This article describes how a theory of musical intelligence can be applied to the teaching of music whereby musical learning is viewed as a form of problem-solving. We first introduce basic concepts and then describe the steps in a problem-solving cycle for musical learning. In particular, these steps involve recognizing the existence of a problem, defining the problem, allocating resources to the problem, mentally representing the problem, formulating a strategy to solve the problem, monitoring problem-solving, and evaluating the solution after one is done. Then, we discuss the application of these steps to analytical, creative, practical, and wisdom-based learning and performance. Finally, we draw some conclusions.

Cognitive processes related to children involved in music are directly related to other cognitive processes in the brain because music is known to directly or indirectly affect many mental processes, but we still don't have evidence of how and in which way this process takes place. Since the paper deals with influence of musically gifted students on the development of language competencies, in the theoretical elaboration of the paper we will try to analyze and compare musical intelligence in relation to linguistic intelligence. The empirical part of the paper will present the results of research on the process of mastering language competencies among students going to gymnasium who are musically gifted and attend music education in relation to other students.

Musical intelligence is musical intelligence which is characterized by a person's ability in the field of music, both sensitivity and mastery of tones, rhythms, rhythm patterns, instruments, and musical expressions, so that a person can play musical instruments or sing songs. This study aims to analyze the musical intelligence of early childhood with angklung musical instruments in Hidayatullah Islamic Kindergarten Semarang. The benefit of this research is knowing how to apply the angklung musical instrument correctly so that it can develop children's musical intelligence. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection methods, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been done that the activity of playing angklung musical instruments can play an active role in stimulating children's musical intelligence. This can be seen when playing angklung musical instruments, children have skills in playing angklung musical instruments, the ability to adjust the tempo, adjust the tone, adjust the rhythm/rhythm, and the ability to sing short songs with the right rhythm. The results of the study showed that the musical intelligence of children in group B of Hidayatullah Islamic Kindergarten Semarang through playing the angklung musical instrument developed as expected.

The background of this study is mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students in agricultural areas are still low because they are less motivated to learn mathematics, so that is has an impact on their low learning outcomes. This study aims to find the relationship between musical intelligence and the enhancement of mathematical connection ability by applying Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect for increasing students’ motivation to learn mathematics. This study used a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design in grade 7 students at SMPN Bojongsoang 1, Kabupaten Bandung. The instruments used were the test of mathematical connection ability, musical intelligence questionnaire, and observation sheets. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in mathematical connection ability of students who received Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect learning with students who received direct learning; (2) musical intelligence has a positive impact on the enhancement of students' mathematical connection ability; and (3) students have a positive attitude towards learning with application of Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect, and more motivated to learn mathematics. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between musical intelligence and the enhancement of mathematical connection ability, and students are more motivated to learn mathematics. Implication of this research for future research and learning practice is that students' mathematical connection ability can be explored and improved in various ways, one of which is by applying Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect in mathematics learning, and can be influenced by many things, one of them is musical intelligence. Therefore, in future research, it would be recommended to study the relationship between musical intelligence and the enhancement of other mathematical abilities using Ethnomathematics and the Mozart Effect.

The bond between England and the UAE date back to over 220 years ago. This article explored the interference of Arabic prepositions in the English used in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and their occurrences in light of gender and level of education, two important social variables related to linguistic behavior. To do so, participants translated 20 sentences in Arabic into English as well as filled in 30 gaps in sentences in English with the missing prepositions. We also experimented how musical intelligence improved the Emiratis’ performance regarding prepositions. An experiment was carried out to verify if participants from the experimental group, who received training on prepositions through music, obtained better results compared to the control group, who received training through a more traditional way (by listening to the instructor and repeating).

The purpose this research is to describe Arabic learning based on linguistic intelligence, use of methods on kinesthetic intelligence, and use media on visual and musical intelligence in learning Arabic in "Markaz Arabiyah" course institute in the I'dad and Syarqi awal programs. This research apply a qualitatif design using case study methods. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations and documentation. Then the data analysis technique in this study used the concept of Miles and Huberman who stated that activities in the analysis include data reduction, data display and data verification.  The results of this study indicate that: (1) learning Arabic at the Pare Kediri Arabiyah Markaz Course Institute based on linguistic intelligence is  speaking, debate, developing vocabulary, istima ’, telling stories,  brainstorming, weekly speaking, weekly speeches, compulsory boarding speeches, daily expressions, weekly brainstorming, vocabulary development and language improvement. (2) demonstration as a method of learning Arabic has been used in learning Muhadatsah on the map chapter, playing eat bulaga, playing puppets, on extracurricular activities in dhomir material. (3) pictures and music become a learning media that is suitable for students who have visual intelligence and musical. The media image is used during ta'birat learning, speaking extracurricular activities, eat bulaga games in ta’birat learning and in the drama liqa 'usbu'. While music is used as a learning medium in speaking learning in the syarqi awal program and joint singing activities when liqa'usbu '.
