Memristor is a kind of synaptic element with nanometer size and continuously variable memristance. The bridge synaptic circuit constructed by the memristor has a simple structure and precise control. In practice, because of the non-linear characteristics of memristor, it is not easy to control synaptic circuit and errors in weights appear. Therefore, a novel memristor synaptic circuit is proposed in this paper, called the dual-mode memristor bridge synaptic neural network. The proposed method can make the weights more linear by controlling the input voltages and make the outputs more linear by using symmetrical positive and negative pulses. Therefore, the proposed synaptic circuit is easier to be controlled. In this paper, the numerical simulations are conducted and verify the feasibility. Furthermore, the simulation experiments are conducted for edge extraction of grayscale birds’ images in the airport for bird recognition applied for the bird repelling applications.

The present work aims to explore the performance of fuzzy system-based medical image processing for predicting the brain disease. The imaging mechanism of NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) and the complexity of human brain tissues cause the brain MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) images to present varying degrees of noise, weak boundaries, and artifacts. Hence, improvements are made over the fuzzy clustering algorithm. A brain image processing and brain disease diagnosis prediction model is designed based on improved fuzzy clustering and HPU-Net (Hybrid Pyramid U-Net Model for Brain Tumor Segmentation) to ensure the model safety performance. Brain MRI images collected from a Hospital, are employed in simulation experiments to validate the performance of the proposed algorithm. Moreover, CNN (Convolutional Neural Network), RNN (Recurrent Neural Network), FCM (Fuzzy C-Means), LDCFCM (Local Density Clustering Fuzzy C-Means), and AFCM (Adaptive Fuzzy C-Means) are included in simulation experiments for performance comparison. Results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has more nodes, lower energy consumption, and more stable changes than other models under the same conditions. Regarding the overall network performance, the proposed algorithm can complete the data transmission tasks the fastest, basically maintaining at about 4.5 s on average, which performs remarkably better than other models. A further prediction performance analysis reveals that the proposed algorithm provides the highest prediction accuracy for the Whole Tumor under DSC (Dice Similarity Coefficient), reaching 0.936. Besides, its Jaccard coefficient is 0.845, proving its superior segmentation accuracy over other models. In a word, the proposed algorithm can provide higher accuracy, a more apparent denoising effect, and the best segmentation and recognition effect than other models while ensuring energy consumption. The results can provide an experimental basis for the feature recognition and predictive diagnosis of brain images.

AbstractIn recent years, the success of deep learning in natural scene image processing boosted its application in the analysis of remote sensing images. In this paper, we applied Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) on the semantic segmentation of remote sensing images. We improve the Encoder- Decoder CNN structure SegNet with index pooling and U-net to make them suitable for multi-targets semantic segmentation of remote sensing images. The results show that these two models have their own advantages and disadvantages on the segmentation of different objects. In addition, we propose an integrated algorithm that integrates these two models. Experimental results show that the presented integrated algorithm can exploite the advantages of both the models for multi-target segmentation and achieve a better segmentation compared to these two models.

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a common complication of diabetes mellitus (DM), and it is necessary to diagnose DR in the early stages of treatment. With the rapid development of convolutional neural networks in the field of image processing, deep learning methods have achieved great success in the field of medical image processing. Various medical lesion detection systems have been proposed to detect fundus lesions. At present, in the image classification process of diabetic retinopathy, the fine-grained properties of the diseased image are ignored and most of the retinopathy image data sets have serious uneven distribution problems, which limits the ability of the network to predict the classification of lesions to a large extent. We propose a new non-homologous bilinear pooling convolutional neural network model and combine it with the attention mechanism to further improve the network’s ability to extract specific features of the image. The experimental results show that, compared with the most popular fundus image classification models, the network model we proposed can greatly improve the prediction accuracy of the network while maintaining computational efficiency.

Pipe structures are at the base of the entire industry. In the industry structure, heat and vibration are transmitted in each pipe. The minimum distance between each pipe is significant to the security. The assembly error and the deformation of the pipeline positions after multiple runs are significant problems. The reconstruction of the multi-pipe system is a critical technical difficulty in the complex tube system. In this paper, a new method for the multi-pipes structure inspection is presented. Images of the tube system are acquired from several positions. The photogrammetry technology calculates positions, and the necessary coordination of the structure is reconstructed. A convolution neural network is utilized to detect edges of tube-features. The new algorithm for tube identification and reconstruction is presented to extract the tube feature in the image and reconstruct the 3D parameters of all tubes in a multi-pipes structure. The accuracy of the algorithm is verified by simulation experiments. An actual engine of the aircraft is measured to verify the proposed method.

AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) technology has attracted increasing attention. Precise control of AGV position and attitude information in complex operating environment is a key part of smart factories. With outdoor AGV as a platform, this study uses BDS/INS combined navigation system combining Beidou positioning system and inertial navigation system and takes the velocity and position difference between BDS and INS as a model. An integrated navigation method is proposed to improve bee colony algorithm and optimize the BP neural network-assisted Kalman filtering to achieve accurate positioning. Moreover, the optimization of BP neural network navigation using INS navigation, network-assisted navigation and bee colony algorithm is simulated. Results demonstrate that the integrated navigation algorithm has effectiveness and feasibility, and can solve the problems of BDS misalignment and large INS navigation error in complex environments.
