Средневековые покаянные стихи - вид ранней русской поэтической лирики, тесно связанный с кругом богослужебных текстов. Поэтика стихов стремится к личному тону высказывания. В музыкально-стилевом отношении покаянные стихи принадлежат знаменному пению - они записывались в певческих рукописях, чаще всего подборкой на 8 гласов невменной нотацией с применением гласовых попевок знаменного распева. В 1987 году композитор Альфред Шнитке написал хоровой концертный цикл под названием «Стихи покаянные» на тексты опубликованных стихов по рукописи XVI века. В своей музыке автор пользуется тезаурусом техник XX века: заостренная хроматизмами и четвертитоновостью звуковысотность, диссонантная вертикаль, приемы сонористической фактуры. Тем не менее в композиционном решении одних и тех же стихов, в знаменной и композиторской версии, несмотря на многовековое расстояние, обнаруживаются и совпадения. Они детерминированы энергетикой молитвенного покаянного слова и конструктивными принципами организации поэтического текста. Номера хорового цикла выстраиваются в единое покаянное песнопение «высшего порядка». В интонации каяния особое место обретает и авторский голос. Покаяние как константа христианского самосознания является в конечном счете определяющей для музыкальной интерпретации данных текстов, сближая мышление средневекового распевщика и композитора конца XX века. Medieval repentance poems are a form of early Russian poetic lyrics, closely connected with the circle of liturgical texts. That poetry strives to a private discourse. In the musical and stylistic sense, repentance poems belong to the znamenny monody-they were recorded in singing manuscripts, most often by use of 8 modes with krukovaya (neume) notation. In 1987, composer Alfred Schnittke wrote a choral concert cycle entitled “Stikhi pokayannye” on the texts of published poems from a 16 -century manuscript. The author uses the thesaurus of 20 -century techniques in his music: chromatic and quarter-tone soundness, a dissonant vertical, techniques of sonoristic texture. Nevertheless, there are also coincidences in the compositional solution of the same verses, in the znamenny chant and composer version, despite a distance of several centuries. They are determined by the energy of the prayer of repentance and the constructive principles of the organization of the poetic text. The choral cycle numbers are lined up in a single repentance chant of the “highest order”. The author's voice also takes on a special place in the intonation of repentance. Repentance as a constant of Christian self-consciousness is ultimately decisive for the musical interpretation of these texts, bringing the thinking of a medieval chanter and composer of the late 20 century closer together. In Islamic law judgements on any human action are usually evaluated in terms of the intention involved. Accordingly, the rules of substantive issues have to be accommodated under the basic principles of Islamic jurisprudence. The understanding of these principles by the juristic scholar is highly rewarding because it will lead the muftī to the right path in deriving legal opinions from the original sources. The basic principle of Islamic jurisprudence, which stipulates that ‘all actions depend on intentions,’ has played an important role in the construction of Islamic jurisprudence. Moreover, this rule has a special place in the theory of Islamic legal contract. So what is the effect of intention in the validity of human actions and legal contracts? It is known that pure intention has significant effects on spiritual worship and legal contracts of transaction. It also gives guidance for earning rewards from Almighty Allah. This article concentrates on the effect of intention in perpetual worship, the concept of action and intention in Islamic legal works, the kind of contract with all its components, and the jurists' views on the effects of intention in human action and legal contract along with their discussion and counter-arguments.

This article addresses Thomas More's use of an especially complex Latin predicate, fio, as a means of examining the degree of classicism in this aspect of his writing. To this end, the main lexical-semantic and syntactic features of the verb in Classical Latin are presented, and a comparative review is made of More's use of the predicate—and also its use in texts contemporaneous to More, as well as in Late and Medieval Latin—in both prose and poetry. The analysis shows that he works within a general framework of classicism, although he introduces some of his own idiosyncrasies, these essentially relating to the meaning of the verb that he employs in a preferential way and to the variety of verbal forms that occur in his poetic text.

This present research undertakes the extensive study of horror fiction genre with reference to the select novels of one of the finest and celebrated horror fiction writers of all time, Stephen King. This paper is a substantial assessment of the select horror fiction of King. The research problem revolves extensively around the word fear. Stephen King has conjured up the images of most horrific creatures, monsters, places, and stories, and some of the most enduring villains in fiction. These unimaginable evil beings test the limits of the protagonist. Some of these villains have gone to the extent of becoming as famous (or infamous) as the writer himself. Many of Stephen King villains are monsters of the human variety such as serial killers, power hungry despots, nihilists, etc. His most memorable and monumental characters are the supernatural ones who use their dark powers to twist the orderly world around them into a special place of chaos and pain. It has been assumed that the horror elements in the fiction of Stephen King are the result of his strategic use of supernaturalist and non-supernaturalist elements. The techniques that he uses to evoke horror in reader have been treated as a site for research attention by the researcher.

