This research and development aims to develop and test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of comic-based modules in mathematics in elementary schools. The research method used is R&D with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation and 5) evaluation ). Product validity was obtained from expert testing with expert validation instruments. The practicality of the product in the form of comic media was obtained through limited trials with a questionnaire instrument. The effectiveness is obtained through one class trial with one group pretest-posttest design then the results are tested using Paired SamplesvT Test. The result of this research is that the comic-based media module generally improves the ability to solve mathematical problems in the classroom material of five elementary school students. Learning media are declared valid based on the test of media experts, material experts and learning experts. Learning media are declared practical based on the results of the questionnaire responses of teachers and students. Learning media are declared effective based on the results of students' Paired SamplesvT Test pretest-posttest.

Mathematical representation ability is the ability of students in issuing ideas and ideas in solving mathematical problems. Thepurpose of this study is to determine the profile of mathematical representation ability of elementary school students in NorthSumedang District. The research method used is survey method. The survey method aims to collect data from a number of unitsor individuals at the same time. The research subjects were elementary school students with a total of 145 students who werestudents from six elementary schools in North Sumedang District. The data collected in this study was obtained from a test ofmathematical representation ability in solving mathematical problems in elementary schools. The questions made are inaccordance with mathematical representation indicators. Based on the results of data analysis from 145 students, students'verbal representation abilities reached 30.3% with very low categories, the ability of students' symbolic representation reached25.2% with very low categories, and students' visual representation abilities reached 19.3% with very low. Overall students'mathematical representation ability reaches 24.9% in the very low category. From the results of data analysis it can beconcluded that the mathematical representation ability of elementary school students in North Sumedang District is still verylow.

Abstract: Developing a Culture-Based Integrated Learning Model to ImproveStudents’ Appreciation of Local Culture. This study aims to develop a social studylearning model for elementary school students that can help them master subjectmatters as an effort to improve their appreciation of local culture, using an R & Dapproach consisting of three steps: preliminary study, model development andmodel validation. The subjects were teachers and students of elementary schools inBengkulu Province, Sumatra. The results show that the Culture-Based IntegratedLearning Model (CBILM) is an appropriate learning model to help students mastersubject matters as an effort to improve their appreciation of local culture. The implementation of the newest curriculum (Curriculum 2013) leads some elementary schools to finally exclude English from the schools subjects. However, some elementary schools that keep teaching English as a subject still cannot provide appropriate English teaching media, especially to teach vocabulary. In this study, the researchers aimed to know the problems faced by the English teacher and the fourth grade students of SD N 2 Sekaran in the vocabulary teaching and learning, and also to know how to develop teaching media of Kangaroo Smart Frieze. The Research and Development (R & D) approach was adopted by conducting the preliminary survey, designing and developing the prototype of the product, conducting limited testing and product validation, having a revision process and describing the research result. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Sekaran in the academic year of 2013/2014. The instruments used were questionnaires, interview guideline and test. According to the interview to the English teacher and students, it can be concluded that the vocabulary teaching media of Kangaroo Smart frieze needs to be developed with the focus on the quality of the media and also the variety of games played. The development of Kangaroo Smart Frieze was started by observing and interviewing the English teacher and students. After doing that, the process was continued by planning the data collecting instrument of vocabulary teaching media. The main consideration was based on the English curriculum (syllabus) of the fourth grade students of elementary school and also some related theories. Moreover, the data collecting instrument was arranged into two main parts which included the need analysis of the students and English teacher. The further step was designing the prototype. The development process was then followed by other steps; product validation, try-out (limited testing) and revision of Kangaroo Smart Frieze. The results of the students’ test by using Kangaroo Smart Frieze as the vocabulary teaching media, and also the assessment from the experts were very good. Therefore, it could be concluded that Kangaroo Smart Frieze has a good prospect to be used in the vocabulary teaching and learning process. As suggestion, the teachers should always try to choose appropriate vocabulary teaching media, and the future researchers should conduct better research and development to develop better vocabulary teaching media for elementary school students.

This study aims to determine the profile of mathematical representation ability of elementary school students in South Sumedang District. The research method used is the survey method. The population chosen is the elementary school in South Sumedang District. The sample was chosen randomly, namely six grade V elementary schools in South Sumedang District with a total of 130 students. Based on the results of research on the representation ability of elementary school students in South Sumedang Subdistrict, only 34.6% included the very low category. When viewed per aspect, the verbal representation aspect was 41.2% in the very low category, the symbol representation aspect was 28.1% in the very low category, and in the visual representation aspect it was 34.6% in the very low category.

