Penelitian merupakan  studi kasus yang menganalisa faktor yang mempengaruhi  profitabilitas. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi profitabilitas pada penelitian ini adalah perputaran asset tetap. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yaitu data yang diambil dari laporan keuangan mulai  tahun 2004 sampai  tahun 2013. Penggunaan metode dalam menganalisa suatu hubungan antara variabel terikat dan variabel tidak terikat yaitu  regresi linier sederhana. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian koefisien regresi yaitu dengan uji t. Aplikasi pengolahan data penelitian yang digunakan adalah SPSS. Hasil dari pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini memperlihatkan adanya suatu  keeratan yang terjadi  antara hubungan asset tetap dengan return on assets  pada PT KAI yang terlihat masih rendah. Sekitar 5,3 % merupakan besarnya nilai pengaruh perputaran asset tetap terhadap ROA (Return on Assets), sedangkan  94,7% sisanya yaitu dipengaruhi oleh  faktor-faktor lainnya  yang tidak ikut dimasukan dalam indikator variabel tidak terikat dalam  penelitian.   Kata Kunci: Profitabilitas, Perputaran asset tetap, Return on Asset, SPSS dan Laporan Keuangan

This study aims to determine and analyze how much influence the bank's internal factors such as Equity, Operational Costs per Operating Income (BOPO), Financing Deposit to Ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF) as a mediator and external or macroeconomic factors namely inflation and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on profitability represented by Return on Assets (ROA) at Bank Muamalat Indonesia for the period 2008-2018. The data used in this research are secondary data obtained from the publication of quarterly financial statements from 2008 to quarter 2 of 2018. The method that used in this research is path analysis with SPSS 20.0 as the analytical tool. The results of the study partially test the hypothesis (t-test), in substructure I shows that the capital variable has a significant negative effect on NPF, BOPO and inflation has a significant positive effect on NPF, FDR and GDP do not significantly influence NPF at Bank Muamalat Indonesia. In substructure II partially, Capital, BOPO, significant negative effect on ROA, FDR and NPF has a significant positive effect on ROA, Inflation and GDP does not significantly influence ROA while simultaneously significantly influencing ROA. Based on the sobel test, capital has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, BOPO has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, FDR has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, Inflation has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, while GDP has no significant effect on ROA through NPF.

The article focuses to analyze finance ratio consist of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Interest Margin (NIM) Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) except Earnings before Interest Tax (EBIT). The research is conducted to three conventional banking (BNI 46, Mandiri and BRI) and three syariah banking (Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Mega Syaria and Bank Syariah Mandiri) for annual report periods 2007 to 2011. The result shows, the average increase EBIT to conventional banking groups during period 2007 to 2011 are 1.91% while the average EBIT to syariah banking groups are 1.53%. The average of ROA to conventional banking groups are 3.01% while the average ROA to syariah banking groups are 1.99%. The average of ROE to conventional banking groups is 24.19% while the average of ROE to syariah banking groups is 33.31%. The average of NIM to conventional banking groups during period 2007 to 2011 are 7.08% while the average of NIM to syariah banking groups during period 2007 to 2011 are 8.14%. The average of CAR to conventional banking groups is 15.63%, while the average of CAR to syariah banking groups during the period are 12.19%.

Dalam kaitannya dengan fungsi bank, pembiayaan merupakan fungsi yang terpenting pada bank syariah. Dimana apabila pembiayaan yang disalurkan kepada masyarakat yang semakin berkembang tentu saja juga akan berpotensi menimbulkan adanya pembiayaan bermasalah atau biasa disebut Non Performing Financed (NPF). Dengan adanya NPF, pendapatan margin yang didapatkanpun menjadi berkurang dan berakibat akan berpengaruh pada perolehan laba. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari resiko dari NPF pada pembiayaan Murabahah dan Mudharabah terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) pada bank syariah khususnya pada Bank Muamalat Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif. Untuk mengolah dan menganalisis data yang diperoleh serta membuat kesimpulan penelitian digunakan alat statistik regresi linear berganda, korelasi, determinasi dan pengujian hipotesis secara parsial dengan uji t dan secara simultan dengan uji F dengan bantuan SPSS versi 22 . Data diperoleh melalui laporan keuangan tahunan mulai dari periode tahun 2005 sampai dengan tahun 2014.Hasil analisis data atau hasil regresi menunjukan secara parsial bahwa NPF Murabahah berpengaruh terhadap ROA pada Bank Muamalat Indonesia, dan pada NPF Mudharabah dinyatakan pula berpengaruh terhadap ROA. Maka secara simultan atau secara bersama-sama juga dapat disimpulkan bahwa NPF Murabahah dan NPF Mudharabah berpengaruh terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) pada Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk. This paper examines the accounting performance of the Islamic banking among (??) commercial banks in Malaysia. A total of 18 commercial banks which include 4 Islamic banks are selected as samples covering the period of 2000 - 2006. Accounting performance is measured by the return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The objective of the study is (1) to determine whether Islamic banking performance is at par with the conventional banking and (2) to investigate whether the type (Islamic or conventional bank) and age of bank influence the performance. Result of the independence t-test of the study shows that there is no significant difference in the performance of the Islamic and the conventional banking in Malaysia although the mean score for conventional banking is higher. The regression results show that the age of banks has a positive impact on the bank performance where as none of the types of banks influence performance.

Subject. This article assesses the role of tax incentives for the Russian business' investment behavior. Objectives. The article aims to identify the relationship between the corporate income tax burden as an indicator responding to tax benefits application and the investment activities of Russian companies. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of analysis and synthesis, and the systems approach. The analysis covers the period from 2012 to 2018. The data of the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, Federal Tax Service of Russia, and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation are the source of information for analysis. Results. The article summarizes the characteristics of the investment activity of the Russian business. However, the article does not reveal any obvious relationship between the income tax burden and the investment activity of the Russian business in the 2010s. There is also no link found between fixed investment and return on assets. Conclusions. The increase in income tax burden in the late 2010s, accompanied by a decrease in profitability, poses a threat to the active investment development of Russian organizations.

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Cash Conversion Cycle and Working Capital Turnover on Return on Assets At the Consumer Goods Industry Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method used in this research is the quantitative approach. Results showed variable cash conversion cycle (CCC) and working capital turnover (WCT) simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability (Return on Total Assets). Variabel cash conversion cycle (CCC) partially not have a significant impact on profitability (Return on Total Assets) but variable working capital turnover (WCT) partially have a significant impact on profitability (Return on Total Assets) consumer goods industry issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2010-2014. Keyword : Cash Conversion Cycle, Working Capital Turnover, Return on Assets

The capital structure refers to the components of capital needed to establish and expand its business activities. The study was made with an objective to examine the determinants of capital structure of multinational and domestic companies listed in S&P BSE automobile sector. The study concluded that there is significant impact on capital structure determinants such as size, business risk, non debt shield tax, return on assets, tangibility, profit, return on capital employed and liquidity on the capital structure of multinational and domestic companies of Indian Automobile Sector.

This study aims to prove empirically the factors that affect the Timeliness of Financial Reporting. These factors are Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Company Size and Auditor Opinion as Independent Variables and Timeliness of Financial Statements as Dependent Variables.The population of this study is the Manufacturing Industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2014. The sample was determined by purposive sampling method and 66 companies were obtained. The data used are obtained from the published company financial report. The method of analysis used is logistic regression at 5% significance level.Empirical study shows that ROA has significant effect on Timeliness of Financial Reporting.
