written journalism, and the use of smartphones and tablets to produce publishable journalistic content on their digital platforms. PEMO —short Spanish counterpart to MOJO— Cafetero, in short, is a research project that aims to account of the usage practices of smartphones and tablets in the newsrooms of three traditional media outlets in the Colombian Coffee Region: La Patria from Manizales, El Diario from Pereira and La Crónica del Quindío from Armenia.

Health tourism is booming all over the world, and thermal spa tourism in Spain is a type of tourism aimed at integrating with nature, achieving sustainable development. In general, its facilities are located in areas specially protected by environmental legislation. This tourism sector attracts an increasingly wide market segment that has become more demanding and better informed and that more frequently uses the Internet to gather information. Tourists’ shopping and consumption habits are increasingly influenced by new information and communication technologies (ICTs), making these a topic of interest among academics and professionals. Website development has been shown to be an area of innovation for spa facilities, but evidence has also been found that this sector has experienced difficulty in adopting ICTs. This research sought to analyse spa websites’ usability by conducting an exploratory investigation of different websites’ contents. The results reveal that the use of new web technologies by spas is underdeveloped, although these facilities have achieved good positions in Internet search engines due to the synergistic effect of the official tourism websites. That is why most of them tell their story, detail their nature and the protection of their spaces. In this way, spas turn their websites into communication channels that convey to tourists their commitment to the environment and sustainable development.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology for the engineering of E-maintenance platforms that is based on a value-driven approach. Design/methodology/approach – The methodology assumes that a value-driven engineering approach would help foster technological innovation for maintenance management. Indeed, value-driven engineering could be easily adopted at the business level, with subsequent positive effects on the industrial applications of new information and communication technologies solutions. Findings – The methodology combines a value-driven approach with the engineering in the maintenance scope. The methodology is tested in a manufacturing case to prove its potential to support the engineering of E-maintenance solutions. In particular, the case study concerns the investment in E-maintenance solutions developed in the framework of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system originally implemented for production purposes. Originality/value – Based on literature research, the paper presents a methodology that is implemented considering three different approaches (business theories, value-driven engineering and maintenance management). The combination of these approaches is novel and overcomes the traditional view of maintenance as an issue evaluated from a cost-benefit perspective.
