Abstract This article discusses the educational module of muallaf in Malaysia. Some modules that have been implemented in several academic institutions such as Darul Hidayah MAIWP Education Module, Hidayah Centre Education Module, Baitussalam Education Module, PERKIM Islamic Da'wah Institute (IDIP) and Islamic Studies Institute, National PERKIM Islamic Studies Class and Sabah Islamic Institute and Da'wah Institute (IPDAS). The method used in this study is in the form of quality through library research and analyzed using content analysis and comparison by looking at the modules of muallaf education centres that have been used. The analysis of this muallaf module is fundamental to see the suitability of the level and ability and effectiveness of the convert to follow the syllabus that has been provided. The results of the study found that there is a syllabus that has been drafted over for 5 years and needs to be re-evaluated so that it can be updated and in line with current changes and needs. This writing will be an essential reference for institutions, researchers as well as the country. Beberapa modul yang telah dilaksanakan di beberapa institusi pendidikan muallaf seperti Modul Pendidikan Darul Hidayah MAIWP, Modul Pendidikan Hidayah Centre, Modul Pendidikan Baitussalam, Institut Dakwah Islamiah PERKIM (IDIP) dan Institut Pengajian Islam, Kelas Pengajian Islam PERKIM Kebangsaan dan Institut Pengajian Islam dan Dakwah Sabah (IPDAS). Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah berbentuk kualitatif melalui kajian perpustakaan serta dianalisis menggunakan analisis kandungan dan perbandingan dengan melihat kepada modul-modul pusat pendidikan muallaf yang telah digunakan. Analisa terhadap modul muallaf ini sangat penting untuk melihat kesesuaian tahap dan kemampuan serta keberkesanan muallaf untuk mengikuti silibus yang telah disediakan. Hasil kajian mendapati terdapat silibus yang telah dirangka melebihi tempoh 5 tahun dan perlu kepada penilaian semula agar ia dapat dikemas kini dan sejajar dengan perubahan dan keperluan semasa. Penulisan ini akan menjadi rujukan penting kepada institusi, penyelidik serta kepada negara. Kata kunci: Silibus, Pendidikan Muallaf, Tahap & Kandungan

Fokus kajian adalah seputar konsep pendidikan Kartini dan pandangan Kartini seputar peran ibu sebagai madrasah bagi anak-anaknya. Sehingga, rumusan masalah dalam artikel ini adalah 1) Bagaimanakah peran ibu sebagai madrasah bagi anaknya? 2) Bagaimanakah konsep pendidikan Kartini? 3) Bagaimanakah pandangan Kartini terhadap peran ibu sebagai madrasah bagi anaknya? Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam menyusun artikel ini adalah library research, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan content analysis. Artikel ini menggunakan surat-surat Kartini dalam buku Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang sebagai sumber data primer. Peran ibu sangat penting dalam pendidikan informal. Konsep pendidikan Kartini mengacu pada konsep pendidikan budi pekerti atau pendidikan akhlak, yang adalah pendidikan tidak hanya mencerdaskan otak saja, namun juga harus membentuk akhlak baik pada diri peserta didik. Dalam upaya pembentukan akhlak, Kartini memandang kalau peran ibu sangatlah penting sebagai madrasah bagi anaknya. Abstract: Mother as a Madrasah for Her Son: R.A. Kartini's Educational Thinking. This article analyzes R.A. Kartini's educational thinking. The study's focus is around the concept of Kartini's education and Kartini's view around the role of motherhood as a madrassa for her children. Thus, the formulation of the problem in this article is 1) How is the mother's role as a madrassa for her child? 2) What is the concept of Kartini education? 3) What is Kartini's view of motherhood as a madrassa for her child? The research method used in compiling this article is library research, with data analysis techniques using content analysis. This article uses Kartini letters in the book Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang as the primary data source. Motherhood is essential in informal education. Kartini education refers to the concept of ethics education or moral education, which is education not only the intelligent brain but also good morality in students. To establish morality, Kartini considered that motherhood is essential as a madrasah for her children. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Keluarga, Peran Ibu, Pendidikan Akhlak.

