Pneumoconiosis has become one of the biggest threats to the occupational health and life safety of mining workers in China. The number of pneumoconiosis cases has continued to rise in recent years. The main task of occupational health development is to study the pathogenesis of pneumoconiosis and to develop mine dust prevention and control technology. Therefore, this paper summarizes the research progress of coal worker pneumoconiosis and dust prevention and control in mines. Firstly, the research progress of coal worker pneumoconiosis is analyzed from the aspects of pathogenesis, animal model and pathological changes of coal worker pneumoconiosis. Then, the existing basic theory and technology of dust prevention are described, including ventilation and dust removal, spray and dust suppression, and chemical dust suppression methods. Finally, based on the dust removal theory of wet shotcrete, the progress of shotcrete dust control technology and equipment used for shotcrete is summarized from the aspects of shotcrete technology process and shotcrete materials. At the same time, in view of the shortcomings of the existing research, the next research prospect is given in the pathogenesis of pneumoconiosis, intelligent dust prevention, jet spraying dust removal and so on. This paper provides theoretical support for realizing the separate source and efficient treatment of mine dust control and helps to improve the clean production level of mine, control and prevent pneumoconiosis.

In recent years, with the increasing level of mechanization, automation, and intelligence in mine mining, dust pollution in the working environment of coal mines has become increasingly serious. Coal mine dust prevention is an important work related to the life, health, and production safety of miners, and it is also one of the technical problems of mine safety in production. With the continuous revision and improvement of China′s Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law, coal mining enterprises have generally strengthened the publicity, prevention, and control of occupational diseases among employees, and the control of coal mine dust has been used as a means for enterprises to improve the production environment and strengthen the occupational health of employees. Key work-based studies have shown that China’s coal mines have formed a theoretical system and technology system of dust prevention and control. In the future, China’s coal mines will start from intelligent dust prevention, achieve high-precision dust sensing-transmission-assessment and early warning, and develop a combined dust collector that integrates the functions of atomization dust removal, miniaturization, dry and wet mixing, and large air suction capacity. The combined dust collector realizes the efficient ventilation control and dust removal of the fine dust in wide-area complex spaces such as fully mechanized mining face and fully mechanized mining face. At the same time, breakthroughs have been achieved in low-permeability coal seams, such as strong hydraulic permeability-enhancing technology, intelligent dust-proof robots, and chemical dust suppression. This article introduces the basic concepts, generation, distribution, and hazards of coal mine dust and analyzes the characteristics, applicable conditions, and use effects of various dust control measures such as ventilation dust removal and wet dust removal. Moreover, this article also proposes specific prevention and control measures for related occupational diseases and discusses the development trend of dust prevention and control technology in the hope of providing guidance and reference for coal mine dust prevention and control.

All countries are faced with the problem of the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCD): implement prevention strategies eff ectively, keep up the momentum with long term benefi ts at the individual and the population level, at the same time tackling hea lth inequalities. Th e aff ordability of therapy and care including innovative therapies is going to be one of the key public health priorities in the years to come. Germany has taken in the prevention and control of NCDs. Germany’s health system has a long history of guaranteeing access to high-quality treatment through universal health care coverage. Th r ough their membership people are entitled to prevention and care services maintaining and restoring their health as well as long term follow-up. Like in many other countries general life expectancy has been increasing steadily in Germany. Currently, the average life expectancy is 83 and 79 years in women and men, respectively. Th e other side of the coin is that population aging is strongly associated with a growing burden of disease from NCDs. Already over 70 percent of all deaths in Germany are caused by four disease entities: cardiovascular disease, cancer, chronic respiratory disease and diabetes. Th ese diseases all share four common risk factors: smoking, alcohol abuse, lack of physical activity and overweight. At the same time, more and more people become long term survivors of disease due to improved therapy and care. Th e German Government and public health decision makers are aware of the need for action and have responded by initiating and implementing a wide spectrum of activities. One instrument by strengthening primary prevention is the Prevention Health Care Act. Its overarching aim is to prevent NCDs before they can manifest themselves by strengthening primary prevention and health promotion in diff erent sett ings. One of the main emphasis of the Prevention Health Care Act is the occupational health promotion at the workplace.

Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) is caused by Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV), which is characterized by sow reproductive disorder and piglet respiratory syndrome. The complex pathogenesis of PPRS includes antibody-dependent enhancement, immune suppression and persistent infection in the body and viral genetic diversity. In order to have a better understanding of the occurrence and prevalence of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome in China. The review of PRRS etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, genetic variation, diagnosis and control technology and other aspects of the progress were carried out.

According to the actual monitoring data of mining environment and rock burst happening on the 3511 fully-mechanized workface in Anyuan coal mine, the research of the rock burst on the workface and its surrounding rock of gob-side entry is done and the reasonable supporting scheme is determined. The research results are of great guiding importance to the coal mining that has similar condition, provide scientific basis for the control technology of rock burst on the workface and its gob-side entry as well as the reasonable identification of support parameters on the gob-side tunnel, and supply technology protection in order to accelerate the advancing speed of workface. Finally it can produce larger economic benefit.

With the development of modern coal mining equipment, high-yield, high efficiency, high-speed mining technology was achieved, but also a sharp increase in the amount of dust generated in the mine at the same time, it damage workers health and bring insecurity to mine production. This paper has summarized the existing domestic and international prevention and control technology of dusts, elaborated mineral dust prevention and control work from the dust control, dust generation and dust diffusion three major aspects, and noted that the current technology trends.
