We are living in the time of major changes. To survive and develop the companies need to respond in time and be flexible about change. Which are very dynamic nowadays?The demands stemming from these changes have helped companies build their capital with extensive, profound and flexible skills (Salas and Kozlowski, 2010), thus creating competitive advantages in this dynamic environment. They can increase or maintain success in business only if they attract the high quality of individuals through the recruitment of young peopleManagers are always looking for staff that, in addition to having the right skills and qualifications, also possesses experience for that job as the firm intends not to invest further in various trainings whereby the costs would increase. If a company wants to be competitive in the market and reduce recruitment costs it should use more appropriate and more efficient methods depending on the workplace in order to find the right people with the right skills at the right place, also in a timely manner.

This study provides a retrospective analysis of work to ensure high quality of medical care in an unfavorable epidemic situation. The consequence of COVID-19 was the implementation of a program to prevent the spread of infection, the re-profiling of medical institu-tions, and the introduction of restrictive and anti-epidemic measures. The experience of our work has shown the effectiveness of changing the order of med-ical care, the organization of the functioning of de-partments and patient routing. The study reflects the measures implemented in the hospital departments, the Department of clinical and laboratory diagnostics, radiation diagnostics and pathology Department. To ensure the safety of patients, it was decided to place patients on a single bed according to the type of infec-tious boxes. The safety of employees was ensured by the use of personal protective equipment, minimiza-tion of contact time with patients, and preventive weekly examination of staff for SARS-CoV-2 infection. The organized and well-coordinated work of the en-tire staff of the institution made it possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among employees, to detect cases of infection in a timely manner, and to carry out appropriate isolation and monitoring measures. At the time of completion of infectious diseases departments, the mortality rate among patients was less than 9%. Our experience in reorganizing a multi-specialty facil-ity can be used in the future when working with pa-tients who have undergone COVID-19, as well as in the context of a worsening epidemic situation.

Children have the right to treatment based on the same quality of information that guides treatment in adults. Without the proper evaluation of medicinal products and devices in paediatric clinical trials that are designed to meet the rigorous standards of the competent authorities, children are discriminated from advances in medicine. There are regulatory, scientific and ethical incentives to address the knowledge gap regarding efficacy and safety of medicines in the paediatric population. High-quality clinical trials involving children of all ages can generate data that will ultimately close the knowledge gaps and support decision making.For clinical trials that enrol children, the needs are specialised and often resource intensive. Prerequisites for successful paediatric clinical trials are personnel with training in both paediatrics and neonatology and expertise in clinical trials in these populations. Moreover, national and international networks for efficient collaboration, dissemination of information, and sharing of resources and expertise are also needed, together with competent, efficient and high-quality local infrastructure with effective processes. Monitoring and oversight bodies with the relevant competence, including expertise in paediatrics, is also an important prerequisite for paediatric clinical trials. Compromise in any of these components will compromise the downstream results.This paper discusses the structures and competences needed in order to perform effective, high-quality paediatric clinical trials with the ultimate goal of better medicines and treatments for children. We propose a model of examining the process as a series of components that each has to be optimised, then all the components are actively optimised to function together as an ecosystem, and the resulting ecosystem functions well with the general research system and the healthcare delivery system.

Supply Chain Management (SCM) has proven to be an effective tool that aids companies in the development of competitive advantages. SCM Systems are relied on to manage warehouses, transportation, trade logistics and various other issues concerning the coordinated movement of products and services from suppliers to customers. Although in today’s fast paced business environment, numerous supply chain solution tools are readily available to companies, choosing the right SCM software is not an easy task. The complexity of SCM systems creates a multifaceted issue when selecting the right software, particularly in light of the speed at which technology evolves. In this chapter, we use the approach of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine which SCM software best meets the needs of a company. The AHP approach outlined in this paper can be easily transferred to the comparison of other SCM software packages.

The shared economy has been developing rapidly with low cost, low consumption and high environmental efficiency features under the background of internet waves. The shared economy model has emerged in housing, catering, and travel. As people look forward to high quality of life and their social interaction need, the shared kitchen platform arises at the right moment. This paper takes the shared kitchen as an example, focusing on the patients and their caregivers, the existing shared kitchens and its service platform as well as the space system design and human-computer interaction of the shared kitchen have been investigated and analysized. Taking the "high efficiency, the intelligence and the humanization" as the design principles, we are committed to exploring new directions for modular kitchen design under the background of shared economy.

