This research is motivated by the weakness of teachers in the use of information and communication technology(ICT) media in the teaching and learning process. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Teluk Kuantan. Thisstudy uses a school action research design consisting of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. From the results of the first cycle research, indicators ofteacher attendance, from 39 teachers, 30 or 76.92% of teachers attended, in cycle II it increased to 39 teachersor 100%. Leptop readiness indicator, 20 or 51.28% of teachers are in the ready category, in the second cyclebecomes 77 or 94.87%. Indicators of physical and mental readiness, 26 or 66.66% of teachers categorized asready, in cycle II to be 39 or 100%. Judging from the observations of teachers in the use of ICT as a medium ofteaching, in cycle I, word processing indicators scored 65 or 55.55% in the sufficient category, the second cycleincreased to 101 or 86.32% in the very good category. Indicators process spreadsheets and graphics, in the firstcycle 74 or 63.24% in the good category, in the second cycle it becomes 103 or 88.03% in the very goodcategory. Indicators of making interactive presentations using power points, 69 cycles or 58.97% are sufficientcategories, cycle II becomes 110 or 94.01% with very good categories. It can be concluded that theimplementation of ICT workshops can improve the ability of teachers in the use of ICT as a teaching medium atSMPN 2 Teluk Kuantan.

Technology has been available for use in schools for several decades. Nevertheless many schools and teachers are still pondering issues related to integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into education. While ICT is used in classroom education, integration of technology into teaching and learning has not yet been achieved. This study analyzes the barriers to educational technology use and what measures are taken to overcome them. Digitalisation is not merely a question of providing equipment, but rather a change in ways of thinking and learning, and the support offered to teachers should take this into consideration.

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) has been increasingly changing the ways of teaching and learning and teacher development. While the literature shows a proliferation of studies exploring various issues of applying ICT in teacher development and teaching practice, there is a lack of overview of the literature in this field. This study aimed to address the gap by reviewing the literature in two themes: (1) ICT in teacher professional development (TPD), and (2) ICT in teaching practice. Six journals of a high impact in the field of teaching and teacher education were selected, from which 85 articles involving ICT applications and published from 2013 to 2019 were identified. Among them, 18 empirical articles highly relevant to the two themes were analysed. The content analysis of these publications identified a set of specific ICT applications in TPD and in teaching practice. Moreover, the analysis revealed the key features of these ICT applications in terms of their functions, their effects on teaching and teacher development, the factors influencing their applications, and the problems in existing applications.

The rapid development of information and communication technology or what is known as Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has penetrated various fields of life, including education and teaching. With regard to learning, the use of information technology, in this case, e-learning, is needed not only for educators who are skilled at utilizing technology and technology for the manufacture of teaching materials, but a design is needed to carry out learning effectively. In a learning design (instructional design) there is a process to guide actors (actors) to design, develop, implement e-learning content by utilizing the available e-learning infrastructure and applications. At the next stage in the implementation of e-learning, there is an evaluation stage which is used to revise or adjust to the previous stages. A good educational institution must develop teachers by providing various facilities to support the teaching and learning process. Teachers can replace it with a new method in the form of video or audio that has been combined with the teaching material they want to convey. As technology develops, mobile or smartphone versions of e-Learning can be compatible with the features available in conventional learning so that the quality of content in the form of subject matter can be accessed properly.

Functions are one of the most important topics of algebra in which the success rate of students is quite low and many misconceptions are commonly encountered. Studies argue that by means of technological support, mathematics teaching in general and functions in particular will be facilitated. On the other hand, the rapid development in technology and digital natives necessitate the integration of technology into the field of education. The aim of this study is to present sample activities with regard to the integration of information and communication technologies into the teaching and learning process of functions by using readily available e-contents; Autograph, one of the softwares used for mathematics teaching; and other basic tools.