This discussion aims to explain further the effect of Hamzah Fansuri's mystical thought to the muslim intellectual tradition in the archipelago. This research is a library research using a historical approach to obtain data and conducting content analysis. This research show that Hamzah  Fansuri was the first in the Archipelago who wrote on mystical thoughtin a systematic form that had roots in a strong scientific approach and pure of deviation and perfect in reference to Arabsources. From the works of Ḥamzah FanṣūrÄ«, we can see his mystical style of writing which had a distinctive character, in contrast to other Fansuri's who lived in the past. Although the influence of wahdah al-wujud was still strong,  Hamzah  Fansuri was able to transform the term in Arabic into Malay, so it could be understood by people who were unable to speak Arabic. Hamzah  Fansuri provided new technical concepts in Malay; he has made the language fully adequate to discussthe doctrines of philosophical and metaphysical thought formulated by previous Sufis. Hamzah  Fansuri is not only as the originator and pioneer of Sufism wujudiyah in the archipelago, but also as laying the foundations of Islamic studies and integration of Islam and culture.

Ketidakadilan gender yang terjadi pada pendidikan formal di sekolah, sering kali tanpa disadari oleh para pendidik. Melalui buku-buku pelajaran wajib, seperti buku pelajaran bahasa Arab, konsep bias gender tersosialisasikan kepada para siswa-siswi. Hal ini diakibatkan kurang selektifnya guru dalam memilih bahan ajar.Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab permasalahan mengenai bentuk bias gender dalam buku pelajaran bahasa Arab untuk tingkat Madrasah Tsanawiyah yang selama ini tersosialisasikan kepada siswa-siswi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas, tanpa disadari oleh para guru.Penelitian ini termasuk library research. Data diperoleh dari tulisantulisan yang berbicara tentang bias gender dalam buku pelajaran. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode content analysis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, buku pelajaran bahasa Arab untuk tingkat Madrasah Tsanawiyah mempunyai peran yang sangat besar dan bermakna dalam penyampaian pesan-pesan kultur dan budaya, di antaranya tentang konsep bias gender. Dalam buku pelajaran bahasa Arab, bias gender tersosialisasikan melalui rumusan teks, kalimat dan gambar (ilustrasi dalam buku). Bentuk bias gender yang ditemukan adalah posisi mendominasi lakilaki dan tersubordinasinya perempuan, pelabelan sifat maskulin untuk lakilakidan feminim untuk perempuan, dan pembagian peran gender di mana lakilaki cenderung bekerja pada sektor publik, sementara perempuan pada sektor domestik. Sementara itu, bentuk bias gender yang paling banyak ditemukan dalam setiap buku pelajaran bahasa Arab adalah posisi mendominasi laki-laki dan tersubordinasinya perempuan, baik dalam rumusan teks, kalimat, maupun gambar.

Abstract: This research was conducted to find out how reward and punishment according to Irawati certainly does not conflict with the value of Islamic education. This is a library research the data of which were taken from several works of Irawati Istadi and direct interviews with her. The researcher also took some data from several researchers who discussed Irawati Istadi's thoughts and from Islamic education figures whose thoughts had relevance to the research theme. Content analysis methods is applied to draw conclusions. From this research, it can be concluded that the concept of reward and punishment according to Irawati Istadi turns out to be compatible with the Islamic education. However, in Irawati's thought, there are also some differences shows the development of thoughts from previous figures of Islamic education and certainly did not conflict with the values of Islamic education. Relation between the different of religion comunity in the multicultural nation as in Indonesia be a natural phenomenon that it cannot be avoided. As to one of the problem that had appeared in this case is about wedding problem betweena moslem with the difference religion womans. Majority of the Indonesia religious scholars as scholar in Majelis Tarjih Muhammadiyah had been prohibiting wedding like that with various reason. while a part little of the contemporary moslem scholars have been permiting the wedding. The points which will discussed in this research is how is opinion of Majelis Tarjih Muhammadiyah about the law of wedding with the woman from Ahl Al-Kitab and its ijtihad methodology. This research should analyze the argumentation of the Majelis Tarjih that make forbidding a muslem married with the difference religion womans. This research using library research approach dan content analysis. The results of this research are: (1) Majelis Tarjih of Muhammadiyah forbidding the wedding with sad al-dzari’ah as its argumentation; (2) Majelis Tarjih’s opinion has been irrelevant because two reason, the mistake of methodology and the change of the Indonesian contemporary society (based on an empiric data). Keywords: Ahlu Kitab; Majelis Tarjih; Different Religion Marriage

This article provides an overview of the history and current situation of the academic study of Sufism (Islamic mysticism) at American universities. It examines Sufism’s place within the broader curriculum of Islamic studies as well as some of the main themes and approaches employed by American scholars. In addition, it explains both the academic context in which Sufi studies are located and the role of contemporary positions in Islamic and western thought in shaping its academic study.1 Topics and issues of particular interest to a Muslim audience, as well as strictly academic observations, will be raised. In comparison to its role at academic institutions in the traditional Muslim world,2 Sufi studies has played a larger role within the western academic study of Islam during the twentieth century, especially the later decades. I will discuss the numerous reasons for this in the sections on the institutional, intellectual, and pedagogical contexts.

