Anemia is a disease caused by the body's lack of iron nutrients, particularly in the formation of hemoglobin. The National Institute of Health, a 2011 case in which teenage girls are suffering from anemia (10 to 19 years old). In the case of anemia where HB does not reach the baseline, it can cause stress and persistent fatigue in the body's organs and can be inhibited activities and decreased of academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of nutrition education for students by providing printed media and audio-visual media relating with anemia, such as impact to knowledge, attitudes and behaviors. The method used by author in this study is some literatures related subject of this study. The result of the study will help the readers and health workers to know and able to make nutrition education plan about anemia for teenage girls by using printed media and audio-visual media. ABSTRAK Anemia adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan asupan zat gizi besi didalam tubuh, di mana hal ini sangat berperan dalam membentuk hemoglobin. Remaja putri (10-19 tahun) merupakan salah satu kelompok yang sangat rawan mengalami anemia (National Institute of Health, 2011). Dalam kasus anemia, apabila kandungan Hb tidak mencapai batas normal dapat menyebabkan komplikasi seperti stres dan kelelahan yang berkelanjutan sehingga dapat menimbulkan rasa lelah, letih dan lesu pada organ tubuh dan mengganggu aktifitas serta mengakibatkan penurunan prestasi belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pendidikan gizi dengan menggunakan media cetak dan media audio-visual pada siswa terkait pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku mengenai anemia. Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam kajian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan beberapa literatur yang berkaitan dengan judul kajian ini. Hasil dan pembahasan kajian ini akan membantu pembaca serta tenaga kesehatan dalam membuat perencanaan edukasi gizi kepada remaja putri mengenai anemia menggunakan media cetak dan media audio-visual.

Anemia is a clinical condition of reducing the quality of red blood cells. In circulation that is marked by low hemoglobin levels in the blood. The impact of anemia on iron nutrition results in a pale, weak, tired, dizzy, and decreased concentration of learning. Other causes: the level of knowledge of adolescent girls and the length of menstruation. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of class XI knowledge about the effects of anemia on reproductive health in SMA 6 Medan 2019. This research is descriptive using primary and secondary data. The populations in this study were 30 teenage girls in SMA 6 Medan as many as in-class XI IPA I. The sampling technique of this study was using purposive sampling technique. The sample of this study was 30 students. The results of this study indicate that the majority of people who lack knowledge are 16 people (54%) and the minority of people who have good knowledge is 4 people (13%). The study conclusion is that the majority of female student’s knowledge about the effects of anemia on reproductive health is lacking. For the school and adolescents, it is hoped that they will increase their knowledge by came and working with health workers to promote health about the effect of anemia on reproductive health.

Background: Covid - 19 is a disease that has a high virulence so it is easily transmitted, even now it has become a pandemic. Because the impact is mainly for people who have comorbid and also the mortality rate in patients and misleading media, so many people who give stigma to patients and their families. The stigma given to patients suffering from Covid-19 is thought to have a significant impact on the patient. Purpose: Aim of this study to analyze the impact of stigma on patients with Covid-19 Methods: the method used in writing this article is literature review. By using the google scholar search engine, Pubmed, DOAJ, Science Dirrect, Research Gate, with the keywords Covid, impact and Stigma, in 2020, the articles that meet the criteria are 6 articles. Results: Based on the existing analysis, it was found that stigma, both internal stigma and external stigma can affect the mental health of patients with co-19, in addition to other impacts also caused among them are socioeconomic problems Conclusion: It is recommended for health workers to provide mental health support for patients with Covid-19, in addition it is also necessary to have a policy that minimizes the negative impact caused

