Nowadays, the use of information technology becomes a new business model in which consumers are more open to demand their needs and take over the decision of the ideal product. However, farmers as the producers of agriculture commodities seem to be reluctant to using information technology in selling their products. The study aims to examine the effect of the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of information technology towards the attitude of using information technology in pepper farmers’ marketing practices through the technology acceptance model. The study used face-to-face data collection and a structured questionnaire to obtain the primary data from 100 pepper farmers in Bangka Tengah and Bangka Selatan. The finding of the study shows that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use affect significantly the attitude of using information technology among the pepper farmers in marketing practices. The results will be useful for the government and NGO to provide tools on how to disseminate the technology to potential users.

The use of information technology is spreading in the construction field. However, the use of information technology in the construction field does not conform to the requirements and characteristics of users who use information technology. This fact is blindly accepted by the government and client demands, which is an impediment to the dissemination of information technology in the construction field. To improve the use of information technology in the construction field, this study analyzes the factors of acceptance of information technology according to the characteristics of users who use information technology in the construction field based on Davis’ technology acceptance model. As a result of the analysis, we found that if users consider IT in the construction industry easy to use, spontaneous attitude and behavioral intention are to be expected. Moreover, acceptance type, educational satisfaction, usage enjoyment, and usage experience are the factors that impact perceived usefulness, and educational satisfaction and usage enjoyment impact perceived ease of use as well. This study aims to derive factors that maximize the approachability and usefulness of users through the use of a technology acceptance model in construction prior to the application of new information technology in the construction field.

The economic growth in the agriculture sector contributes to the income of the Bangka Belitung Island Province. In the few decades, pepper production in Indonesia retains its position as one of the biggest producers in the world. However, pepper production in the province goes down. Consequently, the income of pepper farmers reduces. Understanding the farmers' demographic and their perception of the technology acceptance model will help policymakers provide the best empowerment program and agricultural support program to uplift their welfare. The study aims to understand the socio-economic profile and the perception of pepper farmers towards the technology acceptance model using information technology in pepper farming activity. The data collection process was conducted from August to November 2019. Structured questionnaires and face-to-face data collection methods were applied to earn the primary data from 100 pepper smallholders in Bangka Tengah and Bangka Selatan, Bangka Belitung Island Province. Descriptive analysis was used to identify the respondents' profiles and explain their skills and awareness to adopt information technology in their farming activity. The study revealed that most of the pepper farmers were in the average age of 45 years old, held elementary school level, received income of about 5.7 million, was experienced farmers with 20 years of pepper farming activity, and had about 2.1 – 5 ha of land area. The majority of the pepper smallholders offered low scores to the proportion of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Tech-friendliness in this new era is an important quotient considered and the persons’ acceptance towards the technology frequency matters a lot. But still the frequency varies from person to person, this brought in the concept of Technology Acceptance Model given by Fred Davis in 1989. The theory of TAM is based on two theories that are Theory of Reasoned Action and Theory of Planned Behavior, TAM is extended version of these two. Green Banking is a new technology introduced by the banks that focuses on the growth of Sustainable development and Banking system too. Thus, banks ask their customers to use it or practice it in their daily life transactions. But every customer has their own point of view on the usage of Green banking. Thus, the research aims to understand the customers’ perception towards the Green Banking for this TAM is used. The research states that Perceived risk is the primary factor that is followed by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that impacts the decision to use green banking. Thus, the behavioral intention results in actual use of green banking usage for which people are trying to accept the new technology. So, the banks have earned points for creating awareness among their customers but still they have to work hard and clarify their customers’ problems and vanish that hitch that is stopping them to use green banking easily.

The e-commerce industry has the potential to be one of the drivers of the domestic economy. One of the impacts of the advancement of e-commerce is the emergence of many online-based marketplaces or so-called e-marketplaces. However, a lot of these online marketplaces sell 90% imported products. In addition, the outbreak of Covid-19 in Indonesia has prompted the government to establish several policies that have significantly reduced MSME performance by up to 70-100%. This study aimed to provide an empirical analysis of the influence of factors based on the Technology of Acceptance Model (TAM) approach, namely e-marketplace self-efficacy, complexity, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude towards using, behavioral intention to use, and actual technology use in e-marketplaces. The sample consisted of MSMEs in East Java, especially those engaged in the food and beverage industry sector with ready-to-eat processed food products whose business activities use the Shopee e-marketplace application platform. This is an online shopping marketplace focused on mobile platforms. There were 150 respondents. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used. E-marketplace self-efficacy, complexity, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude towards using, behavioral intention to use, and actual technology use in e-marketplaces all had positive effects on each other. This showed that a system that offers convenience will improve behavior, habits, and performance for MSMEs in using e-marketplace activities. The theoretical and methodological implications and opportunities for further research are discussed. Keywords: MSMEs, e-marketplace, technology acceptance model
