Internet of Things, also known as abbreviation IoT, is a hardware device (Raspberry Pi) that can connect to the internet with the aim of expanding the internet network connected to the hardware. The development of the Internet of things is a 4.0 technological revolution which is again the current trend. One of the uses of IoT technology is controlling room lights through an internet network that is controlled via a smartphone that can be operated remotely anywhere and anytime. But so far the control of the lights at STMIK Amik Riau is still done manually where security officers approach the swish button to turn on the lights. Therefore it is necessary to design a device that can control electronic equipment (lights) in real time. Where this study aims to build remote-controlled devices by utilizing internet technology to carry out an Internet of Things (IoT) based light control process. This research was conducted by building a prototype with python and mobile based programming applications. In this study there is a room lighting control feature with the first condition that one lamp is used to turn on a lamp and the second condition is used to turn on the lights simultaneously and coupled with camera modules to monitor the condition of the room

Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept with the aim of expanding internet network connectivity that is connected to a global network. The Internet of Things (IoT) can be used to remotely control electronic devices such as lights and air conditioners via the internet. This study aims to create a control device that utilizes internet network technology and uses the telegram application to carry out the control process. There are four control features, namely lamp control which is used to turn on one lamp, the second feature is overall lamp control to turn on all lamps at one time, the third feature controls turning on and off the AC, the fourth feature can monitor lamps and the AC is on or off . The research method used in the manufacture of this control device is the Prototype method, which is considered very suitable for use and this device uses the nodeMCU ES8266 microcontroller. The results of this study are the use of Telegram can help and facilitate users or users in monitoring and controlling lights and air conditioners when not in the house.

Internet of thing (IoT) is a concept that aims to expand the benefits of internet connectivity that is connected continuously. Internet of things (IoT) can be used in buildings to control electronic equipment such as room lights that can be operated remotely via a computer network. This study aims to build a remote control device by utilizing internet technology to carry out the mobile-based light control process. The research was conducted by building a prototype and mobile-based application using the python programming language. In this study, there is a control feature, namely one light control which is used to turn on one lamp and two controls used to turn on the lamp simultaneously.

<p class="Judul2"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p class="Judul2"><em>         Internet of Things</em> (IoT) mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat dan menjadi topik yang layak untuk diperbincangkan dan dikembangkan saat ini. IoT merupakan sebuah metode yang bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan manfaat dari konektivitas internet untuk melakukan transfer dan pemrosesan data- data atau informasi melalui sebuah jaringan internet secara nirkabel, <em>virtual</em> dan otonom. Salah satu pemanfaatan IoT adalah sistem automasi. Sistem automasi pada umumnya menggunakan pengatur waktu (<em>timer</em>) untuk proses penyiraman tanaman. Penggunaan timer bertujuan agar penyiraman tanaman berjalan secara rutin tanpa bantuan manusia.</p><p class="Judul2">         Pengembangan sistem automasi ini dimulai dengan pembuatan prototype lahan tanaman cabai rawit di lahan 5 x 2.5 meter, kemudian menyusun komponen-komponen yang dibutuhkan serta cara kerjanya. Selanjutnya dilakukan pemrograman sensor-sensor terhadap Raspberry Pi sebagai pengontrol dalam sistem tersebut berdasarkan kondisi yang telah diatur dan perubahan temperatur yang diterima oleh sensor. Setelah semua dilakukan, maka dilakukan pengujian terhadap sistem tersebut.</p><p class="Judul2">         Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, diketahui telah berhasil dilakukan penyiraman otomatis, baik secara reguler (pukul 06.00 dan 18.00) maupun penyiraman pendinginan. Pendinginan dilakukan jika suhu lebih dari 30 derajat celcius. Sistem automasi yang dikembangkan dengan uji tanaman cabai rawit menjanjikan untuk diterapkan pada pemanfaatan lahan di sekitar rumah.</p><p class="Judul2"> </p><p class="Judul2"><strong><em>Abstract</em><em></em></strong></p><p class="Abstract"><em>         Recently, The Internet of Things (IoT) has been implemented and become an interesting topic for discussion. IoT is a method that aims to maximize the benefits of Internet connectivity to transfer and process data or information through an internet network wirelessly, virtual and autonomous. One of the IoT's utilization is automation system. The automation system generally uses a timer for the plant watering process. The use of timers aims to water the plants routinely without human assistance.</em></p><p class="Abstract"><em>        The development of this automation system begins with the making of the prototype of chili land in the field 5 x 2.5 meters, then compile the required components and how it works. Further programming of sensors to Raspberry Pi as a controller in the system based on the conditions that have been set and changes in temperature received by the sensor.</em></p><p class="Judul2"><em>       As a result, the system has been successfully done automatic watering, both on a regular basis (at 06.00 and 18.00) and cooling watering. Cooling is done if the temperature exceeds more than 30 degrees Celsius. The automation system promises to be applied to the utilization of land around the house.</em></p>

