The purpose of this study was to analyze the students’ error in using past continues tense. The specific objectives were to analyze kinds of error made by the students, to analyze the dominant kind of the students’ error and further more to found out their probably causes. In analyzing data, the writer were giving test to the students to measure the students’ results of their ability and analyze their cases in their study on using past continues tense. The writer took points in every student works, counted it and analyzed. This study were using quantitative descriptive research, in which include counted on analyzed and present the result of study by described on concluding it. The data took from the population of the second grade of SMP Muhammadiyah Aimas were include two class and the writer took the sample from12 (twelve) students from one class. The students of this study had been studied the theory of past continues tense before it. First step in collecting data the writer gave explanation related the theory of past continues tense to follow up the students’ memories in understanding, share the worksheet then explaining the instruction of the test before gave the test. By the observation to the students’ result test, she found four kinds of the students’ error with the frequency: error in addition= 53 (25, 24%), error in omission= 60 (28, 57%), error in miss-formation = 57(27, 14%), and error in miss-ordering = 40 (19, 05%) and the most dominant error was error in omission = 60 (28, 57%). The causes of error were classified based on the theory by John Norris (carelessness, first language interference, and translation), analyzed on the students’ results test.

This research was conducted based on the problems found during the teaching and learning process in class IX IPS 1 of SMAN 1 Talamau, specifically about students' understanding of narrative text. The problem found is that students cannot determine the main ideas and topics in narrative text, understand the meaning of words, understand implied information, and understand the general structure and features of language in narrative texts.This research is included in quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were students of class IX SMAN 1 Talamau, amounting to 159 people, divided into 4 classes. While this sample is class X8 of SMAN 8 Padang. The instrument used was an objective test. Data from students' objective tests are analyzed based on indicators and then interpreted and become research findings.Based on the results of the study showed that students of class IX IPS 1 SMAN 1 Talamau: 1. The ability to write students in determining the main ideas and topics in the narrative text showed at the intermediate level of 14 people out of 23 students (60,875%). 2. The ability to understand the meaning of words in the narrative text shows at the intermediate level that is 15 people out of 23 students (65.22%). 3. The ability to understand the information implicit in the narrative text shows that at the intermediate level, there are 14 out of 23 students (60.87%). 4. The ability to understand the general structure and language features of narrative texts shows that at the intermediate level, there are 16 students out of 23 students (69.57).From the results of the above research, it can be concluded that students still experience many difficulties in understanding a text, especially in narrative texts in accordance with applicable rules. Furthermore, based on the results of this study teachers are expected to be able to provide better teaching techniques and students can do more exercises to improve students' reading comprehension abilities.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan guru MIN Punia Mataram dalam melaksanakan penilaian hasil belajar berbasis kurikulum 2013 yang mencakup kemampuan merencanakan penilaian, melaksanakan penilaian, melakukan pengolahan hasil penilaian dan menindaklanjuti hasil penilaian. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 20 orang guru dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 13 orang guru yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Adapun variabel dalam penelitian ini berupa kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan penilaian hasil belajar. Data kemampuan guru diperoleh melalui instrumen berbentuk angket tertutup dan semiterbuka. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif berupa persentase, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru MIN Punia Mataram dalam merencanakan penilaian tergolong sangat baik (90%), kemampuan melaksanakan penilaian tergolong baik (73,33%), kemampuan mengolah hasil penilaian tergolong sangat baik (93,33%) serta kemampuan memanfaatkan dan menindaklanjuti hasil penilaian tergolong baik (53,33%). Berdasarkan hasil ini disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan guru MIN Punia Mataram dalam melaksanakan penilaian hasil belajar berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 sudah baik. Abstract: This research is quantitative descriptive research which aims to identify the ability of MIN Punia Mataram teacher in conducting the learning outcomes assessment based on curriculum 2013 which includes the ability to plan the assessment, to carry out the assessment, to perform the processing of assessment result and to follow up the assessment result. The population of this research is 20 teachers with the research sample is 13 teachers selected by purposive sampling. The variable of the study is the of teachers’ ability in implementing assessment of learning outcomes. The data of teachers' ability is obtained through closed and semiterbased questionnaire instruments. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis in the form of percentage. The result showed that the ability of MIN Punia Mataram teachers to plan the assessment was very good (90%); the ability to carry out the assessment was good (73.33%); the ability to process the assessment result was very good (93, 33%); and the ability to utilize and to follow up the assessment result is quite good (53.33%). Based on these results, it is concluded that the ability of MIN Punia Mataram teachers in implementing the assessment of learning outcomes based on the 2013 curriculum is good.

This study was  designed  to  investigate  the  students  error  in  using  preposition  “to”  and  “for”.  English  is  one  of  international  language,  this is important for us  to  master  it.  In  this  era,  many  science  and  technology book are written in English. Based on the fact that, learning a  foreign  language  often the learner get difficulties,  especially  in  grammar.  They  were  that  error  analysis  at  using preposition “to” and “for” are found in the second grade  of  MTS Al-Ma’arif 1 aimas. The students error were classified into several kind, error in using preposition “to” and “for”, error in using past tense and error in omission, addition and miss-formation. From the analysis, it was found that, the first errors in miss-formation, with the frequency 56% as the highest number of occurrences. The second level in addition, with frequency 22%l. The finally lower in omission with  frequency 21%. In learning English process students make error in using preposition in miss-formation, it happened to do not mastery about the material and also writer found caused the error of students include first language, translation error. Based on the discussion, it is included that the students at the second grade of MTS Al-Ma’arif 1 Aimas still low in understanding function of preposition. The finally the writer hopes that it will help the teacher in their teaching to improving the students ability in learning English.