Abstrack - Salary is a wage given to employees who have worked in a particular company or agency. Every employee who works in a company has the right to get a salary in accordance with the rules or conditions in the company. The issue of giving a salary is important because it has a huge influence on the morale of its employees. At PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, Gunung Malayu Estate, the application used for processing employee payroll data is the Microsoft Office Excel 2010 application. Then an analysis of employee salary data processing systems at PT. PP. London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk by designing programming applications using NetBeans IDE 7.2.1 with the MySQl database. So that with the application of employee payroll data processing, it will improve the quality of service to its employees, because it will save time in data processing, and save time in payroll reports.  Keywords - applications, salary systems, netbeans, mysql

The law of criminal procedure contains a number of rules with different content, which raises a number of questions in their interpretation and application. Decisions made using rules with different content lead to their appeal, often to annulment, which does not ensure the achievement of the appointment of criminal proceedings, but leads to unjustified red tape in criminal proceedings and the delay in making final decisions on them. The need to harmonize criminal procedure rules is related to ensuring high-quality and effective criminal proceedings, ensuring the protection of the rights of participants in criminal proceedings, the quality of the evidence process, both in pre-trial and judicial proceedings. The article addresses the problems of unification of criminal procedure rules containing such concepts as an investigator and urgent investigative actions. It is proposed to eliminate the contradictions in them in order to ensure their uniform application. The introduction of a single concept of investigator and refusal to use the profession of "forensic investigator" in this concept is justified, it is proposed to expand the number of participants who have the right to carry out urgent investigative actions, as well as to assign to them investigative actions carried out at the stage of initiating a criminal case.

Quality of life has very much to do with being sustainable. In a country where development and money is the means of progressing making profits, are unavoidable. But does the quest for progress hamper sustainability? Sustainability is important because it reflects a balance between freedom and power, independence and authority, rich and poor, justices and oppression. We have seen much oppression that emerges from exercising public power. Despite the formation of institution like integrity bodies, separate organizations to combat corruptions, tribunals and the like, yet public oppression never subside. Rudeness, unwillingness to treat the complainant as a person with rights; refusal to answer reasonable question; neglecting to inform complainant on request of her entitlement; knowingly giving misleading or inadequate advice; ignoring valid advice or overruling consideration which would produce an uncomfortable result for the overuler; offering no redress or manifestly disproportionate redress; showing bias on colour or whatever ground; refusing to inform adequately the right of appeal ; failure to mitigate the effect of rigid adherence to which it can produce manifestly inadequate treatment are all forms of malfeasance of the modern days. The focus of this paper thus is to look at the possible ways of combatting bad administration via judicial review of administrative action. What’s interesting is the ability of the court to tease out the complicated issues so that justice could be delivered. Justice is far-reaching if it can be exercised beyond merely the judicial scrutiny. Being able to address the lack of justice is in fact a reflection of sustainability and high quality of life.

PurposeThe rapid increase in higher education institutions (HEIs) can affect the provision of quality education especially when there are no clear integrated objectives to serve the overall HEI as well as the lack of management related to human resource needs. The quality of HEIs relies on the performance of their employees who are considered as one of the most important resources. Several studies demonstrated that the concept of talent management is not well defined for HEIs and considered it as a new study; however, researchers emphasized on its importance to improve the employees' performance and to achieve sustainable competitive advantages. The main aim of this paper is to propose a faculty equity framework for talent optimization in HEIs to help these institutions to recruit the right people, manage and motivate them to achieve their future goals and serve the best quality.Design/methodology/approachThe faculty equity framework criteria are derived from the standards of national and international quality assurance and accreditation agencies which are grouped into three categories: alignment, capabilities and engagement. These criteria are used to outrank faculties and determine the entrepreneurial champions. As the framework does not require setting weights for these criteria, the authors propose to adapt the ELECTRE IV to outrank faculties.FindingsThe proposed framework has given faculty a chance to assimilate the HEI dominant culture and guidance to improve their performance through comparing themselves to entrepreneurial champions who are better aligned, capable and engaged. Also, the framework offers the HEI an opportunity to effectively retain talents and achieve maximized outcomes.Originality/valueThis research provides HEIs with a practical guide on how to enhance practices, policies and strategies regarding their human capital in order to achieve their missions and strategic goals.

A customer-centric and pro-active staff, aligned to the basic purpose of the company, would adapt with confidence and will contribute to the creation of a structure aimed to support the continuity of the company.