In this digital age, human dependency on technology in various fields has been increasing tremendously. Torrential amounts of different electronic products are being manufactured daily for everyday use. With this advancement in the world of Internet technology, cybersecurity of software and hardware systems are now prerequisites for major business’ operations. Every technology on the market has multiple vulnerabilities that are exploited by hackers and cyber-criminals daily to manipulate data sometimes for malicious purposes. In any system, the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a fundamental component for ensuring the security of devices from digital attacks. Recognition of new developing digital threats is getting harder for existing IDS. Furthermore, advanced frameworks are required for IDS to function both efficiently and effectively. The commonly observed cyber-attacks in the business domain include minor attacks used for stealing private data. This article presents a deep learning methodology for detecting cyber-attacks on the Internet of Things using a Long Short Term Networks classifier. Our extensive experimental testing show an Accuracy of 99.09%, F1-score of 99.46%, and Recall of 99.51%, respectively. A detailed metric representing our results in tabular form was used to compare how our model was better than other state-of-the-art models in detecting cyber-attacks with proficiency.

The intelligent lighting control system is one of typical applications of the Internet of things. The method of intelligent lighting control system based on industrial wireless technology is proposed in the paper. It used proposed three-point-control technology, and adjusting the brightness of lamps, turn on/off the lamps and a part of fault detection can be realized. At the same time, it can greatly reduce the cost of system. It will be useful to engineer and researchers.

The need for electrical energy is vital because electrical equipment generally uses electricity as the main energy. Electricity is energy that comes from petroleum which must be saved in its use. To save electricity usage, it is necessary to use electricity as efficiently as possible by not allowing this energy to be wasted. This paper aims to design an application for controlling electrical equipment remotely using the internet network. This tool uses Esp8266 as a link with the internet network, and uses applications on Android as a controlling media. When esp8266 is connected to the internet network and the on / off button on the android application is pressed, the ac and fan lights will turn on or off according to the button pressed. The results of testing this remote electrical appliance controller are that the tool can work properly turning on or off the lights and fans when connected to the internet without distance restrictions.

The Directorate General of Taxation currently utilizes internet technology to improve service, one of which is by conducting an online registration of NPWP or e-Registration so that new taxpayers are easier to register anywhere and anytime. But in this case there are things that hinder the process. Based on the research there are several factors that hinder the e-Registration process, such as: (1) Data received by the Extensification Section is incomplete, (2) The internet network are often disrupted, (3) The lack of public attention to the socialization that has been carried out. Internet of things is the present technology that permits us to control hardware via the internet. Using IOT system, we can link the physical devices and possess the ability to send or transfer data over a network with either human-to-human or human-to-system interaction. This paper explains how to control home appliances using Internet of Things. The microcontroller we are using for this project is Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi is interfaced with Wi-Fi modem for transmitting and receiving commands over the internet. To switch loads, we are using relays. Once the user passes instructions over the internet to switch on the appliance, the raspberry pi processes these commands and operates accordingly. Liquid Crystal Display is used to display the status of the system. Hence, IOT based home automation setup allows us to control home appliances over the internet.
