Sahih al-Bukhari by Imam Abu Abdullah Mohammad al-Bukhari comes second to the Holy Quran as a fundamental source of Islam. It is a most authentic collection of sayings and deeds of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), which covers almost all aspects of life in providing proper guidance from the Messenger of Allah. The Muslim scholars of past and present time gave great importance to this book by making their efforts to extract the hidden treasures from this book and to present the different approaches and benefits of this book. “Al Kawakib Ad Durari” by Imam Alkirmani is an old explanation of Sahih Bukhari. During studying “Fath al Bari” I found that Alhafiz Ibne Hajar has consulted “Al Kawakib Ad Durari” and quoted Imam Alkirmani’s commentary and added it. Alhafiz Ibn e Hajar differs at many times with the opinions of Imam Alkirmani about specific time, place, different tribes and personalities mentioned in the text of traditions. I wanted to study such analysis to check the right opinion after comparing statements of both Imams and by consulting with the statements of other scholars of this field. This article approves that judgments of Ibn e Hajar about specific time, place, different tribes and personalities are more authentic than opinions of imam Alkirmani.

Delegation of divorce and its revocation is an important issue in the discipline of Muslim family law, which especially highlighted by Muslim scholars in Pakistan after the legislation of Muslim Family Law Ordinance 1961 in this regard. Actually, the legality of the issue in the classical Muslim jurisprudence is not questionable due to its institution by the legal texts of the Holy Quran and Sunnah. But the Muslim scholars distinguish between pre- and post-contract delegation of right of divorce to the wife. As for as concerned the Pakistani Muslim family Law ordinance 1961, which legalized that right to divorce may be delegated to wife at all. We have tried to study in this article the real status of the issue in the light of Quran and Sunnah and opinions of the early Muslim Jurists in this regard. This study is based on the comparison between the practically applied law in Pakistan and legitimate position of the said case in Islamic Law.

Islam is the religion of peace. Islamic law describe a complete and comprehensive law of punishment for the eradication of crimes and maintenance of peace. According to Islamic law, the punishments can be classified under three main categories: Al-Hudud (fixed punishments), Al-qisas (Retaliation), and Al-Taazir (discretionary). Hudud means the punishment which has been specified in the Holy Quran and Sunnah and no individual or group has the right to amend or abrogate it. The second is Qisas, which means the equal retaliation of an aggression committed against the body of a person. The third Kind of Islamic legal punishment is Taazir, it means, a crime for which The Holy Quran and Sunnah have not fixed any punishment, instead, have left it to the discretion of the judges. But in the recent era, many of the Muslim countries don’t leave the punishments of the penal crimes (Taaziraat) to the discretion of the Judges, each Muslim state restrict the rights of the Judge to give punishment at his own’s discretion, and legislating for the punishments of penal crimes (Taaziraat), and make the Judges abide by a particular measure of punishment for penal crimes (Taaziraat). In this articles, we will analyze the above mentioned issue in the light of Islamic principles, that what, it is lawful for any Muslim state to legislate for the punishment of penal crimes or not?

Without practical performance of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) it is merely impossible for anyone to understand the Holy Quran. It was his primary function to explain the meaning of Qur’anic verses and to set a concrete example for Muslims, therefore the Ahadith of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) are certainly the second basic source in Islam. Muslim scholars classified the traditions of Holy Prophet (ﷺ) into three types; sayings, deeds, and consent of the Prophet (ﷺ).  Hadith Taqreeri is the kind of Hadith in which the silence of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) is mentioned when his compa-nions did something or said something in his presence and he refrains from condemning it. His silence in this context reveals to us the legal ruling of that saying or action. In this article I want to elaborate this kind of Hadith, its importance and its legal status in Islam.

Allah the elevated bestowed on prophet Muhammad SAW two basic sources of guidance for Muslim Ummah, The holy Quran and Hadith. Abstract: If the Muslim scholars have proved the existence of ellipsis in the Holy Quran, the translation of deleted parts in it poses various problems which relate to the extent of adding what was not existed in the source text through approximating the meaning related to the assumed deletion. The translators of the Quran have not been in agreement in dealing with the assumptions of deleted words; some added words and phrases assumed from the context while others left them by preserving what is apparent in the original. They also differ in the methods of translating the assumed deleted items; some use brackets to indicate the deleted items while some integrate them within the translations. This paper aims to point out the effects of ellipsis on the translation of the Holy Quran in order to outline clear basis and principles that would be of assistance to the translators to take on the translation of items in the Holy Quran.   Key words: Translation, Holy Quran, Deletion, Assumption, Meaning.

Recurring episodes of transboundary haze have been similarly to an annual event in Malaysia since the 1980’s. Transboundary haze is typically haze caused by forest fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan, Indonesia which moves thousands of miles and encompasses neighboring regional countries. This is caused by human hands that continue to pursue unplanned development without taking into account the aspect of environmental sustainability. This study looks into and the understanding of recurring occurrences of transboundary haze in Sarawak. From the perspective of Islam, by making the Holy Quran as the absolute source of reference, God forbids the destruction of nature and calls upon mankind to do good not only to other humans and animals but also to the environment. Human beings are endowed with a great mind that can guide them to make and do the right thing, thus, various efforts need to be taken into consideration and be done collectively amongst the ASEAN countries in a joint effort towards reducing or preventing continuous episodes of transboundary haze within the region.

The former orientalist conceived that the Holy Quran came as a result of efforts done by prophet, but there are orientalists who believe that it was not due to the efforts by human but it came over the passage of time. Generally, the orientalists made every effort to affront the true and holy image of last prophet PBUH-the final messenger of Allah as well as the Quran, (revealed words of Allah) in a bid to create ambiguity and hurt the reliability of both. They also left no opportunity to touch and allegedly refer to as Satanic verses. Some of them who are more significant in paying heed specifically to this issue in their work are Karen Armstrong, Montgomery Watt and Maxims Robinson. According to objective of their work is to prove this fallacy that Quran does not come due to revelation from Allah. But, most famous Muslim scholars like Al-Qurtabi, Al-Radi, Qadi Ayaz and Ibn alArabi provided proofs that this is only myth and Satanic verses have no base at all. The article is focused to analyse the Orientalists views on the satanic verses and their drastic failure in upholding their objectivity pertaining to the false story. This research paper is intended to study that how they failed in proving the major objectives of the false story.

In order to perceive the meanings and importance of the words of Allah, the Muslim scholars have done their very best to keep and understand the rich and poetic classical Arabic language in both of its forms; prose and poetry fully taking care of its original state and good condition. Classic Arabic is more important as it plays its role as a store of lingu istic tools for understanding the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (S A W) Abu Abdullah Al-Qurtabi (d.671) a famous commentator of the Holy Quran quoted on many occasions from Arab poets in his tafsir work “Al- Jame Le-Ahkam-e-Quran” to explain the meaning of certain words and phrases used in the Holy Quran. This article discusses and explains the rhetorical beauties of some of those verses along with their linguistic analysis and treatment explanation.
