Abstrak.  Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat algoritma dan pemrograman form Kartu Hasil Studi yang disesuaikan dengan format form Universitas Andalas. Program atau algoritma untuk pembuatan form dibuat dengan menggunakan Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Data yang diinput adalah nama mahasiswa, universitas, semester, nomor buku pokok mahasiswa, fakultas, tahun, kode mata kuliah, satuan kredit semester, nilai, bobot, indeks prestasi kumulatif, bobot kumulatif, satuan kredit semester kumulatif, maksimal satuan kredit semester boleh diambil, jumlah satuan kredit semester, jumlah bobot, tanggal, nama dosen, nomor induk pegawai dosen yang sesuai dengan form Kartu Hasil Studi mahasiswa jurusan matematika Universitas Andalas. Dalam pembuatan algoritma form Kartu Hasil Studi tersebut, dibatasi pada data mahasiswa reguler 2014 dan data dosen jurusan matematika Universitas Andalas. Pada form dibuat menu utama seperti Pengolahan Data, Tampilan dan Programmer. Pada form ini tersedia beberapa menu pilihan yang berisi tentang menu proses berfungsi untuk mengisi data mahasiwa dan data dosen secara otomatis; menu hapus berfungsi untuk menghapus data-data yang telah kita input; menu print berfungsi untuk mencetak hasil dari data-data yang telah di input. Menu keluar berfungsi untuk keluar dari form.Kata Kunci: Algoritma dan Pemrograman, Micrososft Visual Basic 6.0, form Kartu Hasil Studi Abstract. This study aims to create algorithms and programming Study Result Card form adapted to the form format Andalas University. Program or algorithm to produce form created using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Inputted data is the name of the student, university, semester, the number of books the subject of students, faculty, year, course code, semester credit units, value, weight, grade point average, weighted cumulative, semester credit units cumulative, maximum semester credit units may be loaded, the number of semester credit units, the amount of weight, date, name of the lecturer, lecturer personal identification number that corresponds to the form Card Study Results students majoring in mathematics Andalas University. In the manufacture of algorithms form the Study Result Card, limited to data the regular student 2014 and data lecturer of majoring in mathematics Andalas University. On the main menu form is created as Data Processing, Display and Programmer. In this form is available several menu options on the menu that contains the process serves to fill the data students and faculty the data automatically; menu delete function to delete the data that we have input; menu print function to print the results of the data that has been input. Objective: This study compared National Board of Chiropractic Examiners part I test scores between students who did and did not serve as tutors on the subject matter. Methods: Students who had a prior grade point average of 3.45 or above on a 4.0 scale just before taking part I of the board exams were eligible to participate. A 2-sample t-test was used to ascertain the difference in the mean scores on part I between the tutor group (n = 28) and nontutor (n = 29) group. Results: Scores were higher in all subjects for the tutor group compared to the nontutor group and the differences were statistically significant (p < .01) with large effect sizes. Conclusion: The tutors in this study performed better on part I of the board examination compared to nontutors, suggesting that tutoring results in an academic benefit for tutors themselves.

The subject of the research is programming the problem of designing a port station and calculating its key parameters. The relevance of the research topic is related to the need to automate a complex of complex calculations that can be performed more quickly and accurately using a software product. Methods dynamic and linear programming, syntax and tools of the Visual Basic 6.0 programming language, analytical, marketing, and project methods, materials of general access and official sites, own research used. The software product for automating the calculation of technical and operational parameters of the port station is described. The results of the calculation can be applied when constructing a continuous schedule for the operation of a transport hub, a diagram of daily wagon flows in the station. Using the program, you can determine the number and length of tracks for receiving, sending and sorting trains by station. The software product can be useful both in the educational process of secondary and higher education, and in practical business when making business decisions on the organization of the work of both the port station and the transport hub as a whole.

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat form Kartu Perubahan Rencana Studi (KPRS) serta algoritma form KPRS tersebut yang disesuaikan dengan format form Universitas Andalas. Sering terjadinya keterlambatan penerimaan dan adanya kesalahan-kesalahan data pada Kartu Rencana Studi (KPRS) dari Pusat Komputer (PUSKOM) Universitas Andalas, menyebabkan proses akademik jurusan Matematika berjalan kurang lancar. Sementara bagi mahasiswa yang akan mengurus kesalahan-kesalahan tersebut, sering mengalami kesulitan. Oleh karena itu KPRS seorang mahasiswa perlu didata dan disusun sedemikian rupa oleh jurusan Matematika, agar proses akademik dijurusan Matematika dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Program atau algoritma untuk pembuatan form dibuat dengan menggunakan Visual Basic 6.0. Data yang diinput seperti No.BP mahasiswa dan nama dosen pembimbing dalam pembuatan algoritma form KPRS tersebut, dibatasi pada data mahasiswa Non Reguler 2005 dan data dosen jurusan matematika Universitas Andalas. Pada  form dibuat menu utama seperti Pengolahan Data, Tampilan dan Programmer. Menu pilihan dapat dipilih dari menu utama dan diklik untuk menampilkan form lainnya. Kata Kunci: Algoritma dan Program Visual Basic 6.0, Kartu Perubahan Rencana Studi (KPRS)  The aim of this study is to create the form of study change planning card (KPRS) and algorithm of KPRS form which adapted from templete of Universitas Andalas form. The frequent occurrence of delays in the receipt and the errors of data on Study Plan Card (KPRS) of the Computer Center (PUSKOM) Andalas University, Department of Mathematics led to the academic process runs less smoothly. As for the students who will take care of these errors, often have difficulty. Therefore KPRS a student needs to be recorded and compiled in such a way by the Department of Mathematics, Academic Honors in Mathematics that process can run smoothly. input data for the form is student ID and lecturer name . The scope of data is Non-reguler student 2005 and math lecturer of Andalas University. There is main menu that have three sub menu for processing, displaying and programming the data. This study explored the impact of the English Advanced Placement (AP) program on college success among rural Appalachian students attending four private colleges in central and eastern Kentucky: Alice Lloyd College, Georgetown College, Lindsey Wilson College, and University of the Cumberlands. A Pearson Product-Moment Correlation r and an independent-samples t-test were conducted. With respect to rural Appalachian students, statistical analyses revealed that the English ACT score is a better predictor of first-semester college grade point average than the English AP score. Analyses also revealed no statistically significant difference between first-semester college GPAs of rural Appalachian students with English AP credit and rural Appalachian students without AP credit. The study results are helpful for students, parents, administrators, and policymakers evaluating the English AP program at local high schools and colleges.