<em>This article aims to create new innovations in learning media so that learning in elementary schools can run effectively and improve the mastery of English vocabulary. The research method used is literature study. The research method used is a review study of books, literature, notes, and reports relating to the problem being solved. Literature sources in this study were obtained from books, journals, and research results. This research includes the process of identifying theories systematically, finding literature, and analyzing documents that contain information related to the research topic. The result of this study is learning media that can be applied by teachers to achieve learning objectives effectively and improve the mastery of English vocabulary.</em>

The purpose of this study was to describe the classification of students' reasoning abilities in solving mathematical problems in elementary schools. The focus of this study is the classification of students' reasoning abilities in solving mathematical problems in the elementary schools of the city of Semarang. This study uses a qualitative approach. The Research subject is elementary school students at Tambakrejo Elementary School Semarang. Data is taken using tests. Based on data analysis, the reasoning classification is as follows: 36.25% understand the meaning in low categories, 37.5% think logically in low categories, 31.1% understand negative examples in low categories, 17.05% think deductions in very low category, 18.15% think systematically in very low categories, 31.65% think consistently in low category, 34.85% make excuses and determine strategies in low category, 49.85% determine method in low category, and 24.3% draw conclusions in low category. Thus the reasoning ability of students is low, students have not been able to think logically to make connections between empirical facts and the problems faced so they are not able to draw conclusions, students have not been able to do the thinking process to make arguments so that new statements are based on facts, it is necessary to develop learning models to improve mathematical reasoning of elementary school students

AbstrakPengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis STREAM (Sains, Teknologi, Religi, Teknik, Seni dan Matematika) dengan konteks materi gerhana matahari cincin untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan edukasi astronomi ini sebagai upaya peningkatan kesadaran keamanan pengamatan dalam mengamati peristiwa gerhana matahari cincin bagi siswa sekolah dasar dengan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran STREAM. Kegiatan ini dimaksudkan sebagai wahana edukasi astronomi dalam menanamkan sebuah pemahaman kesadaran keamanan kepada siswa SD dalam mengamati peristiwa gerhana matahari disalah satu sekolah dasar kota Cirebon dan Bandung. Melalui kegiatan ini diharpkan guru – guru dan siswa dapat lebih eksplorasi kreatfitas pengajaranya, menyenangi, siap berpartsipasi dalam pendidikan astronomi bagi anak sedari dini di pembelajaran IPA menjadi menyenangkan dalam memahami konten fisika mengenai astronomi. Menjelang akhir tahun nanti, tepatnya pada tanggal 26 Desember 2019, masyarakat Indonesia akan mendapat kesempatan untuk menyaksikan sebuah peristiwa astronomi yang langka dan spektakuler, yaitu Gerhana Matahari Cincin. Pengabdian ini diadakan pada bulan November - Desember 2019 di salah satu sekolah dasar kabupaten Bandung dan kota Cirebon. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap termasuk mengenai Implementasi STREAM kepada guru kelas seperti paparan STREAM, penjelasan tentang merancang pembelajaran berbasis STREAM dan Impelementasi Hasil Rancangan pembelajaran berbasis STREAM di kelas yang telah di sepakati untuk dijalankan program. Kuesioner guru dan siswa diberikan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang respon atas pembelajaran STREAM yang di impelemntasikan.AbstractThis service aims to implement STREAM-based learning (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) with the context of ring solar eclipse material for elementary school students. This astronomy education activity is an effort to increase awareness of observation security in observing ring solar eclipse events for elementary school students through the STREAM learning approach. This activity is intended as a vehicle for astronomical education in instilling an understanding of security awareness to elementary students in observing solar eclipse events in one of the elementary schools of the cities of Cirebon and Bandung. Through this activity teachers and students are expected to be more able to explore the creativeness of their instructors, enjoy, be prepared to participate in astronomy education for children from an early age in learning science to be fun in understanding the physics content about astronomy. Towards the end of the year, precisely on December 26, 2019, the people of Indonesia will have the opportunity to witness a rare and spectacular astronomical event, the Ring Solar Eclipse. This service is held in November - December 2019 in one of the elementary schools in Bandung regency and Cirebon city. This activity is carried out through several stages including the Implementation of STREAM to classroom teachers such as STREAM exposure, explanation of designing STREAM-based learning and Implementation of STREAM-based learning designs in classes that have been agreed to run the program. Teacher and student questionnaires were given to collect data on responses to STREAM learning that was implemented.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model penilaian keterampilan intrapribadi dan antarpribadi dalam pendidikan karakter di SD yang valid, reliabel, dan cocok secara statistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model research and development dari Plomp dengan lima fase, yaitu: investigasi, desain, realisasi, tes, dan implementasi. Subjek  penelitian yaitu  siswa kelas V SD di DI Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dokumentasi, wawancara, FGD, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, formula Aiken’s V, EFA dan CFA. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu konstruk penilaian keterampilan intrapribadi dan antarpribadi dalam pendidikan karakter telah memenuhi syarat validitas, reliabilitas, dan goodness of fit statistic; dan panduan penilaian keterampilan intrapribadi dan antarpribadi dalam pendidikan karakter di SD dinilai komprehensif, mudah, dan praktis oleh para guru selaku pengguna.Kata kunci: keterampilan intrapribadi, keterampilan antarpribadi, pendidikan karakter.______________________________________________________________ DEVELOPING OF ASSESSMENT MODEL OF INTRAPERSONAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS BASED ON CHARACTER EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Abstract The objectives of this study is to develop the assessment model of intrapersonal and interpersonal skills in character education of elementary school students that fit into the criteria of validity, reliability and goodness of fit statistic. This study used plomp’s research and development model which consisted of five phases, namely: investigation, design, realization, testing, and implementation. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of the elementary schools in Yogyakarta Special Region. The data were collected using a questionnaire, documentation, interview, focus group discussion, and observation, and analyzed using the descriptive analysis, formula aiken's V, Exploratory FactorAnalysis (EFA), and  Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results of this study are as follows, (1) the assessment construct of intrapersonal and interpersonal skills based on character education for elementary school students has fulfilled  the criteria of validity, reliability, and the goodness of fit statistic. <p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The purpose of the Research and Development is to <em>Lembar Kerja Siswa</em> a valid, practical, effective worksheet about fractions for elementary school students. Based on the assessment of the material experts, media experts, and users of both teachers and students can be obtained the following information. First, the development of PBL-based worksheet has fulfilled the valid criteria of 85%. Second, it fulfills practical criteria with an average overall response of teacher and student questionnaires of 87%. Third, it has fulfilled the effective criteria with an overall teacher and student response questionnaire of 87%. The results showed that the development of PBL-based worksheet based on folding boards met valid, practical, and effective criteria so that it was appropriate to be used as teaching material in learning.</p><strong>Abstrak:<em> </em></strong>Tujuan penelitian pengembangan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Siswa yang valid, praktis, dan efektif tentang pecahan untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan pengguna baik guru dan siswa dapat diperoleh informasi sebagai berikut. <em>Pertama</em>, pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa berbasis <em>Problem Based Learning</em> telah memenuhi kriteria valid sebesar 85%. <em>Kedua</em>, memenuhi kriteria praktis dengan rata-rata keseluruhan angket respons guru dan siswa sebesar 87%. <em>Ketiga</em>, telah memenuhi kriteria efektif dengan rata-rata keseluruhan angket respons guru dan siswa sebesar 87%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan LKS berbasis  <em>Problem Based Learning</em> berbantuan papan lipat telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract: This study aims to develop a media product in the form of interactive mathematical multimedia called MUTIF MATIKA material for GCD and LCM for grade IV elementary school students that is valid and practical. The research method is the Research and Development used model of ADDIE. Based on formative evaluation by media experts obtained 97 percent, material experts obtained 81.9 percent, trials to teachers obtained 92.5 percent, and trials to students gained 88.5 percent. Based on the percentage gain, it shows that the MUTIF MATIKA media is valid and practical so that it can be used in learning in grade IV in primary schools. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk media berupa multimedia interaktif matematika yang disebut MUTIF MATIKA materi FPB dan KPK untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar yang valid dan praktis. Metode penelitiannya adalah Research and Development menggunakan model ADDIE. Berdasarkan evaluasi formatif oleh ahli media diperoleh 97,2 persen, ahli materi diperoleh 84,7 persen, uji coba oleh guru diperoleh 92,5 persen, dan uji coba oleh siswa 88,5 persen. Berdasarkan perolehan persentase, menunjukkan bahwa media MUTIF MATIKA valid dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas IV sekolah dasar.
