This research is aimed at finding the comparative study between Buzz Group and Critical Debate toward students’ speaking achievement. This research was experimental research. Statistic formula was used as the technique of data analysis. The subject of this research consisted of 44 students at the second grade students of MA Darul Qur’an Bengkel. The technique of collecting data used pre-test and post-test. The mean score of experimental group was 48.72 for pre-test, 66.18 for post-test and control group was 46.18 for pre-test, 63.27 for post-test. Variance of experimental group was 68.21, 62.91 for variance of control group and ttest score was 0.13 and t-table in significance level of 0.05 was 1.682 with degree of freedom was 42. It showed that t-test was higher than t-table, so that way, alternative hypothesis accepted and null hypothesis rejected. Therefore, the writer concluded there was significant compare of Buzz Group and Critical Debate towards students’ speaking achievement at the second grade students of MA Darul Qur’an Bengkel in academic year 2017/2018.

This research is aimed to find out the effect of definitions toward students’ vocabulary mastery: it was an experimental study at the second grade student of MTs NW Haqqul Yaqin Sayang- sayang. The subject of this research was the second grade of MTs NW Haqqul Yaqin Sayang- sayang. The research was used experimental method with quantitative approach. The population of this research consist of 55 students, and the sample is 29 for experimental group while 26 for control group. The technique of collecting data was used definition for experimental group and matching word with antonym for control group. The data was collected by using post-test only and the data was analyzed by t-test formula. Based on data analysis the mean score of experimental group was 76,4 and control group was 69,23, beside of that standard deviation for experimental group was 114,28 and for control group was 113,09 and the value of t-test was 2,44 and t-table was 2,000. Degree of freedom is 53 with significant level 0,05. It means that the value of t-test was higher than t-table (t-test ˃ t-table). The alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Thus, the conclusion of this research was there was an effect of definition toward students’ vocabulary mastery: an experimental study at the second grade students of MTs NW Haqqul Yaqin Sayang-sayang.

This research was aimed to find out whether the use of expand game effective toward students’ motivation in learning grammar and to find out correlation between students’ motivation and grammar. The kind of this research was experimental research with pre test and post test design. The population of this research was the students at the second grade students of of MTs Al-Muslimun NW Tegal consist of 104 students. The sample of this research used two classes namely experimental group and control group where each group consisted of 26 students. The sample technique used in this research was cluster random sampling by using lottery. The experimental was taught by expand game and control group taught by puzzle game. The instruments that used were grammar test and questionnaire for the motivation. The data analyzed used t-test. The result of the analyzed showed that the value of to (t obtained) 3.50 was higher than tt (t table) 2.056, the significant level 0.05. Based on the result of the study, it could be concluded that the use of expand game effective in learning grammar at the Second Grade Students of MTs Al-Muslimun NW Tegal and the result correlation between students’ motivation and grammar showed r-test was higher than r-table (0.979 > 0.388). Based on the result of the study, it could be concluded that is correlation between students’ motivation and grammar is accepted. In other word, alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected.

The aim of this research is to find out whether Categories Games is effective or not in teaching vocabulary to the second grade students of SMAN 1 Sikur. This research was True Experimental with posttest-only control design. The object of this research was second grade students of SMAN 1 Sikur. The total numbers of population were 150 students. The technique to take the sample was cluster random sampling, which took 40 students as the sample in this research. At the first time, the researcher gave Pre test to the experimental and control group. The second time, the researcher gave the treatment that used Categories Games in experimental group and Puzzle Game in control group, then the last, the researcher gave post test both of group. From the data is obtained, it found that T-test was 6,96 and t-table at significance level of 0,05 (95%) was 2,02. So it means that the score of t-test was higher than t-table (6,96 > 2.02). The alternate hypothesis (Ha), which used Categories Games in teaching vocabulary to the second grade of SMAN 1 Sikur was effective absolutely accepted. Meanwhile, the Null Hypothesis (Ho), which used Categories Games in teaching vocabulary to the second grade of SMAN 1 Sikur is not effective is absolutely rejected. Effectiveness of Categories Games was suitable for teaching vocabulary beside that practicable and applicable for English subject especially in teaching vocabulary

The research was experimental research and the design that was used was post-test only design. The population of the study was the second grade students of MTs Aunul Ibad NW Beroro course which consisted of four classes. Two classes were chosen as the samples, those were MTs Aunul Ibad NW Beroro A Class as experimental group consisted of twenty four students and C Class as control group consisted twenty four students. They were chosen by using Simple Random Sampling technique. Experimental group was treated by Verb Story game and control group was treated by Verb Search game. The instrument that was used objective test and questionnaire in forms of multiple choices and matching word. Then, the scores were analyzed by using statistical analysis. It showed the mean score of experimental group was 73,16 while the mean score control group was 55,12 and the value of t (t test) = 3,537 was higher than the value of  (t table) = 2, 013 at the significance level of 5% and the number of degree freedom (46). Therefore, according to the result of the analysis, it can be concluded that it can be concluded that the use of verb story game is effective in learning grammar at second grade students of MTs Aunul Ibad NW Beroro and the result correlation between students’ motivation and grammar, it shows r-test (0,993) > r-table (0,404). Based on the result of the study, it can be conclude there is correlation between students’ motivation and grammar is accepted. The instruments used for collecting the data were test which was consisted of pretest and posttest. The data analysis of this research was attempted by using independent sample T-test which was calculated through computing with statistical package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.The result indicated that the students’ mean score of experimental and control group in post-test were significantly different. It showed that t-count was higher than t-table (4.454 > 1.9966) and the sig. 2-tailed value was lower than sig. Level (0.000 > 0.05). Therefore the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It meant that there was effective impact of using crossword puzzle towards students’ vocabulary mastery. Decision based on facts, using crossword puzzle as a technique was effective to improve students’ vocabulary.
