The analysis of trends in industrial injuries indicators for 2000-2020 has been carried out. in Russia and revealed their exponential decline. The adequacy of the obtained models 98-99% allows them to be used for forecasting. It was found that with an increase in funding for labor protection measures more than 14 thousand rubles / person. there is no significant decrease in the values of indicators

The task of improving the system of accounting and analysis of accidents at industrial enterprises for many years has not lost its relevance both in Kazakhstan and abroad. Identification of the root causes of accidents is an important stage for the development and implementation of preventive and adaptive measures to reduce the risk of injuries to employees of enterprises. The article analyzes the characteristics of the indicators of industrial injuries, which are result — oriented (after the fact) — lagging and process-oriented (forecast) - leading. Lagging indicators are a retrospective description of the state of labor protection at a production facility, while advancing indicators characterize already completed or current actions and predict the result of the productivity of measures. The expediency of using leading indicators for predictive assessment of the state of industrial safety and, as a result, the development of a systematic approach to minimizing the number of incidents is justified. Statistics and analysis related to industrial injuries at the enterprises for open-pit coal mining have been presented in this article. A method for formation a hazard register with an increased and critical risk levels during technological operations has been proposed. Indicators of industrial injuries in the Russian coal industry remain unacceptably high. Solutions to this problem should be sought in the way of accident prevention, which can be achieved through operational risk management of injuries, implemented by analyzing the state of labor protection for this factor, followed by determining the causes that lead to injuries. On the example of SUEK-Kuzbass JSC, the risks of light, severe, fatal and general injuries were calculated. Based on the individual regression coefficients of the obtained correlations of injury risks, the mines were ranked according to the level of industrial injuries. For a more detailed assessment of the state of labor protection, a matrix of the causes of accidents and their severity is proposed, which displays a qualitative description of the situation at the enterprise.

The issue of occupational safety is studied by assessing working conditions and calculating the economic effect of labor protection measures. The paper describes criteria for improving the economic efficiency by increasing the level of labor protection. It describes measures aimed to ensure the occupational safety and health of workers. The economic efficiency of measures aimed to improve working conditions and ensure the safety is calculated on the example of a steam generation unit. The methodology for calculating technical, economic and social indicators of labor protection takes into account the costs of improving safety and calculating the economic damage caused by accidents. The methodology can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of industrial measures, and takes into account the social effect of labor protection and envi ronmental protection measures. To calculate the effectiveness, the cost of losses, damage, localization costs, environmental damage, and measures is calculated. The occupational safety assurance measures can reduce the cost of production due to the increased labor productivity and improved quality of working capacities in favorable working conditions. An objective assessment of the measures aimed to improve safety conditions contributes to the development of recommendations and can justify management decisions made to ensure the occupational safety.

This article is devoted to the analysis of roofing works’ industrial injuries. The current state of the situation is considered on the basis of official statistical data. The problems and directions for development of an additional measures complex for improving the state of labor protection when performing this type of construction work have been identified. One of these measures is to develop a bitumen material stacker, the introduction of which will reduce industrial injuries and reduce the severity of roofers. The article discusses in detail the functioning of the bitumen material stacker, and also reveals the advantages of mechanization of roofing work in this way. The introduction of the invention, due to the mechanization of work processes, will reduce industrial injuries, diminish the roofers’ hard work, increase quality of roof and the work process speed.
