Data obtained by using questionnaires and result was tested with Spearman Rank test using computer software with a significance p=0.05. Statistical test results showed r = 0.443, it shows the null hypothesis was rejected so that there was a weak relationship between motivation and work performance AKPER Adi Husada Surabaya ex-students who worked at the hospital Adi Husada Undaan Wetan Surabaya. So motivation factor was not the main factor that causes an increase in performance, but the entire internal and external factors greatly affect the performance of individual nurses. Expected nurses can improve motivation and other factors related to the performance becomes more optimized and can improve the quality of nursing care. Faktor motivasi kerja bukan faktor utama yang menyebabkan peningkatan kinerja namun seluruh faktor internal maupun ekternal individu sangat mempengaruhi kinerja perawat. Introduction: Nurses are the first healthcare professionals who meet patients who attempt suicide, and their attitudes toward these patients may be important. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of demographic factors on nurses’ attitudes toward patients who attempt suicide and the quality of nursing care that these patients receive.Materials and Methods: This descriptive-correlational study was performed using the convenience sampling method on 182 nurses working at selected hospitals of medical universities in Tehran, Iran. Data were collected using questionnaires that gathered information about demographics, nurses’ attitudes toward patients who attempted suicide, and the quality of nursing care provided. Data were analyzed by the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences v.20 software and by the Pearson test and t-tests.Results: Regarding social and mental aspects, we found no significant statistical relationship between age and work experience with respect to nurses’ attitudes toward and the quality of care provided to patients who attempted suicide, but women provided higher-quality nursing care than men (P=0.046). Although the relationship between education and quality of nursing care was statistically significant (P=0.007), we found no significant relationship between education and attitude. Conclusion: We found no significant relationship between age and work experience with respect to nurses’ attitudes toward, and the quality of care provided to, patients who attempted suicide, but women provided higher-quality nursing care than men. Furthermore, quality of care was higher from nurses who had a bachelor-level education, suggesting that higher-educated nurses should be recruited to care for critical patients.

The development of science and technology that continues to progress, especially in the health sector requires changes in terms of service so that in providing more professional services in hospitals, nursing care must be of high quality. Nursing Law Number 38 of 2014 Article 3B states that nursing arrangements aim to improve the quality of nursing services, therefore the provision of quality nursing services is important in today's health services. The model of professional nursing care is divided into several models, namely primary, team and case nursing. Based on the results of a survey of research journals, the researchers concluded that there was no research that compared the professional nursing care team model with primary nursing in improving the quality of nursing care. The purpose of this study was to identify the use of the professional nursing care team model with the primary nursing model in improving the quality of nursing care. This type of research is a quantitative research type with a comparative design. The population in this study were all patients at the Inpatient Hospital where the study was conducted. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Data collection on the quality of nursing care used a quality scale patient assessment instrument – the acute care version (PAQS-ACV). This instrument was developed to assess the quality of nursing care. Data analysis in this study used an independent t-test. normality test using the Kolmorogov-Smirnov test with a significance value (p > 0.05). The results showed that there was a significant difference between the quality of nursing care in the team group and the quality of nursing care in the primary nursing group where the value of sig (2-tailed) was 0.008 where > 0.05, the results also showed that based on the results of the frequency distribution test the quality of nursing care was using the team model and the primary nursing model has a high majority value of nursing care quality, but there is a difference in the average value (mean) where the quality of nursing care in the nursing care model group in the team method group is 144.86 and the quality of nursing care in the primary nursing model group is 155.83. These results indicate that the quality of nursing care with the primary nursing model has a higher quality of care value than the group nursing care model with the team method. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that hospitals can apply a professional nursing practice model, especially the primary nursing model to further improve the quality of nursing care provided.

Background Providing quality care is of the fundamental elements of holistic nursing practice, and burnout and moral intelligence of nurses be mentioned as the important factors influencing the quality of nursing care. The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between moral intelligence, burnout, and the quality of nursing care. Methods This descriptive-correlative study was conducted on 125 nurses working in Sari-based Educational hospitals affiliated to Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, Iran, between June and August 2020. The sample was selected via random sampling. The data were collected by the Maslach Burnout Inventory, Lennick and Kiel Moral Intelligence Scale, and Quality of Patient Care Scale. The data were analyzed by SPSS-21 and Amos-24. Results A direct and significant relationship was found between the quality of nursing care and moral intelligence ( r = 0.285, p = 0.001). Quality of care had an inverse relationship with subscales of frequency of burnout including emotional exhaustion ( r = −0.369, p < 0.001) and depersonalization ( r = −0.471, p < 0.001) and also, a direct relationship with personal accomplishment ( r = 0.226, p = 0.011). The findings also showed an inverse relationship between quality of care and subscales of the intensity of burnout. Amos software yielded results that demonstrated moral intelligence as a robust mediator between burnout and the quality of care. Conclusion The findings implied the necessity for more attention to moral intelligence as a mediator in order to come up with properly managing the personality traits influencing the nurses’ burnout reduction, which can ultimately lead to improved quality of nursing care.
