Understanding of mathematical concepts is the ability of students to understand facts related to mathematics which can be expressed again in easily understood languages. The problem examined in this study is research on improving mathematical understanding of integer operations through the application of Probing Prompting Learning (PPL) with Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. The method used is observation, documentation, interviews, and test methods, while the data analysis uses the percentage formula of the results of observations and the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes formula. In the 2013 curriculum requires students to actively observing, ask, reasoning, trying, exploring, and concluding the material provided by the teacher. Many models of learning that can be applied on the 2013 curriculum at the school to improve students’ achievement. In this study, researchers used two different models of learning can improve mathematics learning achievement, namely AIR learning model (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) and RME learning model (Realistic Mathematics Education).Formulation of the problem in this study is whether there are differences in mathematics learning results set of material relations between students taught using AIR learning model (Intellectual Auditory Repetition) and RME leaning model (Realistic Mathematics Education) in seventh grade at SMP Negeri 3 Waru?. While the purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in mathematics learning results set of material relations between students taught using AIR learning model (Intellectual Auditory Repetition) and RME learning model (Realistic Mathematics Education) in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Waru.This is an experimental research. In this study takes two classes as a sample. To determine the sample used sampling methods using purposive sampling. The data collection method used the test and documentation method. While the method of data analysis used statistical data analysis using t-test formula. Based on the results of the analysis of the data, obtained tobserve = 3.27 >  ttable = 1.99773, so it can be concluded that there are differences in mathematics learning results set of relations material between students taught using AIR learning model (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) and RME learning model (Realistic Mathematic Education) at seventh grade SMP Negeri 3 Waru.   Keywords: RME, AIR, The Result of Mathematic

ABSTRACTThis research has purposed to find out the effectiveness of realistic mathematics education with gatrik game on arithmatic operation mix material in elementary school grade IV at Public Elementary School Palang district Tuban. The result data analysis of implementation realistic mathematics education materials revealed to: (1) Teachers be able to teaching the materials nicely, (2) Students activities during learning process is effective, (3) Students responses during learning process are positive, and (4) classical Students completeness is achieved. Based on the result of this research, Researcher concluded that realistic mathematics learning using gatrik game is effective when applied on arithmatic operation mix in elementary school grade IV. Keywords: Realistic mathematic education and gatrik games ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan permainan gatrik pada materi operasi hitung campuran di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Palang Kabupaten Tuban. Hasil analisis data implementasi perangkat pembelajaran terungkap bahwa: (1) guru dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan baik, (2) aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran efektif, (3) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran positif, dan (4) ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal tercapai.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan permainan gatrik efektif digunakan pada materi operasi hitung campuran di kelas IV SD. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran matematika realistik dan permainan gatrik.

Based on experience and reflection multiplication of fractions learning at fifth class SDN 33 VII Koto Padang Pariaman district. Student learning outcomes is still low and the learning undertaken by teachers arenot using realistic problem to beginning of learning. So the author through this research trying to improve student learning outcomes in subjects multiplication of fractions. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation and learning outcomes. This research is action research (class action research), this study used a qualitative and quantitative approach. Learning is used by using the realistic mathematics education approach. After doing research hence an increase in student learning outcomes in multiplication of fractions lesson using realistic mathematics education approach. It can be seen, both from the ability of teachers in designing learning from 83% up to 94%, implementation of learning increased 94% from 77%, and learning outcomes increased to 86,87 from 74,04.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggetahui desain pembelajaran bangun datar melalui pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).  Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode desain reseach untuk menggetahui bagaiamana pendekatan RME dapat mendukung pemahaman siswa mengenai pengukuran luas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis diketahui bahwa dengan menggunakan kegiatan membandingkan, menggambar dan menghitung dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan pemahamannya mengenai konsep konservasi luas. Konsep ini dapat membantu siswa memahami pengertian luas dan pengukuran luas. Hal ini dimungkinkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME dapat membantu siswa  memahami konsep konservasi luas dapat membantu siswa mengukur luas persegi dan persegi panjang dengan mengubah bentuknya dan dapat menemukan luas tanpa mengunakan rumus. Kata Kunci : Pengukuran luas, Realistic Mathematic Education (RME), Design Research.

