The aim of this paper is to analyse the impact of working environment on job satisfaction of port trusts employees. A well structured interview schedule was used to collect the primary data and proportionate random sampling method was used to select the respondents. The study found that there is a significant difference between the satisfaction of employees of V.O.C. and Chennai port trusts with regard to working environment. Retailing is a major business in India, organized retailers are entering in to Indian markets to reach mass sales and maximize profit , in this stage retailers should aware of the factor that influencing customer choice of store and customer behaviour, loyalty of the customer is a tool to reach profitability and with hold in market, and objective of this study is to know the factor which influences customer choice of store selection and their behaviour in organized retail out lets in Madurai, 175 samples were selected using simple random sampling method, data collected with the structured interview schedule, SPSS package has been used for statistical analysis.

The present study on extent of adoption of chilli growers was conducted in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh covering one block. A total of 120 respondents were selected by simple random sampling method from six randomly selected villages. Pre-tested well structured interview schedule was used for collecting the relevant information’s. The study inferred that majority of the respondents were of middle aged, belonged to medium size of family, other backward class, illiterate, having low annual income between Rs. 35,001 to 60,000,no membership in any organization indicating poor social participation and farming (chilli cultivation) as the main occupation. Most of the respondents were having medium level of knowledge have medium level of adoption. It was found that villagers do not get other vegetable for their commercial income, through chilli they at least filling this gap of income, although they are producing chilli at low level. Majority of the respondents reported that reasons of adoption of this crop due to chilli needs, less hard work with high benefits and income and it is good for soil also.


In this study, an attempt was made to measure the farm profitability of KVK adopted and non-adopted farmers in the Janjgir district of Chhattisgarh. From Janjgir Krishi Vigyan Kendra, a list of 45 adopted farmers was obtained, and equal numbers of non-adopted farmers were selected using a proportionate random sampling method. The study was based on primary data collected from various sample respondents. Primary data were collected using pretested interview schedule and personal interview of selected respondents by survey method. The study revealed that the majority of adopted farmers belonged to the young aged category while more than half of the respondents were illiterate. The majority of farmers belonged to the OBC category. The cost and return in rice production showed that rice production was profitable. Adopted farmer made gross income 101641 ha and non-adopted farmer 99496.6 ha -1 -1 while the cost of production per hectare was 822.04 and 893.72 of adopted and non-adopted farmers, respectively.

The present study on “Entrepreneurial behaviour of turmeric growers” was conducted in Washim district of Maharashtra state with the objective to study the entrepreneurial behaviour of the turmeric growers. The exploratory research design of social research was used. In all, 120 respondents were selected by random sampling method. The data were collected by personally interviewing the respondents with the help of structured interview schedule. After analysis it was observed that majority of respondents (40.00%) possess medium entrepreneurial behaviour. The results of the co-relation co-efficient between entrepreneurial behaviour of respondents and their profile results which clearly indicates that selected characteristics of turmeric growers i.e. Land holding, annual income, and knowledge had positive and significant relationship at 0.01 level of probability with entrepreneurial behaviour whereas, area under turmeric crop, extension contact and scientific orientation had positive significant relationship at 0.05, percent level of probability with entrepreneurial behaviour of turmeric growers. While age, farming experience, source of irrigation had negative and non-significant relationship with entrepreneurial behaviour.

The present study was carried out in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, India by using random sampling method with 120 respondents and data collected by well structured interview schedule. There are 8 blocks of Dindigul district (Tamil Nadu, India) out of which 4 blocks were selected on the basis of maximum area (1568 ha) and production (18002 MT). Objective of this research is to study the Marketing behaviour of tomato growers. Consumers' marketing behaviour when looking for, buying, selling, using, evaluating, and discarding products and services that they believe will meet their requirements. According to the findings, the majority of respondents (64.16 per cent) had a medium level of overall marketing behaviour, followed by 23.34 per cent of them having high and only 12.5 percent of them having low level of marketing behaviour.

Various things are done by companies to provide job satisfaction to their employees, one of which is a career path in the company, but not all positions can reach career paths in the company, there are several positions that experience career plates. This study aims to determine the impact of career plateau on job satisfaction of minimarket outlet employees in the city of Palembang. This study uses the independent variable Career Plateau (X), and Job Satisfaction (Y). The data used in this study are primary data. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire method distributed to 150 employees of minimarket outlets in the city of Palembang with a purposive sampling method. While the analysis is done by processing data using SPSS 19.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that the independent variable Career Plateau (X) has an influence on Job Satisfaction (Y) employees of minimarket outlets in Palembang.

