The Internet of Things (IoT) has realised the fourth industrial revolution concept; however, its applications in the manufacturing industry are relatively sparse and primarily investigated without contextual peculiarities. Our research undertakes an intricate critical review to investigate significant aspects of IoT applications in the manufacturing Industry 4.0 perspective to address this gap. We adopt a systematic literature review approach by Denyer and Tranfield (2009) to carry out critical analyses that help develop future research domains based on empirical studies. We describe key knowledge gaps in the existing literature and empirical studies by exploring the main contribution categories and finding six critical differences between traditional and manufacturing Industry 4.0 and 10 enablers and 11 challenges of IoT applications. Finally, an agenda for future research is proposed with 11 research domains to focus on the recognised gaps.

Next-generation technologies such as robotics, the internet of things, artificial intelligence, sensors, cognitive technologies, nanotechnology, quantum computing, wearable technologies, augmented reality, intelligent signaling, and intelligent robots have led the fourth industrial revolution, often referred to as Industry 4.0. With the rapid advance of technology, most people today rely heavily on the internet to get information while traveling anywhere, because the use of technology has deeply penetrated daily life. The internet also makes travel easier and more convenient. For instance, it is possible to plan travel using smartphones and applications and at the same time meet instant travel needs as they arise. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine tourism guidance within the scope of the super-smart tourists of the future, to determine the usage areas of next-generation technologies in the field of tourism guidance, and to give recommendations for tourism guidance in this regard.

RESUMOA Indústria 4.0 é um tema em ascensão tanto no meio acadêmico como no contexto prático de empresas. As pesquisas atuais focam seus esforços nos estudos dos benefícios dos conceitos e tecnologias envolvidos no conceito da Quarta Revolução Industrial, no entanto, poucas procuram entender quais os pontos negativos. Dessa forma, através de uma revisão bibliográfica sistematizada realizada em janeiro de 2019, esse estudo procura entender quais são riscos em evidência na literatura que empresas do setor industrial podem enfrentar no contexto da Indústria 4.0. Foram selecionados 66 artigos através das bases de dados Scopus e Web of Science, os quais foram bibliometricamente estudados em relação aos autores e periódicos mais relevantes. Em seguida, estudando os 28 riscos mapeados na literatura por Soltovski et al. (2019), foi possível entender quais são mais representativos na literatura na perspectiva da sustentabilidade (ambiental, econômico e social) e na perspectiva tecnológica. De forma geral, descobrimos que os riscos relacionados à conectividade, como cyber atacks e vazamento de dados privados através de tecnologias, como Internet das Coisas, são os mais discutidos na literatura. Além disso, constatamos que existe carência de estudos na perspectiva ambiental e econômica. Por fim, foram sumarizadas contribuições gerenciais e potenciais direcionamentos para futuros pesquisadores.Palavras-chave: Indústria 4.0. Sustentabilidade. Gestão de Risco. ABSTRACTIndustry 4.0 is a growing topic, both in academia and in the practical context of companies. Current research focuses its efforts on studies of benefits and technologies involved in the concept of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, however, they rarely understand what the negative points are. Thus, through a systematic literature review conducted in January 2019, this study can understand what are the risks in evidence in the literature that companies in the industrial sector may face in the context of Industry 4.0. 66 articles were selected on the Scopus and Web of Science databases, which are the bibliometrically studied in relation to the most relevant authors and journals. Then, studying the 28 risks mapped in the literature by Soltovski et al. (2019), it was possible to understand which are the most representative in the literature from the perspective of sustainability (environmental, economic and social) and from a technological perspective. In general, we found that risks related to connectivity such as cyber attacks and data leakage are using technologies like the Internet of Things that are most discussed in the literature. In addition, we note that there is a lack of studies from an environmental and economic perspective. Finally, managerial contributions were summarized and directed to future researchers.Keywords: Industry 4.0. Sustainability. Risk Management.

With the rapid development of technology in the digitalization era, Industry 4.0 became a terminology that became a reference for research and development in the field of technology in various sectors. This continues to trigger all people to develop technology to enable better utilization in facilitating human life. Society 5.0 is an idea that explains the revolution in people's lives with the development of the fourth industrial revolution. The concept that wants to be presented is how there is a revolution in society that both utilizing technology and also considering humanities aspects. Some sectors of work and needs are beginning to enter digitalization that utilizes Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Robotics, Automation, Machine Learning, and the Internet of Things.

