This research is concerned with developing a framework for the evaluation of an organisation’s potential to engage in knowledge management (an organisation’s ‘KM-readiness’, or KMR). To recap, Chapter 3 offered background information and empirical evidence of issues that need to be considered in organisations, Chapter 4 provided an overview of knowledge management, and Chapter 5 explored organisational structure, strategy, and culture in the context of knowledge management. Discussion thus far would not be sufficient to provide a robust and reasoned framework. This chapter is intended to accumulate some further and more focussed ideas as to what should be in a KMR framework, and to assist in the understanding of the material presented here and further on in this thesis. This chapter, therefore, provides a comprehensive review of published knowledge management frameworks that purport to address evaluation, implementation, and other connected areas. Before continuing, it is important to set this exercise in context. The review of frameworks is distinct from a review of literature in which the frameworks are presented. The latter is not intended here. For example, a review of a paper may involve a comprehensive critique, which includes exploration into the general area of research, clarification of the hypothesis, detailed examination of research methods and methodology, literature review, and comprehensive examination of data representation and quality. Such a review would consider the presentation of the paper, and it would critically reflect on the overall purpose of the paper and contribution made to new knowledge, either conceptual or practical. This review focuses solely on the frameworks presented in a paper and in particular those that may address evaluation of knowledge management in an organisation.

ABSTRACT Lateral swivel dislocation, a subtype pattern of dislocations occurring at mid tarsal joint is a rare type of injury. A medially or laterally directed force applied to the forefoot causes dislocation of the talonavicular joint but not subtalar joint. The calcaneum alongwith the remaining foot swivels on the intact interosseous talocalcaneal ligament. The present case report is a more rare lateral swivel type of dislocation of talonavicular joint in a 25-year-old male. The article also presents a comprehensive review of literature and management of such type of injuries of the hindfoot . How to cite this article Kapila R, Verka Ps, Garg Rs, Ahmed M. A home advantage in sport competitions has been well documented. The strength and consistency of the home advantage has made it a popular phenomenon in sport today. Very little systematic research has been carried out, however, and the home advantage remains one of the least understood phenomena in sport. It appears that much of the game location research has been arbitrary, and a clear sense of direction is lacking. The purpose of the present paper is to provide a conceptual framework to organize a comprehensive review of previous game location research and provide direction for future research. The review of literature indicated that the descriptive phase of inquiry has been completed, and it is time to address the underlying mechanisms responsible for the manifestation of the home advantage. Possible methodologies and areas of inquiry are highlighted and discussed.

The Holy Quran ontology models are gaining popularity among researchers due to people’s demands in understanding this divine book. Due to this, there are many studies and research have been conducted in this area to facilitate people’s understanding of the Quran. The Quran knowledge is represented conforming to an ontology within a system framework. This also includes various concepts that are interrelated with the others. From the literature, however, the existing Quranic ontology models do not cover all concepts in the Quran, which limit them to domains such as place nouns, themes, pronouns, antonyms and Islamic knowledge in the Quran. Thus, this research aims to identify relevant research works from various electronic data sources using systematic literature review (SLR) method to provide a comprehensive review of this area. This paper presents a systematic review of the literature related to the existing ontology models, where it leads to disseminating the correct knowledge of the Quran using semantic technologies.

Submarine landslide is the most serious threat on both local and regional scales. Tsunami phenomenon induced by submarine slide has put us on the challenge in understanding from generation mechanism to propagation and coastal inundation and mitigating the risk from it. Submarine slides can trigger tsunamis with high run-up affecting offshore structures, subsea facilities and human lives along the shoreline. Unfortunately, there are no effective numerical models that could simulate simultaneously all stages of generation, propagation and run-up of tsunamis phenomena. This paper presents a comprehensive review on the landslide tsunami phenomenon.
