The background of this research is the process of learning social studies teacher-centered and teacher using the lecture method, so that students are less motivated in the learning process, so that students are less vigorously and actively ask in the delivery of learning materials. Efforts to fix the problem do action research, this study aims to improve the skills of teachers and student activities so as to improve learning outcomes IPS graders of SDN 004 VA Bagan Besar using cooperative learning model type STAD. The subjects were students of class VA SDN 004 Bagan Besar Dumai totaling 25 students consisting of male students and female students 11 students 14 students. The data used in this study are the activities of teachers and students and learning outcomes IPS. The results of this study indicate that although: (a) the activities of teachers obtain a score of 32 (61.54%) with enough categories, the first cycle II meeting given a score of 38 (73.01%) in both categories. In the second cycle meeting I obtained a score of 50 (96.15%) with a very good category, and the second cycle II meeting obtained a score of 51 (98.08%) with a very good category. Besides the student activity also increased, in the first cycle of meetings I obtain a score of 20 (62.5%) with enough categories, the first cycle II meeting obtain a score of 23 (68.75%) in both categories. In the second cycle meeting I obtained a score of 28 (87.5%) with a very good category, and the second cycle II meeting obtain a score of 30 (93.75%) with a very good category; and (b) the results of students in each cycle has increased, on the basis of the results of social studies scores students get low category with an average value of 48.8. In the first cycle obtain sufficient category with an average value of 56.92. And the second cycle obtain both categories with an average value of 73.84.

The background of this study is caused by the learning process is still centered on the teacher with the dominant use of lecture method, so that students are less motivated in the learning process, students are less enthusiastic and not actively asked in the delivery of learning materials. This study aims to improve teacher skills and student activities so as to improve learning outcomes PAI students class VA SDN 015 Buluh Kasap Dumai Timur using STAD type cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, this research was conducted in April 2014, the subject of this research is the students of VA SDN 015 Buluh Kasap Dumai Timur class with 25 people consist of male students 11 Persons and female students 14 Persons. Measuring tools used are teacher activity, student activity, learning outcomes, and mastery learning. The results showed that the average of teacher activity in the first cycle was 70.92% (Good). In the second cycle is 70.92% (Good). In the second cycle is 79.48% (Good). The average learning outcome in the first cycle was 56.92% (Enough). In the second cycle is 73.84% (good). Based on the results of the study can be collected that STAD type cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes of PAI in students.

The low value of students caused by wrong way teachers teach. Students tend to get bored inthe following subjects in school, because teachers who dominated the peroses learning. Thisresulted in students feel compelled to follow the lessons. This study aims to improve studentlearning outcomes in social studies class V SDN 007 Purnama Kota Dumai. Starting onJanuary 4 until January 12, 2012. The research was conducted on students of class V,totaling 26 people, 15 men, 11 women. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycleconsisting of two meetings. To find out the data of student learning outcomes in learningimplementation using throwing snowball method is to use a written test. As for knowing theactivities of teachers and students are using the observation sheet. The results of thediscussion stated that the activity of students in the first cycle of meeting I just 45.1% lesscategory, while the second meeting of the first cycle of student activity reached 59.2% are stillin the category of less, the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 68.7% still includethe category lacking in cycle II meeting II student activity rose to 86.9 good category. Andlearning outcomes in the first cycle of the first meeting in 1280 with an average of 50 includethe category less, learning outcomes in the first cycle II reached the number of meetings in1850 with an average value of 71.15 include the category enough. In the second cycle ofmeeting the learning outcomes of 2095 amounted to an average of 80.3 including goodcategory. In the second cycle II meeting in 2116 rose an average value of 81.38 bothcategories thus be seen that by throwing a snowball learning model can improve studentlearning outcomes in social studies learning class V SDN 007 Purnama Kota Dumai.

Research on the use of STAD type cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics in Class VI.A SD Negeri 022 Langsat Estuary has been held in March to April 2015 at SD Negeri 022 Muara Langsat Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The study was conducted on 22 students consisting of 14 male students and 8 female students. This classroom action research is conducted in 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II, where every action is observed through student activity observation and teacher activity observation sheet. From the research that has been carried out the results obtained that is on the cycle I average value obtained 63.2 and cycle II average score 83.6, the number of students who achieve success increased from the first cycle of 15 students or 68.18%, to be 20 students or 90.90% in cycle II. Increased student learning outcomes in line with the increase in student activity at the time of learning took place with 114 or 51.81% in cycles I and 190 or 83.36% in cycle II.