Background: The SARS-Cov-2 pandemic has presented numerous challenges to health systems. Exposure to stress scenarios by frontline workers has generated the exhaustion of this group as a response. Consequently, there was an increase in the incidence of Burnout Syndrome (BS) amongst these professionals. Objectives: Analysis of the correlation between BS in the healthcare professionals and the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic. Design and setting: Narrative literature review conducted by Centro Universitário de Mineiros, Campus Trindade. Methods: Articles selected from the PubMed and Scielo database between 2020 and 2021, with the descriptors “Burnout” AND “SARS-CoV-2”. 9 articles were analyzed. Results: The quantitative study carried out by the Jornal Brasileiro de Psiquiatria with 94 nursing technicians working in the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic indicated that 25% had BS (p ≤ 0.25). Another study carried out by the same magazine identified health problems as impaired mental health workers. The study was carried out with 123 professionals, using scores from the Self-Reporting Questionnaire, in which approximately 45% had a score compatible with BS (p <0.05). Amongst the causalities, the professionals’ lack of emotional preparation, extended shifts, limited resources, lack of access to updated information, disturbed sleep patterns, anxiety and depression stood out. The increase in these stressors during the pandemic exposed professionals to a greater risk of developing Burnout Conclusions: This study suggests a strong association between the SARSCov-2 pandemic and the development of BS among health professionals, emphasizing the importance of measures to minimize the impact on these professionals’ mental health.

Background The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic covers all aspects of life, one of which is food security (Masniadi, Angkasa, Karmeli, Esabella, 2019). The number of malnutrition especially among mothers and children globally during the pandemic is increasing. Pandemics can increase poverty, cut food supply chains and malfunction in nutrition education programs for the community (Akseer, Kandru, Keats, Bhutta, 2020). The effects of the pandemic also have an impact on the nutritional adequacy of mothers and children (including infants and toddlers) in Indonesia. The availability of household food, limited access and affordability of healthy food ingredients are the three main problems in the scope of fulfilling nutrition during the pandemic in Indonesia (Unicef Indonesia, 2020). The method in this research is literature review, the journals used in the literature review are obtained through a database of international journal providers such as Google Scholar, Pubmed, and Proquest. Researchers write the appropriate keywords, namely food security and pandemic. The year limit used is 10 years, namely 2010 to 2020. Results and discussion of online surveys show that 36% of respondents “often reduce” their food portions due to financial problems, of course this will affect the nutritional status of the family, especially children and mothers (Unicef Indonesia, 2020). However, regional research in one district shows that the nutritional status of children aged 3 - 5 years is not affected by this pandemic. Although data on the mapping of the impact of a pandemic on nutritional status is still limited, it is hoped that the community will be able to maintain family nutrition adequacy with various household-based efforts that can be implemented effectively and efficiently. Keywords: Food Security, Nutrition, Pandemic Period