The article is devoted to the consideration of a poetic text as a communicative phenomenon with a high impact potential. The author defines the features of poetic communication, which is both mass and interpersonal, and its main goal, which is the poet’s desire to communicate author’s vision of the world and thereby change the picture of the reader’s world, achieving empathy from it. Based on the understanding of the speech strategy as a cognitive communication plan, a program for generating and perceiving speech, the author talks about the fundamental reversibility of text-generating and interpretative strategies and offers own classification of strategies and tactics that are most often used in modern poetry. In this classification, the main communicative strategies of self-presentation and rapprochement with the reader are associated with auxiliary discursive strategies of actualizing, dramatizing and dialogizing the text and programming interpretations by tactics for highlighting objects and situations using sound “gestures”, pointing to the referent, framing, directly introducing the reader into the communicative context, attracting the recipient’s attention through appeals and pragmatic instructions, interrogation, and some others. Particular attention is paid to the multimodality of interactions and its specific manifestations in poetic discourse. The study is based on the material of Russian poetry of the 1980- 2000s using the methods of intent and discourse analysis.

Peter and the wolf is an intermedial work based on a folk tale originally written and composed by the Russian composer Sergey Prokofiev in 1936 (Hanson and Hanson 1964). Since few recent adaptations of the work in Afrikaans exist, a combined intermedial project was undertaken to recreate the work using practice-based research. The stages of this research method have brought forth a poetic text, the realisation of the original music, illustrations, and a voice artist to read the created text. To accomplish the final artistic product, it was important to obtain a theoretical foundation of practice-based research, intermediality, adaptation and the different media involved in the created word. The intermedial effects between the different media in the project provided the results of the study, stemming not only from the readers’ simultaneous experiences of the media as they read or listen to the work but, as it also became clear, from the mutually complementary effects between the different media of which their combination provided a richer final product.

"Utterance universalism" as a phrase is unclear, but it is enough to include the term "prophetism". As a metaphysical concept, it refers to a text written with inspiration which confirms visions of a "divine inspiration", "poetic" - "legal", that contains trace, revelation or interpretation of the origin of the creation of the world and life on earth but it warns and prospects their future in the form of a projection, literary paradigm, religious doctrine and law. Prophetic texts reformulate "toll-telling" with messages, ideas, which put forth (lat. "Utters Forth" gr. "Forthteller") hidden facts from fiction and imagination. Prometheus, gr. Prometheus (/ prəmiθprə-mee-mo means "forethought") is a Titan in Greek mythology, best known as the deity in Greek mythology who was the creator of humanity and charity of its largest, who stole fire from the mount Olympus and gave it to the mankind. Prophetic texts derive from a range of artifacts and prophetic elements, as the creative magic or the miracle of literary texts, symbolism, musicality, rhythm, images, poetic rhetoric, valence of meaning of the text, code of poetic diction that refers to either a singer in a trance or a person inspired in delirium, who believes he is sent by his God with a message to tell about events and figures that have existed, or the imaginary ancient and modern world. This article is aimed at presenting a methodology for the conceptual analysis of poetic texts based on their lexical structure using the theory of communicative stylistics. The lexical structure of the literary text is considered to be a means of aсquainting the reader with the values manifested therein. The study of values intertwined within written works is particularly significant for the development of an axiological approach to teaching the Russian language. This article proposes a method for a sequential analysis of the lexical structure of a poetic text, which can be used at Russian language lessons.

The article deals with the object of analysis of the Kazakh heroic epic literature. Heroic epic literature – stories and poems, which tells about the feats of arms of the warriors, who had extraordinary strength and protect their people from the raids of foreigners. The Kazakh epic literature originated on the basis of historical events experienced by the Kazakh people at different times. Therefore, it is a valuable monument that testifies to the heroic deeds of batyrs, fortitude, manners and customs of the Kazakh people. The works of the heroic epic literature entered the structure of Kazakh folklore as its most important component and occupy a special place in it. The peculiarity of the epic literature is that it discursive forms of thinking give way to artistic and imaginative thinking.

His role matures in young Church community, which is escapingfrom Jewish religion.Peter tramps the way from Jerusalem thru Antioch to Rome, confirming his appointing to thefirst among Apostles and to being Rock in the Church. Nascent Rome Church keeps this specialPeter’s succession. Clement, bishop of Rome, shows his prerogatives as a successor of Peter. Later,bishop of Cartagena, Cyprian, confirms special role both Peter and each bishop of Rome amongother bishops. He also was finding appropriate role for each of them. Church institution, basedon Peter and Apostles persists and shows truth of the beginnings and faithfulness to them innowadays papacy.Methodological elements Presented in the introduction let for the lecture of Gospel and patristictexts without positivistic prejudices presented in old literature of the subject.