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes IPS. It is characterized by the acquisition of the average value of social studies students at 59.10 with the percentage of students learning completeness amounted to 50.00% from 20 students. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of strategies IPS Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This study was conducted in 010 primary schools Silikuan Ukui Hulu subdistrict, with research subjects fifth grade students with a number of 20 students. This study was conducted by two cycles. The data used in this study are the activities of teachers, student activities, and learning outcomes are collected using the observation technique teacher and student activities and written tests, while the analytical techniques used in this research is descriptive analysis. The study states that the acquisition of the activities of teachers and students and learning outcomes in each cycle has increased. This is supported by: (1) the percentage of activity the teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting by 45%, in the first cycle of meetings II percentage teacher activity by 52%, the percentage of teacher activity in the second cycle of the first meeting by 65%, the percentage of teacher activity in the second cycle meeting II by 75%; (2) the percentage of student activity in the first cycle of the first meeting by 49%, in the first cycle of meetings II percentage of student activity by 60%, the percentage of the activity of students in the second cycle the first meeting by 63%, the percentage of student activity on the second cycle of meeting II by 79% ; (3) learning outcomes in basic score of 59,10.Dan which reached KKM 65 only 10 students or (50%). The first cycle of the average value obtained by the students reached 63.6. Students who achieve KKM there are 13 students or 65 (65%). Cycle II average value obtained students achieve value above 67 means the KKM. Students who reached the last 16 students or (80%).

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of Social Sciences fourth grade students of Public Primary School 003 Sukajadi with a total of 27 students, consisting of 15 male students and 12 female students. This study uses classroom action research with important stages such as planning, implementation, practice, and reflection. The results of this study show, judging by the basic score, the average value of students is 64.37, with students completing 13 people or 48.14%. after the first cycle, the average value of students has increased to 76.45 while students who completed it became 19 people or 70.3%. while the second cycle, the average value increased to 80.39 with students completing 23 people or 85.18%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Social Sciences in fourth grade students of Public Primary School 003 Sukajadi.

