Headache (cephalalgia) is one of the most common symptoms and is a manifestation of more than 50 diseases. According to the World Health Organization, at least one episode of headache during a lifetime has occurred in almost every inhabitant of the Earth, and about half of them noted periodic headaches. In its etiology, cephalalgia can be primary, not associated with organic damage to tissues and organs, and secondary, which is based on pathological changes. In particular, cephalalgia in inflammatory lesions of the paranasal sinuses, brain tumors, encephalitis and meningitis, acute cerebrovascular accident, head trauma, arterial hypertension, aneurysm of the cerebral vessels, etc., should be attributed to the secondary headache. In 95–97 % of cases, the headache is not based on organic lesion, and in this case, the headache is primary. Primary cephalalgia can be based on both vegetative-vascular and metabolic-destructive changes. Primary headache can be noted with emotional or physical overstrain, exposure to a number of light, sound or olfactory stimuli, liquorodynamic or dysmetabolic disorders, when taking certain medications. Conventionally, primary headache can be divided into three groups — tension headache, migraine and cluster headache.

AbstractPosttraumatic headaches are among the most challenging complaints after mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). They are a debilitating problem experienced by patients after TBI of all severities. Up to 90% of mild TBI patients experience headache, particularly if female and with a premorbid history of primary headache. Tension headache has classically been the most common subtype, but in military populations migraine has dominated. Posttraumatic headache encompasses a spectrum of headache types that overlap heavily with common primary headache disorders, but also autonomic cephalgias as well as several secondary headache conditions. It is important to understand the evolution of postconcussion syndrome as a concept, and the challenges associated with diagnosing and treating multidomain drivers effectively. The first-line treatments for posttraumatic headache are typically the same as those used in nontraumatic headache, with additional considerations for cognitive side effects, posttraumatic epilepsy, and coexisting injuries resulting in neuropathic pain or medication overuse.

Filariasis as part of the neglected tropical disease is one of the health problems in the world. Filariasis divided into onchocerciasis (river blindness) and lymphatic filariasis or elephantiasis. This disease caused by filarial nematode parasites Onchocerca volvulus, Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi and Brugia timori. Filariasis transmitted by several mosquito genera as the vector. Indonesia as endemic filariasis, agreed on plays a role on World Health Organization (WHO) global filariasis elimination in 2020. Sterile insect technique (SIT) is a potential method which can be applied to filariasis elimination program by controlling the mosquito population. Basic principles of SIT involve mass rearing of species target, sterilization process using gamma-rays and releasing sterile male insect into a target area. SIT combined with other methods under one management as Area-wide Integrated Pest Management (AW-IPM) to increasing effectiveness and successful filariasis elimination program in Indonesia. Filariasis elimination program in Indonesia has several challenges and needed public participation to achieve program goals.

Dorsopathies are enduring importance among medical problems. This confirms the fact that the World Health Organization declared a theme associated with dorsopathies, as priorities for the next five-year period. It should be emphasized that the etiology and pathogenesis of these states are reviewed with the «enviable» frequency, and this, naturally, is reflected on the principles of treatment and rehabilitation of this contingent. In this review the mechanisms and features of application of the basic drug and non-drug methods of treatment used in modern clinic, are considered. It should be noted that a use of a complex approach, aimed at correction and relief of various vertebral and pathological manifestations, is optimal in this case. In particular, the review presents in details the options for medical treatment and a variety of technologies of physical stimulation - from traction to modern hardware methods of physiotherapy. Taking into account authors’ own original developments, special attention is paid to theoretical and practical aspects of reflexology, which is widely used in complex therapy of patients with dorsopathies. In this block, the authors provide Oriental, traditional approaches to acupuncture and promising ways, based on the combined use of Eastern and Western medical schemes. The authors identify separately the pharmacopuncture as the action caused by the summation of the effects as reflex irritation and entered in the field point of medicaments. Pharmacopuncture involves the use of various medicines, but complex homeopathic remedies provide a distinct therapeutic result, i.e., the authors suggest that there are subtle mechanisms of interaction between point and drugs of this class.

Over the last three decades there has been increasing global concern over the public health impacts attributed to environmental pollution, in particular, the global burden of disease. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that about a quarter of the diseases facing mankind today occur due to prolonged exposure to environmental pollution.  Recent reports have shown that approximately around 50,000 people dies daily due to water pollution only. The main reason behind this rapid increase in pollution is the Human greed of development and industrialization.   Recent reports have shown that with this rapid rate of conservation of natural sources of energy, natural biomass sources would completely vanish from the earth in less than 20years. Clearly, Human Greed has taken over human need of development. In this blind race of industrialization, mankind has forgotten that how much it is affecting our environment and what drastic results would occur if we continue to disrespect the nature.  With this rate of pollution, many severe issues such as Global Warming and depletion of ozone layer etc.

To manage patients with drug-induced headache (DIH) is an unsolved problem of modern neurology in developed countries, since DIH is becoming a common cause of temporary disability and leads to lower quality of life in patients. Patients with primary headache (for example, those with tension headache or migraine) frequently take symptomatic headache relief medications uncontrollably, which can result in the higher frequency and intensity of DIH episodes. In turn, new headache attacks make the patients take the increasing number of symptomatic medications, which leads to the development of DIH.The International Classification of Headache Disorders, 3 rd Edition, defines DIH as a distinct form of secondary headache. To date, there is no consensus on the tactics of DIH treatment and prevention. The paper discusses different approaches to DIH prevention and treatment, the effectiveness and appropriateness of their use, as well as factors influencing illness course and possible outcomes. Particular attention is paid to the management of patients during the withdrawal period, risk factors for DIH recurrences, and ways of their prevention.

SUMMARYAims – The aims of the study are to evaluate the prevalence rates for headache among an Italian sample of early-adolescents and the role of possible related factors (school stress and social support). Methods – The survey reported here is part of the larger Health Behaviour in School Aged Children (HBSC) trans-national study, which is co-ordinated by the European Office of the World Health Organization. The data were gathered through self-administered questionnaires filled out by a representative sample of 4, 386 (48.4% males) Italian students (11-, 13- and 15-year old). The main areas covered in the questionnaire were health and health behaviour. Results – The overall prevalence of frequent headache (at least once a week) was 40.5%. Boys are less at risk than girls and the prevalence increases with age. Moreover, school demands (positively) and teacher's support (negatively) showed a significant association with the outcome. Conclusions – Compared to other countries, results revealed how this symptom is very common among Italian's early adolescents. Further, results shows the relevance of the school setting, in terms of teacher's demands and support, for the prevention of this symptom among early adolescents.Declaration of Interest: The HBSC study is partly funded by the University of Padova through a scholarship attributed to Dr. Alessio Vieno (Year 2001 - prot. Coronavirus also known as COVID 19 or SARS N-CoV2 is a recent virus outbreak and pandemic in nature infecting and spreading among humans all around the earth. Since it’s a communicable disease it’s considered to be most dangerous in terms of spread regardless of its mortality rate. However, World Health Organization (WHO) has given guidelines to overcome the spread of the pandemic and at the same time, all the nations have followed serious actions and procedures by way of social distancing, lockdown, home quarantine etc. to curb the spread and to curtain the virus. The lockdown has stopped human activities and paralysed economic conditions but environmental rejuvenation is taking place at a great speed.
