This qualitative research aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of online learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic. In general, the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic positively impacts the continuity of education in Indonesia. This research method is obtained from online observations and Scoping reviews. Literature is obtained from various databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, Crossref Search. Furthermore, the literature was mapped in several parts so that 40 appropriate literature was obtained and could be used regarding teaching and learning activities in schools and the higher education environment. The study results show that online learning is currently considered adequate to replace conventional learning, but several factors related to the implementation of learning must be considered.

The purposes of this research are analyze the effectiveness of online learning strategies used during teaching and learning activities and analyze the obstacles experienced during online teaching and learning activities. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research. Qualitative research is a research that is descriptive and describes the object of research/events studied and using analysis. The research results were obtained through extracting data through interview, observation, and documentation. Some data will be loaded in the form of diagram to show the research results obtained. The conclusion obtained is that this research is a descriptive qualitative research which aims to describe the learning strategies at Muhammadiyah 10 Junior High School Sidoarjo in English subject during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This research examines various aspects, including: student learning activities, problems during learning, to learning solutions at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the research process using data collection techniques by means of interview, observation, photos and videos when the research process was carried out. This study aims to obtain information regarding the strategies being carried out at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong in learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the teaching and learning process now being shifted to online learning. Online learning is a solution to solving educational problems due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. The offline method is also applied through face-to-face learning and continues to carry out obligations by complying with health protocols. Such is the learning conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong. By using the online method and the offline method which is applied at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong amidst the current learning problems with the state of Indonesia affected by Covid-19.

The aims of the study were to investigate English teachers’ questioning strategies at one Madrasah in Palembang, South Sumatera. The qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed to look at the ways of the English teachers’ questioning strategies in the processes of teaching and learning and the reasons that made them use certain questioning strategies. The participants in this study were English teachers. We used observation and interviews as our data collection techniques. The observation was used to look at the teacher’s questioning types used in the daily practices of teaching in the EFL classroom while the interview was used to understand the reasons that made them use those types of questioning strategies. Our findings showed three types of teacher’s questioning strategies used by teachers in their teaching and learning processes including convergent, divergent, and procedural questions. Teachers mostly used convergent questions (yes/no and short answers). We also found five reasons why teachers preferred to those types of questioning strategies including recalling students’ understanding, attracting students’ attention, increasing students’ thinking in higher order level, and engaging students in learning activities. Implications and recommendations are also discussed.

The aim of this research is to describe the process of improving the students’ listening skill and vocabulary mastery through contextual teaching and learning (CTL) by using online learning at the eleventh grade of SMAN 1 Sajira. This study also attempts to find out the improvement of the students’ skill in listening and vocabulary mastery through contextual teaching and learning (CTL) by using online learning. The method used in this research was qualitative research method by implementing classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in three cycles actions in cycle I, cycle 2 and cycle 3. The result of the research is the use of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) by using online learning can improve the students’ listening skill and vocabulary mastery. The finding of the research are (1) the process of teaching and learning using CTL through online learning is conducted successfully in terms of the feeling of happiness and enthusiasm of the students, (2) there is an improvement of the students’ listening skill from 57.85 in pre-test became 81.11 in post-test. This study proves that English teacher can improve students’ listening and vocabulary mastery by optimizing the use of materials at school, and be creative in selecting, developing, and giving materials at class.

Technology has grown speedily so that people can access the internet and also can communicate with others easily. By means the development of technology, many people use it not only as a communication tool but also for the implementation in the educational world in regard students learn to use computers and all things about technology. Furthermore, students and teacher can also do teaching and learning activities online, Google Classroom, as one of the online learning platforms that applied at SMP YPM 7 Sidoarjo. Based on the background of the study, the purpose of the study focuses to discribe How is the implementation of e-learning by using google classroom at SMP YPM 7 Sidoarjo and what the students’ perception. In order to answer the two formulated research questions, there are two types of instruments in this research. Those obtained from document google classroom and questionnaire. This is a qualitative research design the writer describe the data briefly. This research conducted under the assumptions there are various perceptions towards the implementation of google classroom as E-learning at SMP YPM 7 Sidoarjo. Whereas, the result of the questionnaire explain about the Perception of the student, the instrument showed  that the student’s majority had a positive Perspection. The conclusion in this research is there is neccesity to elaborate some suggestions regarding google classroom as e-learning the The teacher should be more explore application of google classroom it self.

