Research has underlined that moral disengagement processes, by which people switch off their moral values and act aggressively without experiencing guilt, are highly connected with contextual factors. However, research on situational variations in moral disengagement is limited, especially considering the associations with characteristics such as the ethnic origin of potential victims. The general aim of the present study was to develop a brief, specific measure of ethnic moral disengagement able to catch individual justification used in the case of ethnic bullying and cyberbullying, and test its validity and reliability. An eight items scale was developed and administered in study 1, in a sample of 961students attending several Italian high schools (53.5% female; Mage 15 years). Considering the results of the CFA, we modified one of the items and the scale was administered again, in a second sample of 1,229 students (49.9% female; Mage 15.62 years) in study 2. A one-factor model of ethnic moral disengagement fit the data well and internal consistency showed to be good. As an additional step, we found that the model was invariant across Italian adolescents and youths with a different ethnic or culture of origin (having at least one parent born abroad) strengthened our confidence regarding the factorial integrity of the scale. Last, the scale showed to be positively associated with ethnic bullying and cyberbullying. Generally, findings suggested that the Ethnic Moral Disengagement scale can be a useful tool for those interested in measuring moral disengagement and evaluating how it impacts bullying and cyberbullying of minority groups.

This study aimed to explore the extent to which the principals of secondary schools in the State of Kuwait said they practiced leadership with humour and if it impacts on their level of resilience in the workplace. The study sample consisted of 121 male and female secondary school principals from six educational districts in Kuwait who were selected using the random stratified method. The study findings showed that the perceptions of school principals regarding the extent to which they practice leadership with a sense of humour were moderate in all fields. The study also found that school principals enjoy high resilience in their workplace, especially when solving a problem. Finally, the results showed that the more a school principal used humour the more resilient he/she would be in the workplace. The study concluded that humour should be considered as one factor in effective leadership and that leadership training programmes should include this dimension. The level of resilience can be clearly predicted by identifying the extent to which school principals claim to practice leading with humour.

Family firms, in which a family controls a majority stake in the organisation, are often considered characteristically different from non-family firms. However, our understanding of employee ownership in the specific context of family firms suffers from the concerns raised by owners of several family firms about such ownership. The decision to open the capital to its employees goes beyond the question of the ownership of family business. Nevertheless, it impacts the governance of the company and raises several concerns including the transmission of information, transparency, increased formalism, and taxation. This study aims to analyze how family firms benefit from an employee ownership plan and how governance practices impact the mechanism of employee ownership plans. This study examines the financial communication of French family firms in terms of mployee ownership activities.

Workers are exposed to different factors that can be detrimental to their well-being, being the most known safety and hygiene factors. A few years ago, the concepts of harmful factors for workers were updated by adding the psychosocial factors. Although there is literature on psychosocial factors and their effect on health, this work focused specifically on seeking the relationship between productivity and psychosocial factors to know how it impacts the organization. The investigation was applied in a case study for a doorknob locks manufacturing company in its final assembly area. Data collection was done by applying the questionnaire provided by NOM-035-STPS-2018 and the company's productivity databases for the subsequent analysis using statistical tools. The results were that, for the violence factor, its correlation with productivity was R2 = 0.8886, indicating a strong correlation with which it is concluded that there is an influence on productivity.

Most companies focus their thinking on the production system's assets, those that generate profits, and rarely look to the periphery, to the enabling systems, those that carry out the effort in order that the production department can continue to do its job, those that provide the “support” to the system. What is “supportability”? It is not a widespread term; it is in fact associated to “maintenance logistics,” and this is only the simplest of its meanings, when in reality it crosses horizontally the whole organization, it is transversal to the MGM model, and it is present in all of the phases of assets and systems' life cycle. Throughout the chapter, different concepts will be developed to show how support is integrated into the proposed maintenance management model (MMM) at each stage of the asset life cycle and how it impacts their costs.

The importance of the free flow of traffic, time spent in traffic at junctions, and individual productivity of road users along the Ilesa-Owo-Benin expressway in Akure Ondo State, Nigeria, cannot be overstated. While extant literature has shown that traffic congestion on roads significantly influences how road users perform their duties, few studies have explored the part played by the length of time they spend at junctions and how it impacts individual productivity. We collected data using a Questionnaire survey, comprising questions associated with traffic congestion at junctions of 203 respondents from across the residents (and travellers through Agbogbo/Irese/Futa junctions along Ilesa-Owo-Benin expressway in Akure). With an analysis of variance (ANOVA), we identified the differences in road users' perception of traffic congestions at junctions. We investigated the impact of traffic congestion on the productivity of road users. Finally, we identified potential solutions to the persistent traffic congestion experienced at the junctions. This paper offers a traffic congestion community with a better understanding of traffic congestions on road networks and aid in developing suitable methods and policies for road traffic congestion management.

Women's participation in sports matches has increased every year, not least in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. In the worldof sports, it does not escape some of the controversies that surroundit. Kontroversion is meant here is in terms of the uniforms that athletes wear in competing. One of them was a gymnastics athlete from Germany as well as a Norwegian handball team who were subject to penalties. The case shows that there is discrimination against women through regulations in the use of uniforms.. Looking at this, the authors were interested in researching and analyzing how women's sportswear is viewed from Islamic law and sexism theory, how it impacts and the solution of both theories. The results of this study can be concluded that if it is reviewed from the point of view of hifz al-'ird, the awarding of fines to the athlete is considered unable to meet the protection of honor, especially in the care of dignity and dignity of women As for the actions of female athletes who refuse to wear sports uniforms have been in harmony with the concept of hifz al-'ird. In the view of hifz al-'ird, the uniform worn by athletes must be a uniform that can protect the honor of the athletes while when viewed from the glasses of sexism, it is very clear that there are uniform rules that make women more objects of sexuality in sports.. Supposedly, auniform of a female athlete should be based on the comfort of the athlete who will wear it at sporting events. Keyword: Uniform, hifz al-'ird, sexism

Intergenerational transmission exists in parents’ and children’s educational attainment as well as in biological genetic inheritance. In fact, it impacts educational attainment transfer across generations in many ways. This article elaborates from different angles on the characteristics, disparities and causes of intergenerational education transmission, and explores the effects of intergenerational transmission inequality on education and the implications of this study.

As of recent rapid development in the field of UAVs, unusual aerodynamic practices can be used, for example, the tandem scheme. In early planning stages, it’s important to evaluate aerodynamic characteristics of the chosen scheme and to approximate its balancing losses, as it impacts the stability and controllability of the craft. The most effective way of aerodynamic characteristics analysis is done using wind tunnels. However, it requires considerable investments in both financial terms and time, when designing the model, conducting the experiment and processing the results. Because of that, it’s worthwhile to consider the simple CFD calculations (XFOIL). This paper calculates aerodynamic characteristics of a tandem-scheme based “A-8” aircraft using XFLR5 analysis tool with the results compared to a real wind tunnel experiment. The overall conclusion of the paper is a recommendation to consider XFLR5 for early planning stages for advanced balancing losses calculation approximation.
