The most promising in the world practice are launch vehicles using titanium spherical vessels in a cryogenic medium at high pressure. The paper deals with an import-substituting technology, which provides a closed production cycle for the manufacture of titanium spherical vessels at the JSC “Chemical Automatics Design Bureau” and analyzes existing manufacturing technologies. We developed an innovative method of shaping and machining hemispheres from hard-to-deform advanced titanium alloys, providing maximum automation and productivity of the process. For hydraulic and cryogenic tests of submersible titanium vessels, bench equipment was developed and introduced into production. For simulating the facility operating conditions in order to reduce the cost and increase the safety of tests, liquid oxygen was replaced with liquid nitrogen and helium was replaced with high-pressure nitrogen. Within the study, we substantiated the area of ??effective use of the import-substituting technology and developed production facilities of a closed cycle for the production of titanium vessels with a capacity of 25 and 130 liters.

The article is devoted to the multifaceted topic of attitude to labour, which remains relevant for representatives of a number of social sciences and practices due to the extraordinary complexity of the phenomenon of labour itself and the increasing rate of change in the structure of employment. Representatives of the exact sciences also do not ignore this topic. A worthy example is the fascinating book of autobiographical essays by the famous radio engineer and scientist Kira Belostotskaya, Honored Creator and Tester of space technology. In addition to the undoubted literary merits, these are undoubtedly useful for professionals carefully documented observations about labour and work, expressed in a literary, emotionally caring form. About their fullness of meanings associated with a specific job in the outstanding work collective of Experimental design bureau of MPEI, a talented social community and its outstanding persons. This is a cognitively interesting story about the value foundations of highly qualified creative engineering labour, about the choice of “work that matches your soul” and professional growth, behavior at work and effective organizational culture, leadership and personnel policy, about many other things that are important for organizing work with personnel that meet the requirements of the time. The list of problems that form the whole subject of activity of specialists in personnel management would take up too much space. However, even the listed ones allow us to recommend reading the book under discussion to representatives of this demanded profession as a rare opportunity for a broader view of the corresponding labour activity that goes beyond current affairs.

On the basis of a wide base of sources, the article highlights and analyzes the development of research work of aircraft engine companies in Zaporizhzhia during the 1970s. The existence of a single system of functioning of the Zaporizhzhia production association “Motorobudivnyk” (now the Public Joint Stock Company “Motor Sich”) and the Zaporizhzhia Machine-Building Design Bureau “Progress” (now the State Enterprise “Ivchenko – Progress”) is taken into account. The directions of research work that were peculiar to the specified period are established. These were inventive activities, development of technological processes, increasing the reliability and durability of gas turbine engines, automation and mechanization of production, cooperation with industry firms in other countries, and cooperation with research institutions. The development of a scientific-theoretical and technical basis for the production of aircraft engines is comprehensively assessed. Its dependence on structural subdivisions, which at the aircraft engine enterprises were the department of scientific and technical information, the Information and Computing Center, the department of patenting, innovation and invention of the plant, was determined. They were engaged in the accumulation, generalization and dissemination among specialists of their own and borrowed experience of both past and present. The activity of the scientific and technical council, which included leading specialists of Zaporizhia aircraft engine companies, was monitored. Factors that contributed to the revival of research in the second half of the 1970’s were identified. Among them, the leading place belongs to the creation and production of D-36 and D-18T aircraft engines. The design advantages of these engines are described. Some shortcomings and miscalculations made during their design are taken into account. Methods and measures aimed at overcoming the difficulties associated with the design, manufacture, operation and repair of aircraft engines are summarized. The research is based on the following methods: actualization, comparative-historical, problem-chronological, multifactor analysis, principles of historicism and objectivity.

Purpose of the study. To determine the association of individual biomolecular markers of oncogenesis MMP‑2, MMP‑9 and the inhibitor of metalloproteinases TIMP‑1 with the risk of tumor invasion and metastasis in the early and late postoperative period in various types of surgical treatment of RCC.Materials and methods. The study prospectively included medical data of 60 patients with kidney cancer with T1-3N0 M0 who received surgical treatment at the Urology Clinic of the S.R.Mirotvortsev Design Bureau of the SSMU from 2016 to 2019. The patients were divided into 3 groups: 1st group included 20 patients who underwent kidney resection for elective indications, with tumors of the renal parenchyma; 2nd group – 20 patients who underwent radical nephrectomy by laparoscopic approach; Group 3-20 patients who underwent radical nephrectomy with lumbotomy access. All patients being in the early (7-10th day) and long-term postoperative period (after 1 and 2 years) by solid-phase ELISA, on a StatFax 4200 analyzer using eBiosence and Cloud-Clone Corp reagent kits, a study was made on the basis of the concentration in the blood serum of markers of oncogenesis MMP‑2, MMP‑9 and TIMP‑1 metalloproteinase inhibitor.Results. In all groups of patients with RCC, an initial increase in the concentration of MMP‑9 was revealed compared to the control (p≤0.05). According to the results of the ROC analysis, this indicator has a high specificity and sensitivity in terms of predicting RCC at the preoperative stage. The highest sensitivity and specificity for detecting tumor progression was demonstrated by matrix metalloproteinases: MMP‑2 – sensitivity 96 %, specificity 67 % (cut-off point 357.5 pg/ml) and MMP‑9 – sensitivity 87.5 % and specificity 62 % (cut-off point 958 ng/ml). At the same time, TIMP‑1 showed less significant indicators – sensitivity and specificity (74 % and 60 %, respectively) with a cut-off point of 0.49 ng/ml.Conclusion. Serum MMP‑2 and MMP‑9 are a marker of a poor prognosis for the progression of RCC. Elevated levels of MMP‑9 in the blood serum of RCC patients before and after various types of surgical treatment reflect the individual characteristics of the patient’s body and the tumor process. Dynamic monitoring of the level of markers of oncogenesis in patients with RCC allows a personalized approach to the choice of the scope and method of surgical treatment of RCC.

One of the ways to obtain nuclear explosives for the manufacture of the first atomic bombs was the separation of uranium isotopes by electromagnetic (mass spectrographic) method. The theoretical justification and experimental separation of uranium isotopes by this method was carried out by L. A. Artsimovich in the Laboratory No. 2 of the USSR Academy of Sciences. By the middle of 1945, L. A. Artsimovich had obtained results at the experimental facility indicating the possibility of stable enrichment of uranium with the U-235 isotope using this method. Having the results of the experiments, the Design Bureau at the “Electrosila” plant (D. V. Efremov), with the participation of the Research Vacuum Institute (S. A. Vekshinsky) and the “A” Institute (M. Ardenne), developed a project of an industrial multi-chamber installation for electromagnetic separation of uranium isotopes SU-20. Such an installation was manufactured and put into operation at the newly created plant in the Urals, which allowed in 1951 to obtain the necessary amount of uranium-235 for the RDS-3 atomic bomb. After 1952, the technology of electromagnetic separation was no more used for the separation of uranium isotopes due to the improvement of more productive equipment for gas-diffusion separation of isotopes. The equipment of the electromagnetic isotope separation plant built in the Urals was used to produce lithium-6, needed to equip the first thermonuclear charge, which was successfully tested in 1953. In the next years, the electromagnetic isotope separation plant was involved in the manufacture of isotope products for scientific, technical and medical applications at wide range of utilization in Russia and abroad.