This study aims to analyze the character values ​​in Sirah Nabawiyah Ar-Rahiq Al-Makhtum by Syafiyyurrahman al-Mubarakfuri, so that it is revealed how the character education of the Prophet Muhammad. and analyze its relevance to current educational goals. The research method used is library research, the type of research approach is deductive and the analysis method is content analysis. Data collection techniques used were library techniques. This research succeeded in proving that prophetic values ​​based on the history of the Prophet Muhammad have a strong relevance to the concept of contemporary character education. Prophetic values ​​loaded with character education in this era, especially related to religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendship, love for peace , likes to read, care about the environment, care about social, and responsibility.

The research aims to describe the puzzling media as a solution to increase the learning motivation of elementary /MI student. This research is library research. It is a method that the data which is needed in completing research comes from library sources i.e. include books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, journals, documents, magazines, etc as well as various sources on the internet. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation. Documentation means looking for data about things in the form of notes, books, papers, articles, journal, and so on. Then, the data analysis technique used in this study is content analysis. In this analysis, the process of selecting, comparing, and combining various meanings will be found to be relevant. The media is an intermediary or introduction. Puzzle media can improve the students’ motivation to keep trying to solve problems. It is fun for students because it can be repeated. The challenges in the puzzle game will give you an addictive effect to always try and try until they are successful.

This article aims to review more concretely how the fatwa position of DSN-MUI toward Sharia Insurance in Indonesia's legal system and how this fatwa is transformed by insurance companies in the form of Unit Link products. Researchers used library research methods, comparative and correlative approaches, and content analysis techniques to answer this. Based on the analysis, the position of the fatwa of DSN-MUI toward Sharia Insurance is hierarchically equivalent to the position of the laws and regulations based on the provisions stated in Article 1 paragraph 3 of Law No. 40 of 2014 on Insurance. Furthermore, from the aspect of transformation, it is found that there are three patterns of transformation used by insurance companies; there are patterns of adoption, expansion, and narrowing. The narrowing pattern is widely used because of the technical nature of the Unit Link. However, from the aspect of conformity with the fatwa, after the transformation process is carried out, especially in the fatwa of the DSN-MUI regarding wakalah bil ujrah by expanding the meaning of ujrah, it is resulted in deviations from sharia principles, especially considering the types of ujrah as stated in a limited manner in the fatwa. wakalah bil ujrah. This research contributes to providing a way to resolve the implementation of Unit Link.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas secara lebih konkrit bagaimana posisi fatwa DSN-MUI tentang Asuransi Syariah dalam sistem hukum di Indonesia dan bagaimana fatwa ini ditransformasikan oleh perusahaan asuransi dalam produk unit link. Untuk menjawab hal ini, peneliti menggunakan metode library research, pendekatan komparatif dan korelatif serta teknik content analysis. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedudukan fatwa DSN-MUI tentang Asuransi Syariah secara hierarkis setara dengan kedudukan peraturan perundang-undangan berdasarkan ketentuan yang tersurat dalam Pasal 1 ayat 3 UU No. 40 Tahun 2014 tentang Perasuransian. Selanjutnya, dari aspek transformasi, ditemukan tiga pola transformasi yang digunakan oleh perusahaan asuransi yakni pola adopsi, perluasan, dan penyempitan. Pola penyempitan banyak digunakan lantaran sifat teknis dari unit link. Sedangkan dari aspek kesesuaian dengan fatwa setelah dilakukan proses transformasi, khususnya dalam fatwa DSN-MUI tentang wakalah bil ujrah dengan melakukan perluasan makna ujrah mengakibatkan adanya penyimpangan terhadap prinsip syariah khususnya tentang jenis ujrah sebagaimana disebutkan secara limitatif dalam fatwa wakalah bil ujrah. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan jalan penyelesaian implementasi unit link yang selama ini dianggap bermasalah.
