The aim of the study was to assess the professional risk of developing diseases in workers of the railway car repair enterprise. The Voronezh Car Repair Plant, a branch of Vagonremmash Joint-Stock Company, was chosen as the object of study. Methods: «The methodology for calculating individual occupational risk depending on the working conditions and the health status of the employee», developed by the Klin Institute for Protection and Working Conditions in conjunction with the Research Institute of Occupational Medicine (2013), the main professions; cohort study with the calculation of the relative risk of morbidity with temporary disability, the odds ratio, the etiological share of factors in the formation of morbidity (group size: 250 people, experimental group — workers of the main specialties, 95 people — comparison group). Results. According to the research results, the priority factors of occupational health risk include: chemical, noise, heating microclimate, low light level. For certain professions, the share of the contribution of priority factors to the risk profile (PV) reaches 40 %. The indicator of individual occupational risk is 0.12 to 0.26 units. The high level of professional risk (0.22 ÷ 0.26) is characterized by the working conditions of the mechanics for the repair of rolling stock, machine tools (woodworking), casters (metal), thermists, plastic casters. In professional groups with medium and high risk, the indicator of the relative risk of morbidity with temporary disability is higher than 1 (RR = 1.75 and 1.39, respectively), and the etiological share of production factors in the formation of diseases is from 27.95 (subgroup with secondary professional risk) up to 42.88 % (a subgroup with high professional risk), which indicates the professional condition of the disease. Discussion. In general, our data are consistent with the results of similar studies conducted earlier at the car building and car repair enterprises. In order to ensure hygienically safe working conditions and preserve the health of workers, it is necessary to reduce the level of exposure to production factors, including through the introduction of modern equipment and improvement of technological processes.

Introduction: The assessment and management of occupational risks has the purpose conducting of analysis and assessing the health of workers by timely, complete and adequate passing of the previous and periodic medical examination, registration and analysis of morbidity and establishment of cause-and-effect relationship with working conditions. The aim:Prediction of occupational risk based on study of diseases with temporary disability was conducted in the analysis of disability sheets and the report on causes of temporary disability in workers extraction of iron ore. Materials and methods: Hygienic, epidemiological and statistical methods of research were used to solve this purpose. Results: In the workers involved in the extraction and processing of iron ore the level of morbidity with temporary disability is from 81,87±3,64 to 98,06±2,49 cases (p<0,05), from 806,53±40,51 to 1217,67±63,50 days of disability (p<0,05), the average duration of one case was from 10,00±1,42 to 12,39±0,24, and according to the scale of assessment of the indicators of morbidity rates by L. E. Notkin characterized in days as average; in cases as high. The calculation of morbidity rates (L and OR) makes it possible to predict what degree and class of harmful production factors can lead to the corresponding levels of morbidity. The proposed forecasting method makes it possible to predict the categories of occupational risk in depending on the class of working conditions and the relative risk of morbidity with temporary disability. Conclusions: Studying the morbidity and condition of working conditions is the basis for predicting occupational risk for effective management decisions.

A brief history of the development of high-speed passenger traffic in the countries of the world is shown, it is shown that the length of high-speed highways (SMM) in the world is 44 thousand km. Despite the fact that Ukraine is not included in the list of 28 countries with the SMM, a two-system electric train ECR1 "Tarpan" was created on the basis of the PUBLIC JOINT STOCK COMPANY "KRYUKOVSKY RAILWAY CAR BUILDING WORKS" (PJSC "KVBZ") for the speed of movement of more than 200 km / h. A description of the electric train and the peculiarities of the brake system are given. It is shown that the brake system corresponds to world counterparts for high-speed trains about what evidence test results, which, due to the lack of ATS, were carried out for a speed of 160 km / h. The results of the settlement research, using the mathematical model and the results of the driving brake tests, showed that the braking pathway of the electric train at a speed of 200 km / h is 1539 m, and at a speed of 300 km / h - 3172 m. The obtained brake path values comply with the technical requirements of the European Union TSI . Studies confirm that Ukraine has high-speed rolling stock for speeds up to 300 km / h. Key words: high-speed rolling stock, electric train, brake system, brake path, speed

Development of capital relationship occurs in many areas. We can identify the main two of them: the development of the main organizational form of business activity as joint-stock companies and the development of their reproductive activity, which is reflected in the fundamental change in the processes of formation of the cost of the goods produced by these companies. The main trend in the development of a joint stock company may be called the “socialization of capital”, which not only retains many of the old ways of the private appropriation of profits, but also creates new kinds of them. The chain of commercial structures development involves conversion of the national jointstock companies into the international joint-stock companies, or multinational companies. This, in turn, leads to the transformation of a number of states, among which we include the developed or rich countries of the world, into a kind of “joint-stock” societies, whose citizens have an opportunity to increase (through an appropriate system of maintenance of a high level of wages and social benefits) their personal consumption financed by appropriating a disproportionately large part of the total world income by the country as a whole. Such a country objectively turns into a special economic-social form of existence of the joint-stock company. The basis for such a transformation of the state into a sort of joint-stock company is a new nature of production of the majority of modern goods. It consists in the change of the creation process of goods’ value which leads to the complete subordination of all its stages to the corresponding MNC groups.

The JSC (Joint-Stock Company) “Railway Products Conformity Assessment Center”, under a contract with JSC “Lithuanian Railways”, carried out a rolling stock geometry and rolling surface defect risk assessment study which analyzed the principles and algorithm of the ATLAS-LG system used by JSC “Lithuanian Railways” and the system’s advantages and similarities with other systems used for rolling surface defect prediction worldwide. According to the results of this study, JSC “Voestalpine VAE Legetecha” made changes to the algorithms of its ATLAS-LG computing system and changed the parameter used to determine the damage to wheelsets. The goal of this work was to review the automatic systems of rolling stock used to evaluate the state of the rolling stock, compare the criteria for culling, describe the methodology for setting a new parameter for detecting wheel damage Pderivative instead of the previous parameter Kdm, and upgrade operational algorithms of ATLAS. This paper describes the algorithm and methodology for setting a new parameter, evaluating the construction of rolling stock and movement speed. To develop a replacement algorithm for the ATLAS-LG system, a new parameter verification methodology using the inverse Laplace transform for the mathematical model was used.