<p><em>Pendidikan pada abad 21 memerlukan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menyenangkan. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) dan pendekatan induktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan </em><em>hasil belajar</em><em> kognitif</em><em> matematika kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dengan pendekatan induktif</em><em>. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Se-Kecamatan Kutowinangun tahun ajaran 2019/2020. </em><em>Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan metode </em><em>cluster stratified random sampling</em><em>.</em><em> </em><em>Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes objektif berjumlah 30 nomor</em><em>. </em><em>Analisis data menggunakan uji t-2 sampel bebas</em><em>. Hasil penelitian ini  berdasarkan perhitungan uji t-2 sampel bebas menunjukkan bahwa bahwa nilai probabilitas </em><em>sebesar 0.002 dengan taraf signifikan α = 0.05</em><em>. Berdasarkan  hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan RME lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pendekatan induktif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif matematika siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Se-Kecamatan Kutowinangun tahun ajaran 2019/2020.</em><em></em></p><p> </p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh  pemanfaatan media audio visual berbasis Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di MTsS Raudhatun Najah Langsa. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTsS Raudhatun Najah Langsa yang berjumlah 96 siswa, sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara random sampling, maka didapat kelas eksperimen adalah kelas VII.a berjumlah 31 siswa dan kelas kontrol adalah kelas VII.b berjumlah 31 siswa. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes yang berbentuk uraian sebanyak 5 butir soal. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan pada taraf signifikan  dan dk = (n1 + n2 – 2) = (31 +31 – 2) = 60 dengan kriteria tabel  thitnugtabel sehingga diperoleh -2,00  5,99 2,00 sehingga H0 ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh  pemanfaatan media audio visual berbasis Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di MTsS Raudhatun Najah Langsa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) terhadap hasil belajar pada materi penyajian data di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur (Library Research). Sumber data sekunderyang terdapat di dalam artikel atau jurnal (tercetak dan/atau non-cetak) berkenaan dengan Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Penyajian Data di Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitian berupa analisis atau review 25 artikel yang relevan dengan masalah yang ada pada studi literatur ini. Dari hasil penelitian 25 artikel yang relevan menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t(t hitung > t tabel) sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat hasil belajar matematika yang signifikan pada materi penyajian data antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar pada materi penyajian data.

Secara umum, tujuan jangka panjang program pengabdian ini adalah mengembangkan suatu proses pengabdian yang inovatif melalui pendampingan bagi guru-guru SD dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kualitas guru SD di Dayeuh Kolot melalui hasil-hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan. Secara khusus, target khusus yang ingin dicapai sebagai berikut: (1). Meningkatkan pemahaman dan penyusunan bahan ajar dengan tema “Penerapan Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education Menggunakan Barang Bekas” pada guru SD Bantaran Citarum; (2). Meningkatkan minat pemahaman dan penyusunan bahan ajar dengan tema “Penerapan Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education Menggunakan Barang Bekas” pada guru SD Bantaran Citarum. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut sebagai berikut: (a). perizinan terhadap Dinas setempat terkait pengabdian terhadap guru-guru SD; (b). Memberikan gambaran umum mengenai kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan; (c). Melakukan refleksi dan diskusi mengenai berbagai kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan; (d). Melakukan kolaborasi dengan ahli dalam menyusun bahan ajar dengan tema “Penerapan Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education Menggunakan Barang Bekas” pada guru SD Bantaran Citarum, (e). Pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan ; (f). This research was conducted to see the extent of students' understanding of concepts and mathematical communication after being treated with learning using the RME and CTL approaches. The approach used in this research is quantitative with a type of quasi-experimental research. The population as well as the sample in this study were 2 classes with a total of 70 XI MAS PAB 2 Medan Estate students. Next to find out the understanding of concepts and mathematical communication students are given a description test. To process the data obtained using ANACOVA; The results of the data analysis test concluded: the level of understanding of the concepts of students who were treated with the RME approach was lower in influence than students who were treated with the CTL approach. The mathematical communication of students who were treated with the RME approach was less influential than students who were treated with the CTL approach. The level of understanding of mathematical concepts and communication of students who were treated with the RME learning approach was lower in influence than students who were treated with the CTL learning approach. Data analysis concluded that there was an interaction effect of applying the learning approach to students' understanding of concepts and mathematical communication.

Mathematics as a part of basic science is considered very difficult, especially for students from elementary school to high school. To facilitate the process of learning mathematics has been developed many new learning methods by experts in mathematics education, one of them is realistic mathematics education. Realistic mathematics education is one of therenewed learning methods on basic mathematical concepts that related to the context, illustrations, and based on everyday life situations. Besides realistic mathematics education motivated students to be more active and creative in solving mathematical problems according to real conditions, it also more emphasize cooperative and communicative learning so that students are more interested in learning mathematics. This encourages the government to include realistic mathematics education in the curriculum of basic education and also through the provision of training and education for teachers. It is expected that the education system that accommodates Realistic Mathematic Education can increase the interesting of students' learning
