This paper reports the recently published work on using the extract of fruits as natural catalysts in the formation of heterocycles. Twelve green principles are described in this review through the recent synthesis of heterocyclic compounds. These catalysts have many benefits, such as non-hazardous, clean reaction profile, easy handle, low cost, easily available, etc. The Fruit extract catalyst is one of the best options for the recyclization of organic heterocycles in the future.

Abstract: Operational HR encompasses the highly visible, day-to-day tactical operations required to keep a workforce running. This made us look for strategic approaches essential for most organisations. Be it defining the future path, determining the future plan, mission, vision, planning, objectives and goals of a particular organization. In a nutshell, we wanted to bring out the intricate relationship between HR and operational research especially considering the current dynamics of the external world. The unprecedented changes in HRM made us dig deeper on the importance of the role and applications of operations research to cope with these changes. Finally, we believed our research was complete when we presented real-world examples, and it was demonstrated to us that Operations Research approaches may assist firms in making good HR policy decisions at a low cost


Sales forecasting is an important when it comes to companies who are engaged in retailing, logistics, manufacturing, marketing and wholesaling. It allows companies to allocate resources efficiently, to estimate revenue of the sales and to plan strategies which are better for company’s future. In this paper, predicting product sales from a particular store is done in a way that produces better performance compared to any machine learning algorithms. The dataset used for this project is Big Mart Sales data of the 2013.Nowadays shopping malls and Supermarkets keep track of the sales data of the each and every individual item for predicting the future demand of the customer. It contains large amount of customer data and the item attributes. Further, the frequent patterns are detected by mining the data from the data warehouse. Then the data can be used for predicting the sales of the future with the help of several machine learning techniques (algorithms) for the companies like Big Mart. In this project, we propose a model using the Xgboost algorithm for predicting sales of companies like Big Mart and founded that it produces better performance compared to other existing models. An analysis of this model with other models in terms of their performance metrics is made in this project. Big Mart is an online marketplace where people can buy or sell or advertise your merchandise at low cost. The goal of the paper is to make Big Mart the shopping paradise for the buyers and a marketing solutions for the sellers as well. The ultimate aim is the complete satisfaction of the customers. The project “SUPERMARKET SALES PREDICTION” builds a predictive model and finds out the sales of each of the product at a particular store. The Big Mart use this model to under the properties of the products which plays a major role in increasing the sales. This can also be done on the basis hypothesis that should be done before looking at the data

These days, nanoparticles are being considered as nano-antibiotics because of their execution of antimicrobial activities towards a broad range of microbes. Nanoparticles are used in industrial products, health, food, space, and cosmetics;thus, researchers need for a green, ecofriendly, and low-cost approach to synthesize it. Green synthesis is such an approach of synthesizing NPs using microorganisms and plants, which is free of additional impurities. We used Mimusops elengi Linn. raw fruit extract in water to reduce the silver nitrate salt to produce silver NPs. The samples were characterized using various instrumental techniques. Broadband known as Surface Plasmon Resonance found near 450 nm in the absorption spectrum shows the formation of Ag NPs. NPs with average hydrodynamic diameters in the ranges 20-300 nm were detected from DLS study having negative zeta potential value (varies between - 25.8 to 15.8 mV), which suggests that as NPs surface is charged, it provides colloidal stability to the NPs in a liquid medium. FTIR study reveals that an increase in the intensity of some of the vibrational band with NP-content is due to the adsorption of some molecules on the surface of NPs. XRD pattern shows that NPs have an fcc structure. Samples were tested to have capabilities to kill both bacteria and fungi.

The issue of whether innovation and technological advancement continually bring new phenomenon remains unpredictable, especially in the financial industry. As technology and digital services continue to ingrain themselves into more aspects of lives, the financial sector has not been immuned. New technology has given way to new services and with new services comes the gradual disruption of the old. This study researched on the influence of digital marketing and digital payment on consumer purchase behaviour in Coburg, Germany. The availability of digital marketing is enabling many companies of all sizes to embrace mobile and data while adopting a ‘cloud first’ approach to redesigning their business models. This brings about the introduction of a new ‘pay-as-you-go’ business model that enables efficiency, low-cost speed to scale and creation of new, richer customer experience. This research sort to examine the impact of digital marketing on consumer purchase behaviour, assess the factors influencing consumer to patronise digital payment and examine the future of digital payment methods. In this research, primary and secondary data are utilised. The data has been analysed using descriptive and multivariate statistical methods like factor loading analysis, correlation, cross tabulation, and chi-square. From this research, it is concluded that the availability of extensive information, variety of products, level of satisfaction and level of education are the most essential factors influencing digital marketing and digital payment and this will lead to an increase in the digital payment methods with more security in the future. Also, bitcoin will not be accepted as a future digital payment method.