MA. Al-Marzukiyah is an Islamic high school parallel to senior high school. In the process of payment contributions education development, middle exam and final exam, a lot of data involved where all the data still be constructed manually. The research duty end of this is to make a design of the program payment administration based visual basic to be applied to MA. Al-Marzukiyah as a means of data processing and change manual system to a computerized system, where an instrument used to design application named ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), LRS (Logical Relation Diagram) and Flowchart. This application made by using several software that is Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as software editor, Microsoft Access 2013 as a database and IcoFx 2 as symbol editor. Based program visual basic made this a strength in speed and the accuracy of in the process of data processing payment transaction, to simplify officers in data processing. This program also simplify performance in the process of reporting transaction data.

The author has conducted research at CV.BDR in order to know and departure information systemrental fleet in progress and further develop a system that is running in order to achieve a more optimallevel. In this study the author uses Visual Basic 6.0 programming language for programming. Fromthe data collected, then the writer uses the method of processing the results of laboratory research data computers. From the results of this study designed a rental application and departure of ships that can help job employees, where the data is done in the design of the development of the information generated from the old system and there is a way of working of the system itself by means of computeruse as a tool and replace the software that used in data processing. It is hoped that the authorsdesigned a new system could replace the old system in the form of a manual system, in order to achieve the level of effectiveness and higher efficiency. So that the design could be beneficial to CV.BDR inthe data processing to obtain rental information and a more accurate vessel departure and may assistin decision making.

And teachers and employees 31 people. To improve human resources especially in the field of education, SD Negeri 16 Bumi Ayu has some routines one of which is the processing of employee data is done every semesterThe purpose of this research is to create a Data Processing Information Systems Officer On 16 SDN Bumi Ayu Using Visual Basic 6.0 programming language, so as to assist in data processing at SDN 16 Bumi Ayu. Where the research was conducted at the State Elementary School 16 Bumi Ayu is located at Jalan Raya Bumi Ayu. The timing of this research was conducted on 26 February to dengn March 26, 2016. In this study, data were collected by using observation, interviews, and literature. From the results of this study show that the presence of Employee Data Processing Information Systems using the programming language Visual Basic 6.0, can, provide significant benefits for the school

AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi meningkat sangat pesat, penggunaan komputer dan sistem-sistemnya sudah menjadi kebutuhan yang utama dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja suatu perusahaan, tak terkecuali perusahaan asuransi mobil . Permintaan akan asuransi mobil yang semakin besar dikarenakan konsumen sudah jeli dalam memanajemen risikonya berdampak pada banyaknya transaksi yang terjadi pada perusahaan asuransi mobil sehingga menuntut para perusahaan untuk tetap menstabilkan keakuratan data. Maka dari itu diperlukan pengelolaan basis data yang diterapkan dalam sebuah aplikasi yang dirancang dengan sistem yang terkomputerisasi berbasis desktop yaitu Visual Basic 6.0 dan dengan pendekatan metode waterfall diharapkan dapat membantu mengoptimalkan pengolahan data yang selama ini masih dilakukan dengan cara konvensional. Fasilitias yang diberikan kepada para pengguna aplikasi ini dengan memberikan akses level terhadap para pengguna aplikasi yang memiliki tujuan dalam peningkatan profesionalisme kerja dan kerahasiaan data transaksi dalam perusahaan. Kata Kunci : Asuransi Mobil, Aplikasi Desktop, Waterfall AbstractThe development of technology is rapidly increasing, the use of a computer and its systems has become a major requirement in order to improve the performance of a company, not to mention the car insurance company. Demand for car insurance is greater because consumers are already cautious in managing the risks impacting on the number of transactions that occur on a car insurance company that requires the company to stay stabilize the accuracy of the data. Thus the necessary data bases implemented in an application that is designed with a computerized system based desktop is Visual Basic 6.0 and with waterfall method that can expected to help optimize the data processing which is still done in a conventional manner. This study aimed to identify the kinds of multiple intelligence common among the College of Education students at Dammam University. The study sample consisted of (201) students specialized in Mathematics, Physics ,Computer Science, English and Kindergarten and the preparatory year of scientific and literary streams. Mackenzie Inventory for Multiple Intelligence (Mackenzie, 1999) was used, after confirming its validity and reliability. The study results indicated an acceptable ratio of multiple intelligence communality among the students of the College of Education at Jubail/University of Dammam regarding the communality of multiple intelligence among them. The most common kind of intelligence was intrapersonal intelligence, while the least common was musical intelligence. The communality level ratio of mathematical-logical intelligence, visual intelligence, linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence (social) and bodily- kinesthetic intelligence were approximate. There was a significant difference attributed to interaction among students’ multiple intelligence, specialization, scholastic year and Grade Point Average (GPA).