In learning English as foreign language, Indonesian learners may produce errors since the structure of their first language is different with the English as the foreign language. Errors also exist when they use articles in English. The objective of the research is to know students’ understanding in using articles. Besides, this research also aims to know what type of error mostly appears in students’ writing. This research is a descriptive research combined with error analysis methodology using Surface Strategy Taxonomy. The research participants were 90 students of Bina Sarana Informatika University majoring Communication Science. The result shows that most of the students have some difficulties in using articles. The most common errors made by students are omission errors. Whereas, the second most common errors which appear in students’ writing is addition error which number is not much different with misformation errors. The least type of error which exists in students’ writing is misordering error.

In this study, the writer want to analyze the student error in using conditional sentence and involve all case in conditional sentence. The method of this research is error analysis. In this research, the researcher wishes to know how is the students of the second grade at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah 04 Klamalu competence in using conditional sentence type III especially in tenses “simple past perfect tense and simple future perfect tense.” The researcher gave the test to the students without the treatment the researcher want to know just one the cause of errors about the use of conditional sentence type III “simple past perfect tense and simple future perfect tense.”  The result showed that the causing error of the students in using conditional sentence are carelessness, first language using, translation, the facility of students learning like English book, the method of teaching and the students themselves. After the analysis kind of conditional sentence the writer to identification the kinds of error and persentage of students error, result of reserch are: omission the total error are 10 error, the persentage is 7, 04 %. Addition the total of error 14 error, the persentage is 9, 86%. Miss- ordering error is 80 error, the persentage is 56,34% and subtitution error is 38 error, the persentage is 26,76%. So the total of students error are 142 error and the persentage is 100%.

The first language (L1) of learners has a significant effect in learning a foreign language. The influence of L1 could become errors, that is called interference. The main purposes of the study are to identify the most dominant type of language interference and the factors contribute to language interference in students’ English composition. The data were collected from 67 Second Grade Students of Plantation Management Study Program in State Polytechnic of Agriculture, Samarinda for the Academic Year 2019/2020, and taken through elicitation technique and documentation, and then analyzed the errors. The result of the study shows that the type of grammatical interference comprise morphological errors and syntactical errors were the most troublesome areas of language that students encountered when conducting composition in English. Since the main focus of the study is L1 interference, only errors related to Indonesian as L1 interference were addressed.

This study examines the effect of capital structure, company growth, company size on profitability and company value the cases of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is quantitative descriptive research using path analysis. Classical assumption evaluations are conducted comprising of normality, linearity, autocorrelation, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity test. The sample is 33 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from period 2013 – 2017. The results of the study found that there was a positive impact of capital structure, company growth, firm size on profitability and value of manufacturing companies.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Capital Structure and Firm Size on Firm Value with Profitability as Intervening Variables. (Case Study on Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2018 Period). This research uses quantitative descriptive research type. Sample 27 companies using Purposive sampling technique. The analysis method uses path analysis with SPSS software version 21.Based on the test result min this study that the variable capital structure and company size have a positive and significant effect on profitability. Capital structure has no effect on firm value, firm size and profitability affect company value, and profitability is able to mediate the effect of capital structure and firm size on firm value. Keywords: capital structure, company size, profitability and firm value.

<p>This research aims to find out how Bank Aceh's financial performance after conversion in terms of earnings and capital. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. The data collection method used is the documentation method based on the data in the form of quarterly financial statements for the 2016-2018 period published. The method of data analysis in this study is by using the RGEC method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning and Capital). The results of the study show that Bank Aceh's financial performance in terms of profitability ranks 2, with the definition that profitability is adequate, profit exceeds the target and supports the growth of bank capital. Bank Aceh's decision to convert to sharia as a whole was a very appropriate decision because it was able to show good performance, besides that it also supported the Aceh Government in carrying out its programs to enforce Islamic law. Bank Aceh's financial performance in terms of capital also ranks 2, with the definition that banks have adequate capital quality and adequacy relative to their risk profile, which is accompanied by strong capital management in accordance with the characteristics, scale of business and the complexity of the bank's business.</p>

<p><em>When children are in a process of growth and rapid development, parents and young people should pay atantion to the health and health of children so that the children can grow and develop according to their age.The purpose of this research is to identify: (1). The children nutrition 5-6 years old, (2). The children health development 5-6 years old, (3). The alternative to protect children health. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The participants of this research which are include the principal, teacher, and the student parents at class B who is 5-6 years old. In process of collecting the data the researcher used interview method, observation, and documentation. From the research we can conclude 1).Nutrition or food that often given to the children is just four healthy five perfect foods, 2).The children in TK Ummi are the children who have healtiness, 3). The alternative that can be commited to protect the children health is do the practice, make the children common to throw the rubbish in the right place,  check the children nail, stock the pure water, set many dustbins and make a common to wash their hand before eating.</em></p>
