The Directorate General of Taxation currently utilizes internet technology to improve service, one of which is by conducting an online registration of NPWP or e-Registration so that new taxpayers are easier to register anywhere and anytime. But in this case there are things that hinder the process. Based on the research there are several factors that hinder the e-Registration process, such as: (1) Data received by the Extensification Section is incomplete, (2) The internet network are often disrupted, (3) The lack of public attention to the socialization that has been carried out. The author suggests for KPP Pratama Manado to re-socializing about e-Registration, improving the quality of the socialization and improving the internet network.Keyword : E-Registration, NPWP, Taxpayers, Socialization, Public Attention, Internet Network

Internet of Things, also known as abbreviation IoT, is a hardware device (Raspberry Pi) that can connect to the internet with the aim of expanding the internet network connected to the hardware. The development of the Internet of things is a 4.0 technological revolution which is again the current trend. One of the uses of IoT technology is controlling room lights through an internet network that is controlled via a smartphone that can be operated remotely anywhere and anytime. But so far the control of the lights at STMIK Amik Riau is still done manually where security officers approach the swish button to turn on the lights. Therefore it is necessary to design a device that can control electronic equipment (lights) in real time. Where this study aims to build remote-controlled devices by utilizing internet technology to carry out an Internet of Things (IoT) based light control process. This research was conducted by building a prototype with python and mobile based programming applications. In this study there is a room lighting control feature with the first condition that one lamp is used to turn on a lamp and the second condition is used to turn on the lights simultaneously and coupled with camera modules to monitor the condition of the room

The scope of this article is to conduct research into the influence of the Internet on processes of personnel recruitment, in light of the growing number of companies seeking to attract candidates for employment onto their staff and the enormous number of professionals who currently use this technology in their search for employment or professional placement. The exponential growth of the Internet in the world is a direct result of the technological facilities inherent to its usage and the fascination exerted by the richness and reach of information available on the Web (Evans & Wurster, 2000). Evans et al. (2000) refer to a basic law of the information economy: “There is a universal trade-off between richness and reach.” (p. 23) To the authors, “richness” signifies the quality of the information de- fined by the user: accuracy, bandwidth, currentness, personalization, interactivity, relevance, security, and so forth, while “reach” signifies the number of people who share and have access to this information. In the former industrial economy, it was only possible to share extremely detailed information with a mere handful of people. The old technology did not allow the same desired degree of richness and reach to be attained simultaneously. In the labor market, the concepts propounded by these authors may be used to good advantage, adding to what they refer to as “asymmetry of information.” By applying this concept to recruiting and taking the company as the interested party, one can see how Internet technology may harmonize the ability of companies in general in their search for professionals, with the impetus of qualified professionals seeking a new position or change in profession (Zambos & Salazar, 2001).

The Internet is one result of the sophistication and advancement of science and man-made technology. Various conveniences offered, one of which is social media. But unfortunately, this sophistication has an impact on the quality of education. The worst impact in the world of education that may result from social networking sites is beginning to decrease interest in student learning. This is probably because the student's learning motivation also becomes reduced because of the importance of social networking rather than the learning achievement. To minimize the negative impact, as users we must be more intelligent. Internet savvy is how an internet user can manage and utilize internet technology wisely tailored to the needs and not violate ethical and internet codes of ethics.

PGRI University of Yogyakarta is an educational institution that uses the internet as one of the supporting facilities and infrastructures to manage and organize the data and information used by the student to find references about the lecture. PGRI University Yogyakarta has three buildings on the main campus building A building B and C buildings, where each building using wireless LAN as a means for students to use the internet network, the weakness of the wireless LAN network where poor internet network in the wireless LAN network. Thus the researchers wanted to analyze the Quality of Service wireless LAN networks in building A, building B, and C buildings, in each floor.With the existence of quality of the network at PGRI University of Yogyakarta will be done by interviews and observation methods, problems that occur in wireless LAN networks in each building have been prepared in advance, after which it will do an analysis of wireless LAN networks using quality of service parameters, namely delay, packet loss, bandwidth, throughput and factors that influence the wireless network at the University of PGRI Yogyakarta.The results of the measurement and monitoring of Quality of Service wireless LAN at PGRI University of Yogyakarta in building A, building B, C on each floor of the building can be classified in the category of poor with the average delay for each building to around 150 ms and packet loss = 28%, bandwidth = 173523 bits / s and throughput = 22%, and the factors that occurred in the signal range cannot cover every room in every building. From these results it can be concluded that the quality of the wireless LAN at the University PGRI Yogyakarta according to the TIPHON standards categorized as poor.

Internet access is necessary to ensure respect for the right to education, however, worldwide about 75% of school-age children in rural areas do not have access to the Internet at home, which makes it imperative the need for actions to reduce the digital gap to improve the quality of education in rural communities in Ecuador. This article describes the rehabilitation of an Internet network of 40 schools in the Nabón community, Ecuador. An earlier initiative implemented the Internet network, but lack of maintenance left it non-functional. With the support of the Municipality of Nabón, Motorola Foundation and IEEE SIGHT, a group of volunteers from IEEE Ecuador evaluated the state of the network to identify opportunities using the existing infrastructure. The commitment to the community, as well as the development of capacities, are at the center of the intervention to guarantee the sustainable development of the project. This document reports on the design, implementation, achievements and lessons learned from the rehabilitation of the Internet network.