This study adopted a discursive approach to review the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) popularly known as 'Moodle’ in most South African universities. Moodle as fondly called is one of the online tools that can be effectively used to deliver learning activities as well as online learning assessments to implement curriculum delivery without borders or disruptions during the COVID-19 lockdown across the globe. The author highlights various extant studies on the usage and adoption of LMS into teaching and learning for effective implementation in higher institutions of learning. LMS is a global online tool that has been in use for decades in various higher institutions of learning across the developed countries. It has proved to be an efficient learning platform that has impacted significantly the education sector in these developed countries, as learning experiences are provided to diverse students at their comfort zones. With the break of the COVID-19 pandemic that affects the global world, teaching and learning in most parts of the developed countries continue to be facilitated through various online approaches that include LMS in the developed countries. Unfortunately, the pandemic lockdown in many developing countries like South Africa grossly impacted the delivery of curriculum and educational activities in various learning institutions for several months. The continuous presence of COVID-19 led the South African Department of Higher Education and Training to review approaches to curriculum delivery to salvage academic activities. Thus, declared online learning as an alternative to face-to-face curriculum delivery in higher institutions. The adoption of LMS results as the best approach to engage students in full teaching and learning activities.

Gamification is considered by many scholars to be an effective tool for engaging individuals in teaching and learning process, organizational task, business environment, and other recreational activities. However, some students and tutors of various institutions of learning across the globe lack clear understanding on how gamification applications positively affect teaching and learning via intrinsic and extrinsic motivations. Despites all its potential benefits as suggested by prior literatures with regards to flexibility and externalization of learning process, yet some colleges and universities are not fully convinced that use of gamification elements motivate students to engage more on their learning activities which in turns change attitudes and behaviours. Hence, the need for study to extract these motivational effects of gamifications applications from the existing body of knowledge. Therefore, this study utilized some of the comprehensive databases such as ScienceDirect, Web of science, IEEE Xplore, and SpringerLink, with the aims of identifying, extracting, analyzing and highlighting the motivational effects of gamification systems in education. Out of the articles discovered, 37 were fully read and analyzed. The study results highlight the motivational effects of gamification applications in education, and found badges, levels, feedbacks, points, and leader-board to be the most pleasant elements of gamification applications that motivate individuals, as they increase participation and engagement in learning process. Finally, the study suggests area of future work.

The Covid-19 virus epidemic that hit Indonesia had an impact on policies in changing creative, adaptive and innovative teaching and learning processes. In preventing the spread of the covid-19 virus, the Indonesian government closed schools and universities for a while. Campus management conducts health protocols without reducing teaching and learning process between students and lecturers. One of the activities carried out on campus is by conducting online or online classes using various applications such as zoom and E-learning. This research method is done by qualitative methods. Data obtained by conducting a survey of 50 Indonesian Business Polytechnic students online. The purpose of this research is to get information about problems and obstacles faced by students when conducting the online learning process. This research is expected to be able to provide input for higher education institutions in managing and providing policies during the Covid-19 pandemic

The purpose of this article is to analyze the learning media and technology in the Z and Alpha generation teaching and learning activities. This study departs from the author's observation of the current condition of teachers, where educators get a difficulty in teaching students of generation Z and Alpha as described in this article. The problems that found by the author are still very diverse, but it should be noted that there is no room for educators to make excuses and do not use technology as a medium of learning. The method that used is a qualitative research method, the author examines Learning Media and Technology: Generation Z and Alpha. The analysis process carried out by the author is to use a variety of reliable literature and electronic sources to support the author's analysis. The results of this study found that this technology media can uniform the perceptions of student learning, smooth interactive, streamline the teaching and learning process, foster positive attitudes in learning and answer the challenges that exist in the digital era. So by finding the answer to this analysis, the gap between educators and students can be resolved properly.

The purpose of this research is to build a model of e-learning for higher education in order to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities. The research method is analyzing the process of learning activities in several universities as a basis for creating a dynamic model of comprehensive e-learning so as to meet the needs of students, lecturers and all parties concerned. In analyzing the teaching-learning process observations at several campuses are conducted to study existing processes and activities. The results are a model of e-learning that can be used by universities in building and developing e-learning applications that already exist.