Hydrogen is the simplest and most abundant chemical element in our universe— it is the power source that fuels the Sun and its oxide forms the oceans that cover three quarters of our planet. This ubiquitous element could be part of our urgent quest for a cleaner, greener future. Hydrogen, in association with fuel cells, is widely considered to be pivotal to our world’s energy requirements for the twenty-first century and it could potentially redefine the future global energy economy by replacing a carbon-based fossil fuel energy economy. The principal drivers behind the sustainable hydrogen energy vision are therefore: • the urgent need for a reduction in global carbon dioxide emissions; • the improvement of urban (local) air quality; • the abiding concerns about the long-term viability of fossil fuel resources and the security of our energy supply; • the creation of a new industrial and technological energy base—a base for innovation in the science and technology of a hydrogen/fuel cell energy landscape. The ultimate realization of a hydrogen-based economy could confer enormous environmental and economic benefits, together with enhanced security of energy supply. However, the transition from a carbon-based(fossil fuel) energy system to a hydrogen-based economy involves significant scientific, technological, and socio-economic barriers. These include: • low-carbon hydrogen production from clean or renewable sources; • low-cost hydrogen storage; • low-cost fuel cells; • large-scale supporting infrastructure, and • perceived safety problems. In the present chapter we outline the basis of the growing worldwide interest in hydrogen energy and examine some of the important issues relating to the future development of hydrogen as an energy vector. As a ‘snapshot’ of international activity, we note, for example, that Japan regards the development and dissemination of fuel cells and hydrogen technologies as essential: the Ministry of Economy and Industry (METI) has set numerical targets of 5 million fuel cell vehicles and10 million kW for the total power generation by stationary fuel cells by 2020. To meet these targets, METI has allocated an annual budget of some £150 million over four years.

The chapter Perspectives on the Future of Stress Testing forecasts changes in the ability to detect atherosclerosis in the form of obstructive and non-obstructive coronary artery disease and ischemia. These will continue to include low cost and widely available exercise testing as well as embracing new technology such as mobile sensors, biomarkers, and genetic testing. Continued advancements in positron emission tomography, cardiac computed tomography, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging will create new opportunities for better definition of myocardial blood flow and prediction of prognosis. While we will continue to expand our ability to measure greater detail of aspects of cardiac structure, function and metabolism, the humanity of a clinician being at the side of the treadmill while our whole patients exercise to their individual capacity remains a valuable diagnostic, educational and bonding opportunity

<p>This Issue of the Journal of Food Research, dedicated to the IX Italian Congress on Food Chemistry, ChimAlSi 2012 (Ischia, Napoli, Italy-June 3-7), collects selected manuscripts presented at the Congress, and proposes some aspects and an in depth look of many subjects related to food, that have been the focus of the ChimAlSi 2012. The Scientific Committee, formed by Proff. Ettore Novellino, Luca Rastrelli, Alberto Ritieni, and Antonello Santini, made this event unique as it has been enriched by the participation of more than 300 delegates, including many young researchers from different Countries. On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committes, I would like to take the chance to thank here all the speakers and the partecipants, that gave their valuable contribution to the brilliant success of this scientific event. The Congress represented a challenging chance for scientists, regulators, and industry representatives, to meet and share aspects of cutting edge knowledge in the field of Food Chemistry, new research lines, and potential development opportunities to provide the market with higher quality food and nutraceuticals. The IX Italian Congress of Food Chemistry included 12 plenary lectures, 66 lectures, and 290 poster presentations. Two Workshops focused on food contaminants and on the role of food in human health, completed the program of the activities, that covered a wide variety of food related topics ranging from food contaminants and food quality to new analytical approaches, nutritional and health aspects, food integrators, medical foods, nutraceuticals. The scientific contributions were divided in four homogeneous sessions dedicated to food safety, techniques of food analysis, bioactive compounds, and nutraceuticals. These last food-derived compounds, mostly of vegetal origin, are starting to be considered the challenge for the future in the field of Food Chemistry and Nutrition, as a valid low cost, environmental friendly sources alternative to drugs as active supplements for the prevention and to support the therapy in many different health conditions.</p>
