Abstract - Automatic system have grown widespread across all sector so do water heater. Traditionally, heating water is done by utilizing fire as heat source. As the growing of technology, the heating process could be done by manipulating electrical energy by convert it to heat. Electrical energy is flown to a metal rod that contact directly with the water which increase the water temperature. On some case, appropiate water temperature is needed. Altough, a thermometer is needed to read the actual temperature as a feedback value for the system and a system that can control the electricity current flow through the heater that the heat produced is linear to the current flow. With implementing microcontroller as a process node for generating PWM signal, this problem can be solved. Also, Labview is needed as an interface for monitoring and bursting an output which have been processed by Proportional, Integral, and Devivative (PID) controller to producing accurate and stable heat. Based on the results of testing, the system is able to provide a rapid response to any changes that occur, both changes in set-point and changes in water temperature (actual value). Another test is done by comparing the temperature value detected by the temperature sensor in this device with an external digital thermometer placed in the same place, and from some of the tests the temperature value detected by the temperature sensor in this device has a difference of ± 0.19 ℃ with a digital thermometer. Keyword : Water Heater, Thermometer, Microcontroller, LabView, PID.

Single-chip AT89C2051 as the main-control component of the device, we designed a digital thermometer from the aspects of hardware, it with the aid of temperature sensor DS18B20, the device used single bus technology to detect the ambient temperature (analogue) is converted into digital quantity, it was accepted, processed, judged by single-chip microcomputerand then control and display. The temperature measured range in - 30 °C to + 120 °C, the accuracy class + 0.5 °C, four LED Nixie tube as display mode.

Abstrak- Dryblock is a versatile temperature calibrator that works with heating. Most of the dry block using one or more inserts that can be exchanged where the holes are drilled. These holes accommodate various temperature sensors to be calibrated. diameter hole size in accordance with the temperature sensor into tested. The device is very simple way, namely by inserting a thermometer to be calibrated into a hole that has been provided on the tool and will be compared with LM35 temperature readings that already appears on the LCD screen so that it will look at the difference between the thermometer display. This temperature reading and temperature modules have been compared with a calibrated thermometer in BPFK Surabaya, and the biggest mistake in getting the smallest is 0, 2% and 0.1%

Automation is nowadays a new trend of Electronics. This automation has been implemented by the help of microcontrollers. If a microcontroller is programmed efficiently then it is capable to work efficiently as human. This era of automation has reduced so much human efforts. In this century some changes has taken place in the field of technology. The most important of those is the use of digital circuits in everywhere. The world of digitization has made things easier than before or we can say it has reduced human error in most of the areas. In our research we have made a digital thermometer by using AT89C51 microcontroller. The other components we have used are LM35 temperature sensor, Analog to Digital converter IC (ADC0804), MAX-232 IC chip for serial communication with the microcontroller and LCD display to display the temperature. We hope that this research paper will be helpful to scientific improvement in the field of making Digital thermometers to a great extent. This paper reviews basically about Bluetooth based home automation system. It is controlled by PIC microcontroller. Home automation can be defined as the ability to perform tasks automatically and monitor or change status remotely. These include tasks such as turning off lights in the room, locking doors via smartphone, automate air condition systems and appliances which help in the kitchen. Now a days several wireless devices are available such as Bluetooth, Zigbee and GSM. Since Bluetooth is low in cost than the other two and hence is used more. In this paper we have described the methods of automating different home appliances using Bluetooth and pic microcontroller. Different sensors are involved in this system to advance and make it smarter. Sensors such as temperature sensor, liquid sensors, humidity sensor etc. can be used.

Roasting coffee manually is widely applied by coffee producers. This process takes a very long time and is less efficient in terms of productivity for industry standards. This machine  is equipped with a thermocouple sensor as a temperature sensor that will measure the temperature in the roasting cylinder, then equipped with a timer as a reminder of roasting time that ranges from 15 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius, this machine  is also equipped with android as a timer controller on the coffee roaster machine. This machine is also equipped with a microcontroller and Bluetooth as a media transmitter and data receiver. From the test results obtained data that Bluetooth can be used for data communication between the microcontroller and Android with a distance of 30 meters in the room, and 12 meters outside the room. If it exceeds that distance, then Bluetooth will not respond back