BACKGROUND Inadequate diets and life-threatening infections have profound adverse implications for child growth, development and survival, particularly among indigenous peoples. Evidence of the effectiveness of community-based nutrition education interventions in improving child feeding and nutrition outcomes among indigenous Mbororo population in Cameroon is scare. OBJECTIVE This study aims at investigating the impact of culturally-tailored community-based nutrition education intervention (Nu-WASHE) on caregivers’ knowledge, attitude and practice regarding complementary feeding, and nutrition outcomes of indigenous Mbororo children (3-59 months) in the Foumban and Galim health districts of the West region of Cameroon. METHODS A two-arm cluster randomized controlled trial will be conducted in the Foumban Health District and Galim Health District. The intervention and control arms will each comprise of 5 clusters with 121 child-caregiver pairs. Participants in the intervention arm will be organized into 5 caregivers’ peer-support platforms. A total of 12 educational sessions will be delivered to the intervention group by trained female Mbororo nutrition volunteers (6), and community health workers (6). The control arm will receive routine facility-based nutrition education. Data will be collected at 3 months and 6 months follow-up. Both descriptive statistics and multivariate logistic models will be used to estimate the effect of Nu-WASHE (independent variable) on outcome variables (caregivers’ knowledge, attitude and practice); child growth (weight, height/length, weight-for-age); and morbidity status (diarrhea, cough and fever) between both arms. Data assessors will be blinded to the group allocation. An approval (ref: 2019/1002-07/UB/SG/IRB/FHS) was obtained from the Faculty of Health Sciences-Institutional Review Board of the University of Buea. RESULTS Baseline data was collected in September 2019. In February 2020, 10 Mbororo communities (clusters) with 242 child-caregiver pairs were selected and allocated to the experimental and control arm in a 1:1 ratio. Community nutrition volunteers (6) and community health workers (6) were selected and trained. Data collection and analysis are ongoing, and statistical results will be available by the end of December 2020. CONCLUSIONS The findings of this study will provide evidence on the impact of culturally-tailored and Health belief model-based nutrition education for behavior change as a complementary strategy for strengthening health facility-based approaches to the reduction of malnutrition burden among the study population. CLINICALTRIAL The protocol was submitted to the Wealth Health Organization Pan Africa Clinical Trial Registry in South Africa for review. Feedback is still being awaited. Intake of vitamins A, C, and E was evaluated and age and time trends were assessed on the basis of 3-day weighed dietary records (n = 5121) of 2- to 18-year old boys (n = 417) and girls (n = 425) enrolled in the DONALD Study (Dortmund Nutritional and Anthropometric Longitudinally Designed Study) 1986–2001. Intake of vitamin A remains stable over time, intake of vitamin C increases linearly, and intake of vitamin E follows a nonlinear trend. Age trends of vitamins A and C (per MJ) were nonlinear with a minimum at the beginning adolescence, while intake of vitamin E (per MJ) increased linearly. Girls had higher nutrient densities but lower intakes expressed as percent of reference values. Fortified food in total had a higher impact on time trends of nutrient intake than other single food groups defined here. Our results point to the impact of the food industry on long-term nutrient intake, but also underline the necessity of nutrition education even in young age groups to improve vitamin intake.

Background: While the ultimate goal of adolescent suicide-prevention efforts is to decrease the incidence of death by suicide, a critical intermediary goal is directing youths toward effective sources of assistance. Aim: To comprehensively review the universal prevention literature and examine the effects of universal prevention programs on student’s attitudes and behaviors related to help-seeking. Method: We systematically reviewed studies that assessed help-seeking outcomes including prevention efforts utilizing (1) psychoeducational curricula, (2) gatekeeper training, and (3) public service messaging directed at youths. Of the studies reviewed, 17 studies evaluated the help-seeking outcomes. These studies were identified through a range of sources (e.g., searching online databases, examining references of published articles on suicide prevention). Results: The results of this review suggest that suicide-prevention programming has a limited impact on help-seeking behavior. Although there was some evidence that suicide-prevention programs had a positive impact on students’ help-seeking attitudes and behaviors, there was also evidence of no effects or iatrogenic effects. Sex and risk status were moderators of program effects on students help-seeking. Conclusions: Caution is warranted when considering which suicidal prevention interventions best optimize the intended goals. The impact on adolescents’ help-seeking behavior is a key concern for educators and mental-health professionals.

Introduction. The activities of health workers are associated with the impact of many harmful factors that lead to loss of health. Compared with other professional groups, health care workers are ill longer and harder, which may be due to polymorbidity pathology.The aim of the study based on the survey data to study the representation of health workers about working conditions and to identify their impact on the formation of occupational diseases.Materials and methods. In order to get a real idea of the attitude of medical workers to their working conditions in 2018, an anonymous survey was conducted of 1129 doctors and 776 employees of secondary and junior medical personnel working in health care institutions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Vologda and Orel.Results. Research of working conditions and health of physicians allowed to establish that work in medical institutions imposes considerable requirements to an organism of working, its physical condition and endurance, volume of operational and long-term memory, ability to resist to mental, moral and ethical overloads.Conclusions: The most important method of combating the development of occupational diseases is their prevention. Organizational and preventive measures should be aimed primarily at monitoring the working conditions and health of medical staff .
