A Production Planning System was made for a snacks’ production Company by the development of a MRP system in order to increase the present production and to meet the demand. The methodology used was Material Requirement Planning (MRP) that basically consists in a logic system able to manage and control material requirement planning based on a number of pieces, components and material needed for manufacturing, in other words, it is a production planning system. The outcome of the Project has been an application with MRP features, with complements such as line balance, purchasing Budget of raw materials, among other things. The application relies on protection of information and backup by the same. The executable application of MRP system has contributed to reduce 50% the production breach at the company, as well as reducing waste in a 40%, idle time in a 50% and raw material costs in a 25%, achieving the stated goal.

   One strategy is to increase productivity by enhancing the company's inventory management system to support the smooth day-to-day operations, the company hopes to establish the amount of raw material inventories efficiently, besides it can reduce the undesirable things, such as: Stock material less raw, raw material stock of redundant, inefficient, disorganized inventory layout, handling errors resulting in damage to the raw materials and others. Models control conducted by PT. Cahaya Buana Intitama is currently using two techniques, namely the calculation of average calculation and the calculation of the last three months the average per period (total months of the current year) to obtain the "Purchase Plan".Keywords: productivity, raw materials, control, material requirements planning.

PT. Phapros Tbk is one of the oldest and biggest pharmaceutical company in Indonesia. As raw material inventory plays a key role to compete in this type of industry, it is important for PT. Phapros, Tbk to keep it well maintained. However, the Production Planning and Inventory Control Division, whose responsibility is planning and controlling the raw material has not implemented the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method that causes a problem regarding the overstock of captopril, the ingredient for producing captopril 25 mg tablet. There are too much raw materials ordered and ends up with higher expense. The author proposed a lotting method to develop an efficient raw material planning. Results shows that using Wagner Within Algorithm method can help the company minimizes the total expense spent by Rp 984.977.

<p>CV. Baja Utama Landasan Ulin is a business entity that manufactures various products using the basic ingredients of iron. In the management of raw materials for the production of common regulatory process raw materials into sections for further processing. This setting is often done manually without doing careful planning, so that at the end of each production process there are many remaining pieces of the raw materials that should be used in production. In addition to the determination of the production is necessary to reference how the product should be made for each type of existing products. This is often an important factor that pushed for the optimization of production planning in determining the number of products for each type of product and raw material consumption.Linear Programming is one of the methods used in production planning to regulate the use of raw materials is limited. Simplex method is part of the linear programming method that can be used in the production planning system implementation. Simplex method identifies an initial basic solution and then move systematically to other basic solution that has the potential to improve the value of the objective function.The calculation result of production planning using the simplex method can be used as a reference in the decision making production planning. By building an application using the simplex method can assist in the calculation of production peencanaan more efficiently and effectively. Accuracy testing system constructed show significant results with great value reached 94% level of accuracy.<br />Keywords: simplex, production planning, the maximum gain, linear programming</p>

This study discusses the application of the material requirements planning (MRP) method in the planning of raw materials in a furniture company. The purpose of this research is to know the planning of raw materials for furniture products in UD. AA, determine the most suitable inventory model to be applied to material inventory planning and analyze the role of the MRP system in raw material procurement planning. The forecasting method used is the quantitative method of time series analysis, determining the master production schedule, calculating lot sizing (LFL, EOQ, POQ methods). From determining the Master Production Schedule, it is found that the cabinet production plan for the next three months is 4 units per period or week, and based on the calculation of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) it can be seen what components are needed for the manufacture of cabinets, how many and when each component is required. Therefore it is obtained that the total raw material requirement for wood for the next three months is 11.34 m³.