The preferred methodological approach in the study is a general analysis of auditing in Industry 4.0 in the form of a literature review. According to the purpose of the study, the effect and role of auditing big data, the internet of things, the cloud, artificial intelligence, and other components in Industry 4.0 are investigated. Furthermore, auditing activities that can be implemented in Industry 4.0 are presented as suggestions in the study. The study explains the role of auditing as a whole in Industry 4.0 as a consequence of examining audit activities for each component in Industry 4.0.

In the Era of Industry 4.0, technology has a significant impact on how people live and work. The pharmaceutical sector is likely to face an "innovator dilemma" when dealing with the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Pharmaceutical employees should prepare to adopt technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Robotic, 3-D printing (Baines et al., 2018). Even in the industry based on technology, companies' performance does not rely solely on technological expertise. Technology is not the most significant barrier to adopting the 4.0 Era, but organizational culture and employee readiness are the biggest challenges (Vuong et al., 2019). To survive in Industrial Era 4.0, having sufficient knowledge of technology's changes and speed is essential. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that specific low-skilled jobs will be eliminated (Dirican, 2015). Supposedly, the development of technology does not replace workers but instead increases efficiency in work. Note that the future workforce has a critical role to play in the success of factory innovation. Transformation in era 4.0 requires workforces to have good competence. This study will explain the influence of industrial revolution 4.0 on the competence of STIE Pembangunan Tanjungpinang Students. The workforce needed by the industry today are those are competent in the use of digital technology to create smart factories, such as one of the Internet of Things (IoT). The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 opens the opportunity to all students to acquire expertise in accordance with the latest technological developments. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out an up-skilling program or reskilling of students based on the needs of today's industry because talent is the key or important factor for the success participation in industry 4.0. This study uses participatory qualitative research method, which emphasize the depth of the results of research where researchers are directly involved as research instruments. Data is obtained through literature studies, interviews and direct practice. The results of this study will explain the efforts in preparing and mapping the competence of STIE Development students in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. in creating competent students. This is important if our nation wants to be empowered in the days of the fourth industrial revolution which is all automatic and robotic characterised by the latest technology.

In the era of Industry 4.0, the Internet-of-Things (IoT) performs the driving position analogous to the initial industrial metamorphosis. IoT affords the potential to couple machine-to-machine intercommunication and real-time information-gathering within the industry domain. Hence, the enactment of IoT in the industry magnifies effective optimization, authority, and data-driven judgment. However, this field undergoes several interoperable issues, including large numbers of heterogeneous IoT gadgets, tools, software, sensing, and processing components, joining through the Internet, despite the deficiency of communication protocols and standards. Recently, various interoperable protocols, platforms, standards, and technologies are enhanced and altered according to the specifications of the applicability in industrial applications. However, there are no recent survey papers that primarily examine various interoperability issues that Industrial IoT (IIoT) faces. In this review, we investigate the conventional and recent developments of relevant state-of-the-art IIoT technologies, frameworks, and solutions for facilitating interoperability between different IIoT components. We also discuss several interoperable IIoT standards, protocols, and models for digitizing the industrial revolution. Finally, we conclude this survey with an inherent discussion of open challenges and directions for future research.

The purpose of the study is to identify the challenges, prospects and ways for the development of the manufacturing industry in Vietnam in the context of Industry 4.0, after COVID-19. The article examines the development of the manufacturing industry in the context of Industry 4.0. The research methodology includes comparative analysis, elements of positive and normative analysis. The study is based on statistical information available within the period of writing the article (till October 1, 2020). The data of Vietnamese and international research organizations and statistics bodies, in particular, the websites of World Bank and General Statistics Office of were used. The leading role of the manufacturing industry in achieving sustainable economic development in developing countries, including Vietnam, was determined. Based on an assessment of the levels of development of the manufacturing industry in Vietnam from 2011 to 2019 and the state of production of the main manufacturing industries under the influence of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, urgent problems of the development of the manufacturing industry in the context of Industry 4.0 in Vietnam were identified. The coronavirus pandemic, on the one hand, is seen as the reason for the slowdown in production growth in the manufacturing industry, and on the other hand, as a condition for accelerating digital transformation in industrial manufacturing enterprises. The article identifies the main challenges and prospects for the development of the manufacturing industry in Vietnam in the fourth industrial revolution. The human resource challenge for the development of manufacturing in the context of the fourth industrial revolution was identified in some specific industries such as textiles, food processing, machinery and equipment manufacturing by analyzing the Report of 2019 about Industry 4.0 Readiness of Vietnam’s industrial enterprises. The main priority areas for improving the production of the manufacturing industry in Vietnam to achieve sustainable industrial development are presented. The results of the work can be used in the development of policies for the development of the manufacturing industry not only in Vietnam, but also in other developing countries
