With the new advances in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, which were initiated by artificial intelligence coupled with genetic engineering and nanotechnology, changes will occur in a very fast period of time and result in an impact on the economic industry and also governance in the presence of new business that was born of innovators to create strategies through digital platforms. In Indonesia, digital innovation is not only in one area, but also in the fields of education, food, health, which is also used as a new law in government that supports the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. These developments also affected the world industry. The birth of the term Industrial Revolution 4.0 was a continuation of the previous industrial revolution. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is an amalgamation of an optimized manufacturing industry with the latest internet technology.

The world has now entered the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, where in this era the world was colored by artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence), genetic engineering, nanotechnology, innovation, and changes that occurred rapidly had an impact on the economy, industry, government, and politics. Industry 4.0 is more likely to lead to business activities using digital platforms such as mobile shopping, e-commerce, marketplaces, and so on. The characteristic of online shopping is that it must be simple and fun, and with a very varied platform can increase its own trust in consumers to shop online. This study aims to develop the concept of a business platform that can affect the perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment of the millennial generation in online shopping. This concept focuses on one's repurchase intention to do online shopping which is influenced by the existence of so many business platforms and provide different services. The population used is characteristic of the millennial generation in Central Java. This sampling technique using purposive sampling method. The samples used amounted to more than 100 millennials in Central Java, and who frequently use business platforms/applications in online shopping. Data analysis techniques using regression with SPSS

The world of work has been impacted by technology. Work is different than it was in the past due to digital innovation. Labor market opportunities are becoming polarized between high-end and low-end skilled jobs. Migration and its effects on employment have become a sensitive political issue. From Buffalo to Beijing public debates are raging about the future of work. Developments like artificial intelligence and machine intelligence are contributing to productivity, efficiency, safety, and convenience but are also having an impact on jobs, skills, wages, and the nature of work. The “undiscovered country” of the workplace today is the combination of the changing landscape of work itself and the availability of ill-fitting tools, platforms, and knowledge to train for the requirements, skills, and structure of this new age.

The national strategy for the development of artificial intelligence for the period up to 2030 sets the task of a significant increase in the number of scientific articles by Russian scientists in this field. To do this, it is necessary to navigate the priorities, problems and prospects of scientific research carried out all over the world. However, there is currently not a single generalizing work on regional economic studies using artificial intelligence algorithms. Therefore, the object of the study was the world array of scientific publications on regional economic research, and the subject of the study was a lot of articles on the use of artificial intelligence algorithms in such studies. The purpose of the work was to generalize world experience. To select the necessary publications, a self-organizing semantic search algorithm has been developed, based on the ideas of content analysis, expert systems and machine learning. The search was carried out in the Scopus database. About a hundred articles were identified. A brief description of ten artificial intelligence algorithms used in regional economic research is given. Analysis of world experience has revealed five features: algorithms are not used to solve all research problems; are not aimed at creating a universal autonomous artificial intelligence system; are increasingly focusing outside of artificial neural networks; rarely used in combination; in domestic works are less diverse than in competing countries. It is proposed to focus efforts on identification of economic regions of specific functioning of production, transport and service systems of artificial intelligence; identification of territorial digital platforms; analysis of the intensity of gravitational interaction of geographically distributed socio-economic objects through 5G and 6G telecommunication networks; assessment of the direction and volume of regional information flows; determination of models of spatial diffusion of innovations in artificial intelligence among Russian regions. The accelerated development of these areas with significant government support will allow Russia to provide a methodological gap from other countries in the field of regional economic research by 2030

These disruptions may be creative in that as some jobs are lost due to the development of artificial intelligence, new ones are created. This chapter explored the impact of disruptive technological innovations on the future of work. A topic that has come increasingly into limelight is rising economic inequality in the world and the suffering of the labouring classes associated with the rise of new technology—in particular, artificial intelligence and digital platforms. Not surprisingly, these were topics with which the author had some ample engagement during his years as policymaker and this chapter speaks to this new global challenge. The chapter provides some basic information about the state of inequality and the falling share of labour income, and also suggests policy interventions to mitigate some of these problems.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to reveal the similarities and differences between the manufacturing and service industries in their prioritization of technologies and public research and development (R&D) roles, along with the complementation of properties of technology and public R&D role in the context of Fourth Industrial Revolution. Design/methodology/approach Two rounds of Delphi surveys were designed to meet the purpose of this study, which used rigorous triangulation techniques. The Delphi method was combined with the brainstorming method in the first-round Delphi survey, while the second-round Delphi survey focused on experts’ judgments. Finally, language network analysis was performed on the properties of technology and public R&D roles to complement the data analyses regarding prioritization. Findings This study identifies different prioritizations of five similar key technologies in each industry, so that it can note different technological impacts to the two industries in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Smart factory technology is the first priority in the manufacturing industry, whereas artificial intelligence is the first priority in the service industry. The properties of the three common technologies: artificial intelligence, big data and Internet of things in both industries are summarized in hyper-intelligence on hyper-connectivity. Moreover, it is found that different technological priorities in the service and manufacturing industries require different approaches to public R&D roles, while public R&D roles cover market failure, system failure and government failure. The highest priority public R&D role for the service industry is the emphasis of non-R&D roles. Public R&D role to solve dy-functions, focus basic technologies and support challenging areas of R&D is prioritized at the highest for the manufacturing industry. Originality/value This study of the different prioritizations of technologies in the manufacturing and service industries offers practical lessons for executive officers, managers and policy-makers. They, by noting the different technological impacts in the manufacturing and service industries, can prepare for current actions and establish the priority of technology for R&D influencing the future paths of their industries in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. While managers in the service industry should pay greater attention to the technological content of hyper-intelligence and hyper-connectivity, managers in the manufacturing industry should consider smart factory and robot technology.

Until the last century, it was the manufacturing industry that created jobs. But today, as a result of the existence of artificial intelligence, robots, the manufacturing industry is no longer the main driver of job creation but the service industry.As competition grows, brand manager imagination needs to work, and sales growth solutions need to focus on customer focus attention. It is a difficult task if all brands offer discounts in the malls they are in, and the announcement of differentiation is put to the attention of specialists who offer solutions for fun of any kind for the clients. The article aims to present the evolution of world trade in recent years and the various ways of diversion invented by retailers to keep customers in store chains longer time for them to buy more.The conclusion of this article will focus on the idea of future trade based on modern technology inside stores, which will lead to profound changes in customer buying behavior.