When the covid-19 pandemic comes, conventional learning methods must change with online learning methods or commonly called online learning which utilizes media platforms connected to the internet network to distribute materials and communicate between teachers and learners. Even in the event of a covid-19 pandemic learning must still be carried out and cannot be abandoned. Because this kind of learning has never been practiced before, then there are difficulties or problems very potentially arise. To solve this kind of thing, a strategy is needed to solve the problem. The media used must also be considered and adjusted to the conditions of the learners. This activity aims to maintain the quality of learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Even if the learning runs in the network, the quality of learning must still be considered so that the learning runs well and is effectively accepted by learners. This research aims to find out how online learning is done by SD Plus Al Hikmah and how the methods and strategies applied to maintain the quality of online learning so that the learning carried out can run effectively.

Technology to maintain the security of the information used in this paper is a cryptography and steganography. Application cryptography to secure information on the text, then the information is hidden in digital images. So that only users who have a lock / unlock passwords only, can read the message in greeting such information.</p>

<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p><em>The internet as a data transmission backbone has security threats in sending data. To overcome the security problem of every data communication that is done through a public network (public network), then a connection is needed that requires a connection between workstations running privately, so that only workstations that have access can connect, by using a virtual private network or VPN. The advantage of a VPN is that data sent over an encrypted VPN is quite safe and the secret is maintained even through the internet network because the data sent will go through the tunnel. Tunneling itself is a method for transferring data from one network to another by using a veiled internet network. Two protocols can be chosen in a VPN, namely Point to Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) and Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP). However, the performance of each of these protocols is unknown yet. To find out the performance of the two protocols we need a test with a simulation method. Using a Mikrotik router and Wireshark application with Quality of Service (QoS) parameters consisting of Packet Loss, Delay, and Throughput on 2 clients connected to the mikrotik router and each client uses a different protocol. All clients will stream videos simultaneously to get a data packet capture. The test results will be grouped into four categories, namely bad, moderate, good and very good. It is expected that data will be able to show the quality of service of both protocols. so that it can be used as a reference in the selection of VPN protocol to be used.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>Quality of Service, PPTP, L2TP</em></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><em>Internet sebagai backbone pengiriman data memiliki ancaman keamanan dalam pengiriman data. Untuk mengatasi masalah keamanan setiap komunikasi data yang dilakukan melalui jaringan publik (public network) maka diperlukan suatu mekanisme yang memungkinkan koneksi antar workstation berjalan secara private, sehingga hanya workstation yang memiliki akses yang dapat saling terhubung, dengan cara memanfaatkan virtual private network atau VPN.</em> <em>Keuntungan VPN adalah data yang dikirimkan melalui VPN terenkripsi sehingga cukup aman dan rahasianya tetap terjaga meskipun melalui jaringan internet, karena data yang dikirim akan melalui tunnel.</em> <em>Tunneling sendiri merupakan metode untuk transfer data dari suatu jaringan ke jaringan lain dengan memanfaatkan jaringan internet secara terselubung. Terdapat dua protokol yang dapat dipilih dalam VPN yaitu Point to Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) dan Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP). Akan tetapi belum diketahui performa dari masing – masing protokol tersebut. Untuk mengetahui kinerja dari kedua protokol tersebut diperlukan sebuah pengujian dengan metode simulasi. Menggunakan router mikrotik dan aplikasi Wireshark dengan parameter Quality of Service (QoS) yang terdiri dari Packet Loss, Delay, dan Throughtput pada 2 client yang terhubung ke router mikrotik dan setiap client akan menggunakan protokol yang berbeda. Semua client akan melakukan video streaming secara bersamaan untuk mendapatkan capture paket data. Hasil pengujian akan dikelompokkan menjadi empat kategori, yaitu kategori buruk, sedang, bagus dan sangat bagus. Diharapkan akan dihasilkan sebuah data yang dapat menunjukkan kualitas dari layanan kedua protokol tersebut. sehingga dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pemilihan protokol vpn yang akan digunakan.</em></p><strong><em>Kata kunci:</em></strong><em> Quality of Service, PPTP, L2TP</em>

The rapid growth of the Internet of Things has broken people’s way of thinking and brought tremendous changes to people’s lives. For key configurations, the Internet of Things is included in the central distribution component of cloud computing, transmission networks, and sensor acceptance techniques. The future Internet of Things is similar to the human body, with different induction and cognitive fields to complete functional tasks, and is a key component of work efficiency and the creation of intelligent control systems. The laboratory is a training ground for colleges and universities to cultivate creative and commercial talents, and has a special mission of cultivating skills and training talents. In recent years, the quality of laboratory knowledge has been greatly improved, but the management model can still meet the needs of teaching, laboratory and technology opening, scientific research, and the development of new and business talents. In the future, university laboratories should learn high-quality design ideas, use Internet of Things technology, Internet technology and ARM technology to build an effective intelligent management system to understand laboratory intelligence. Therefore, this article recommends a local Web-based laboratory construction program, aimed at improving the quality of test information services, while using Internet technology in the laboratory for RFID technology, wireless sensor network and ZigBee technology. Build a common speech and open platform. Based on the comprehensive collection and indepth analysis of test data, the platform provides applications and services for collaboration, sharing and application to fully meet the needs of different users (such as educators, students, and trial administrators), and focus on monitoring And manage university laboratories.