Covid-19 illness is a pandemic infectious disease caused by a new coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China. Nepal being a landlocked underdeveloped country is particularly vulnerable to the pandemic. Similarly, the dread of contracting the coronavirus is making people concerned about a global pandemic. It is vital to determine the impact of viral outbursts on mental health. Hence, this study aims to identify level of depression, stress and anxiety during lockdown among Nepalese residents. Cross-section web-based research design was undertaken at Bagmati province, Gandaki province and Lumbini province with four hundred twenty-two (n=422) (n=422) Nepalese residents by using a multistage proportionate stratified random sampling method. The Dass-21 tool was used to assess level of depression, stress and anxiety. Among 422 respondents only 5.9% had extremely severe level of anxiety, whereas 14.5% were moderately depressed, 77.5% did not have any stress during lockdown. There was statistically significant difference between depression and age (p=0.016), depression and sex (p=0.023). Also, there was a significant difference between stress and age (p=0.023), sex (p=0.0263) and education level (p=0.049).It is concluded that more than two-third of the respondentsere found to be in normal ranges for depression, stress and anxiety. Less than one-fourth of respondents had moderate to severe level of anxiety and depression.

Aims: Entrepreneurship is a state of mind that allows you to take calculated risks with confidence in order to attain a certain economic or industrial goal. This study deals with the socio- economic and entrepreneurial characteristics which finds place in business success. Study Design: Expost- facto study. Place and Duration of Study: Sample: The study has been conducted among the agripreneurs from agri-incubation centersof Coimbatore and Maduraibetween February 2021 and August 2021. Methodology: Proportionate Random sampling method, 104 respondents were selected for the study from the total population of 416 samples. The data was collected by using pre – tested and well-structured interview schedule. Each agripreneur were personally interviewed to collect the information. The collected data was analyzed by using statistical tools such as Percentage analysis, Mean score and Regression method. Results: It was observed that experience in business, self-confidence, annual income, economic motivation and credit orientation plays major role in determining the success of agripreneurs. It was suggested that more mentoring to increasing self confidence among the entrepreneurs in incubation centers and providing fund will lead to the success. Conclusion: Experience also paved the way to success, by gaining experience one can learn and decide how to make the enterprise as profit and successful venture. It was suggested that creating more source of fund for their business investment and motivation by giving mentoring would increase the self confidence which lead effectively towards the business success of agripreneurs.

Aim: The present study was designed to study the impact of off-seasonal migration of hilly tribes in Tirvannamalai district of Tamilnadu.  Study design: Ex-post facto research design. Place and Duration of the study: Tiruvannamalai district was purposively selected for this study since it is one among the districts where hilly tribes’ population is high.  This study was confined with seven villages namely Kovilur, Nammiyampattu, Kanamali, Veerappanur, Melsilambai, Palamarathur and Kuttakarai of Jamunamarathur (Jawadhu hills) block during April 2017 to November 2017. Methodology: The sample size entailed of 240 respondents selected from these villages with proportionate random sampling method.  The respondents were interviewed personally by a well-structured and pre-tested interview schedule.  The collected data were analysed with percentage analysis statistical method.  The findings on the results were interpreted with relevant conclusion.  Results: In this context, the impact of off-seasonal migration of hilly tribes in Tiruvannamalai district were thoroughly analysed and discussed with nine sub-headings.  The overall impact of migration revealed that majority of the migrant hilly tribes had no changes in agriculture (91.25%), healthcare and sanitation (95.00%), urban contact (91.25%), savings and investment (88.64%), standard of living (66.00%), social status (64.08%), consumption pattern (52.17%) and purchasing power (52.17%).  Increased change observed with the employment status (80.20%) of the migrant hilly tribes.  Conclusion: Since, the income obtained from the off-seasonal migration activities, but it is mostly spent on debt borrowed by the hilly tribes for the seasonal activities and further improvement can’t be obtained and hence necessary credit facilities have been provided for the migrant hilly tribes.

This study aimed to examine the effect of professionalism, competence, organizational commitment and job satisfaction on the performance of auditors at the public accounting firm (KAP) in Padang (6 Firms) and Medan (18 Firms) obtained by 96 respondens. This study was also conducted to determine if there are differences them. This research using primary data and sampling is done by purposive sampling method. The reasons for selecting different objects based on their differences in location and working environment on each KAP could cause differences mindset and worldview, values that are believed or how auditors work and indirectly led to differences in the understanding of how to generate performance the good one. The results of the analysis are the professionalism, competence and organizational commitment affect the performance of auditors, but job satisfaction has no influence on the performance of auditors. There is no difference among auditors in Padang and Medan because wherever auditor work then work will have the same standard, as set out in the professional ethics of auditors.