ABSTRAK: Masalah pokok penelitian ini adalah apakah penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick pada mata pelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi aktivitas ekonomi dan potensi sumber daya alam di kelas IV SDN 8 Tongkuno Kabupaten Muna? Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi aktivitas ekonomi dan potensi sumber daya alam melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas IV SDN 8 Tongkuno Kabupaten Muna. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SDN 8 Tongkuno Kabupaten Muna pada semester genap Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 dengan jumlah siswa 23 orang, yang terdiri dari 10 orang laki-laki  dan 13 orang perempuan. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar untuk melihat keberhasilan belajar siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran Talking Stick,  lembar observasi untuk guru dan siswa untuk melihat kondisi pelaksanaan tindakan. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan evaluasi, dan (4) refleksi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa. Jenis data  dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif  adalah hasil belajar siswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, dan data kualitatif diambil dari hasil  observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa. Data hasil penelitian pada siklus I siswa tuntas berjumlah 14 siswa dengan persentase 60,9% dan siswa tidak tuntas berjumlah 9 siswa dengan persentase 39,1% dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 70,2. Keberhasilan aktivitas mengajar guru pertemuan pertama sebesar 63,64% dan pertemuan kedua sebesar 72,73%. Data hasil penelitian pada siklus II siswa tuntas berjumlah 20 siswa dengan persentase 87% dan siswa tidak tuntas berjumlah 3 siswa dengan persentase 13% dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 81. Keberhasilan aktivitas mengajar guru pertemuan pertama sebesar 90,91% dan pertemuan kedua sebesar 100%. Kata Kunci: Model, Hasil Belajar, Talking Stick ABSTRACT: The main problem of this research is whether the use of the Talking Stick type cooperative learning model in social studies subjects can improve student learning outcomes on economic activity material and natural resource potential in class IV SDN 8 Tongkuno Muna Regency? The research objective is to improve student learning outcomes on economic activity material and natural resource potential through the use of a Talking Stick type cooperative learning model in social studies subjects in class IV SDN 8 Tongkuno Muna Regency. This research was conducted in class IV SDN 8 Tongkuno Muna Regency in the even semester of the 2018/2019 Academic Year with a total of 23 students, consisting of 10 men and 13 women. The data of this study were obtained from the learning achievement test to see the success of student learning after the application of the Talking Stick learning model, observation sheets for teachers and students to see the conditions of action implementation. The procedure of this research consists of: (1) planning, (2) implementing actions, (3) observation and evaluation, and (4) reflection. Data sources of this research are teachers and students. The type of data in this study is quantitative data is the learning outcomes of students taken using learning outcomes tests, and qualitative data taken from observations of teacher activities and student activities. The results of research in the first cycle of students complete 14 students with a percentage of 60.9% and 9 students who did not complete the number of students with a percentage of 39.1% with an average value of 70.2 students. The success of the teaching activities of the first meeting teachers was 63.64% and the second meeting was 72.73%. The results of the research in the second cycle of students completed 20 students with a percentage of 87% and students who did not complete numbered 3 students with a percentage of 13% with an average value of students 81. This study aimed to improve learning activities and learning outcomes of students in class X MIA 1 of Senior High School (SMAN) 8 Bengkulu on the subject of chemical bonds through the application of Auditory, Intellectualy, and Repetition (AIR) learning models by using learning media with lottery card. This study is a classroom action research consisting of three cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, planning, action, observation and reflection. In collection of data was done by non-test and test methods, teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets and post-test. The data was processed by using simple quantitative data analysis techniques, the total value of each student, the average value, the percentage of absorptive power, learning completeness and the average observation score.The results of the study in the 2018/2019 school year showed that the application of the Auditory Intellectualy Repitition learning model using learning media with lottery  cards in class X MIA 1 of SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu could improve teacher activities, student activities and student chemistry learning outcomes. This can be seen from the average score of teacher activities in the first cycle to the third cycle in a row : 23, 27.5 and 31.5. Student activity also showed improvement in each cycle. The average score of student activity in cycle I to cycle III was sequentially 20, 25 29.5. Learning outcomes also increase in each cycle. This can be seen from the average value of the test results in each cycle, in the first cycle of 61.82, in the second cycle of 67.88, in the third cycle of 79.09. Classical absorption in cycle I, cycle II, cycle III are 61.82%, 67.88%, 79.09%, with the percentage of completeness learning in each cycle of 42%, 73%, and 87.8 %.

This research is a classroom action research which aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Think-Pair-Share type of cooperative learning model. The research subjects were 25 tenth grade students who consisted of 9 male students and 16 female students. The instruments used were observation sheets, response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. Data collection techniques in this study were information on student activities, implementation of actions, and students’ learning outcomes. Data on the observations of student activities and response questionnaires will be analyzed qualitatively, whereas data on students’ learning outcomes will be analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics. The results of this study showed that the application of the cooperative learning model with Think-Pair-Share model can improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes.

<p><em>The purpose of this research is to improve mastery of learning. One of the approaches used in the learning process is a thematic approach. This research uses classroom action research (PTK). The techniques used were data collection techniques using: (1) observation sheets (teachers and students), (2) test questions then analyzed using a percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that (1) the teacher activity in the first cycle with an average score of 2.91 in the sufficient category and in the second cycle the average score of 4.52 was in the very good category (2) the student activity in the first cycle with an average value of 2.86 was in the sufficient category and in the second cycle got an average value of 4.42 in the very good category. While student learning outcomes in the first cycle with a percentage value of 60.3%, and in the second cycle with a percentage value of 86.7%. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that with a thematic approach to the theme of Clean and Healthy Living can improve student learning outcomes in the class of SDN Kedungoleng 06.</em></p>

The purpose of this study was to improve the social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Palembang by applying the Scramble learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this study were class V.B SD Negeri 2 Palembang, with a total of 29 students, 16 male students and 13 female students. This research was conducted in several stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques using tests, observation and documentation. This research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes and student activeness by applying the Scramble learning model. The improvement of student learning outcomes in cycle I 21 students (72.41%), cycle II 23 students (79.31%), cycle III (96.55%). While the results of observations of student learning activities increased from the first cycle of meeting 1 by 65.08%, meeting 2 65.51%, cycle II meeting 1 66.38% and meeting 2 increasing to 70.69%, and meeting III meeting 1 of 77.59% and meeting 2 increased to 84.05%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Scramble learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Palembang.Keywords: learning outcomes, Scramble learning model, social science.