Inventory management without Material Requirement systems in CV. Bangun Cipta Artha resulted in the lot size for each order of raw materials not optimal. One concept that can be used to plan and control raw materials is the Material Requirement Planning. This study is to determine the number of sizes of raw material orders, the exact order time, the method that produces the lowest cost for each raw material, and the effect of using MRP on inventory costs. This research conducted on 160x200cm spring bed products. Data was analyzed by making production master schedules, determining net requirements, determining lot size, and making MRP tables. Based on the results, the determination the best lot sizing is the order quantiy period which results in a total inventory cost of Rp. 26,475,220 where the total cost is lower, compared to lot for lot method which Rp. 43,464,000. part period balancing Rp. 33,106,576, and conventional method Rp.49,472,912. Production planning and control in a manufacturing company involves all production activities from raw material requirements to finished products. The Jakarta Automotive Components Industry is engaged in manufacturing which produces leaf spring products that are sent to several regular customers, namely the Automotive Assembly Industry. Leaf spring Hino OW 190/200 is the type of spring ordered and shipped to PT. HMMI. Based on data for the January-December 2019 period, the demand for Hino OW 190/200 leaf spring has fluctuated quite significantly. The purpose of this study was to plan and control the production process of Leaf Spring Hino OW 190/200. Forecasting for the next 12 periods is based on demand plots from the previous 12 periods, calculating the Aggregate production plan, determining the Master Production Schedule (MPS), calculating raw material requirements using the Hybrid and Lot for Lot methods. The results showed that to support the smooth production, it can be seen that the production planning for forecasting calculations using the Linear Regression method generates a model Y=319,575+3,723X. Calculation of the need for main raw materials and components in 2020 uses the Hybrid and Lot for Lot method, which is 256,182.88 kg, much smaller than the company's calculations based on 2019 data, namely 259,827.40 kg.

Introduction: Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is a technique or a logical procedure to translate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) of the finished goods or end item into the net requirements for some of the components needed to implement the MPS. MRP is used to determine the amount of material needs to support the Master Production Schedule and when the material needs to be scheduled.Methods: The study is conducted on 13 August 2018 until 12 September 2018 at the installation Nutrition RSIA Kendangsari Merr Surabaya. Collecting data in this study using several methods, including: observation- This stage is conducted in all parts related to the object of study, starting from the Purchase Order (PO) by a head cook up to raw material stored in the storage, discussion- author interviews and collects data to communicate and discuss with the respondents. Respondents in this study are the head of the nutrition unit and head cook of RSIA who have the authority doing the purchasing.Results: Planning of procurement of raw materials to the menu rawon in RSIA can use the Exponential Smoothing method. The discussion has compared two methods of forecasting and the results are consistent with the demand’s patterns of Simple Moving Average method, Exponential Smothing. Forecasting has the lowest error rate by using Exponential Smoothing. The second conclusion is a technique of determining the appropriate Material Requirement Planning in raw material procurement to menu rawon in RSIA is using Lot for Lot.


The purpose of this study is to determine the most appropriate forecasting to predict the demand for raw materials of laundry in 2017, determine the results of the Material Requirement Planning calculation using lot permits, and to determine the total cost-efficiency of the conventional calculation method with the Material Requirement Planning method. The research method used is quantitative research, descriptive research type, and time horizon is cross-sectional for all data collection. This study uses Exponential smoothing (QM for Windows) forecasting, as an illustration, to determine the number of raw material requirements by using the analysis method, Material Requirement Planning with lot sizing measurements used are Lot for Lot, Economic Order Quantity, and Period Order Quantity. Of the three methods, the analysis results illustrate that the Lot for Lot method produces the lowest total cost of IDR. 56,160,000, compared to the total costs incurred using the company's conventional method of IDR. 175,985,288,2, So, the Material Requirement Planning method can reduce the company's inventory costs

The purpose of this study is to determine the results of Raw Material Inventory Control evaluation with Material Requirement Planning method in May 2014, so the company Home Industry Sarana Bersih " Lima "can minimize inventory costs. Analysis tool used is a method of inventory control with materials requirement planning (MRP) engineering approach. MRP method is a mathematical method or technique that is used to assist managers in making decisions regarding the amount of inventory, production planning schedule, the schedule ordering, and inventory costs. Based on the analysis by using the method of Material Requirement Planning it can be seen that the results of the cost incurred by the company on the stock in May is 1.220.000 rupiah. There are savings of 293.400 rupiah of the total cost of 1.513.400 rupiah.Keywords: Inventory, Inventory control, Material Requirement Planning.
