This study discusses the factors that caused the Muna ethnic society to elope (dopofileighoo) at Muna Barat regency of Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. This research needs to be carried out because of several reasons, such as: First, the tradition of elopement (dopofileighoo) at Muna Barat regency of Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia has attracted the attention of many people, including the Muna ethnic society itself. Second, the factors that cause the Muna ethnic society to elope seem to be a very important and interesting topic to discuss. This study uses a qualitative description through the technique of interviews, observations, and document studies. The research data were analyzed descriptively, qualitatively, and interpretively. The results of the research showed that several factors that caused the Muna ethnic society to elope (dopofileighoo) tradition are as follows: (1) male's parents wanted a big party, (2) one of the male’s or the female’s parents did not approve their marriage, and (3) the female has been pregnant before the marriage party.

The study of neonatal cry signals is always an interesting topic and still researcher works interminably to develop some module to predict the actual reason for the baby cry. It is really hard to predict the reason for their cry. The main focus of this paper is to develop a Dense Convolution Neural network (DCNN) to predict the cry. The target cry signal is categorized into five class based on their sound as “Eair”, “Eh”, “Neh”, “Heh” and “Owh”. Prediction of these signals helps in the detection of infant cry reason. The audio and speech features (AS Features) were exacted using Mel-Bark frequency cepstral coefficient from the spectrogram cry signal and fed into DCNN network. The systematic DCNN architecture is modelled with modified activation layer to classify the cry signal. The cry signal is collected in different growth phase of the infants and tested in proposed DCNN architecture. The performance of the system is calculated through parameters accuracy, specificity and sensitivity are calculated. The output of proposed system yielded a balanced accuracy of 92.31%. The highest accuracy level 95.31%, highest specificity level 94.58% and highest sensitivity level 93% attain through proposed technique. From this study, it is concluded that the proposed technique is more efficient in detecting cry signal compared to the existing techniques.

A dissociative fugue occurs when an individual with dissociative amnesia wanders away from their familiar surroundings, maintaining self‑care and apparently normal behavior to observers, lasting from hours to months in a row. New identities can be assumed and even organized travel can occur. While dissociative amnesia by itself may have a prevalence of around 7.2%, dissociative fugue is a rare entity, with unknown prevalence, and there are few reports in the literature. In this article, we describe a case of dissociative fugue in a 34‑year old woman that lasted eight months. Dissociative amnesia with fugue remains an interesting topic for further research since it can present a diagnostic challenge, there are currently no evidence‑based pharmacological treatments and prognosis varies greatly between patients.

Abstract Since the vibration of a single pendulum is very periodic, measuring its period is a very interesting topic. When students are asked to measure the period of a single vibration, they start and stop the stopwatch when the pendulum reaches the top point as a reference point. In this paper, we try to show that the error can be reduced more by using the equilibrium point, that is, the bottom position as the reference rather than the top position. We think it would be beneficial for students to measure the period in both cases, compare the errors, and think about the reasons for error differences. Students believe that the moment the pendulum moved slowly and nearly stopped at the top was more likely to measure the time to be more accurate. The reason for this is that they think the pendulum will move so fast when it passes the bottom point that they will not be able to start or stop the stopwatch accurately at the instant passing the lowest point. We are also able to obtain the error of the position measurement by using the recorded video of a simple pendulum.

Religiosity studies in Indonesia is an interesting topic; however, one of the biggest challenges in studying religiosity in Indonesia is the neutrality of the researcher regardless of their attitudes toward religion. This editorial note will explore the meaning of neutrality in religiosity studies. Specifically, it emphasizes the responsibility of the researchers to understand the complexity of religion by acknowledging that religion can have a positive impact and/or negative effect on believers. Furthermore, the present note describes how studies on the psychology of religion in Indonesia can contribute to the body of knowledge not only at the local level, but also at the global context.

This study concerns with the code switching found in Cinta Laura's video on her Instagram TV. Descriptive qualitative method is used for analyzing the data from ten videos. This study used the theory proposed by Poplack (1980) about types of code switching and the theory from Hoffman (1991) about the reasons of code switching. This study shows that there are three types of code switching found and six reasons  of  code switching found. The result of this study shows that intra-sentential switching is the most frequently used in types of code switching and particular topic is  the most frequently  used in the reasons of code switching. The phenomenon of code switching occurs in many media such as social media. By doing code switching, it is easier to build a sense of solidarity rather than using only one language. Therefore, code switching is an interesting topic to discuss in sociolinguistics research.

The ancestors of Hindus in Bali had inherited Brahmawidyā texts through the manuscript of Tattva which has been familiar in the religious live. Meanwhile, the publication regarding Brahmawidyā is really limited in the area of research. Due to that reason, the research regarding Brahmawidyā in the Sanghyang Mahājñana Tattva can be an interesting topic to be analysed. This research aims to analyse Brahmawidyā in the Sanghyang Mahājñana Tattva from the aspect of Panca Sradha as the foundation of faith, and also to obtain a deeper insight on the Divinity aspect in Sanghyang Mahājñana Tattva. The method of this research is a literature study with the approach of qualitative research. This study shows that the comprehension of Brahmawidyā teachings is compulsory for Hindu. It is impossible for Sradha (faith) to be strongly persistent without adequate foundation of Brahmawidyā. This research also shows that the Divinity aspect in the Sanghyang Mahājñana Tattva is monotheism immanent.

In this paper, it is concerned with the cyclic mapping in b-metric-like spaces. The definition of W -type cyclic mappings is proposed, and then, the existence-uniqueness of the fixed points of these cyclic mappings and the corresponding fixed point theorems are studied. In b-metric-like spaces, the promotion of the concept of cyclic mapping is an interesting topic; then, it is worthy to continue to this part of the promotion. On this basis, the concept of φ -type cyclic mapping is proposed in this article, and the existence-uniqueness of fixed-point problems and the corresponding fixed-point theorem are considered and studied. The results of this paper further generalize and extend some previous results.

Abstract Mascots in Japan are called kyara. They are utilised by almost all organisations, institutions, and administrative divisions and are accepted, embraced, and consumed by people of all walks of life, making them immensely popular. Although constituting an element of Japanese popular culture, they are also embedded in certain religious spaces in Japan, making them an interesting topic of research. This article will examine the reason behind the embeddedness of kyara in certain religious spaces in Japan and their impact on the practice of religion in those spaces.
