The objective of the study was to establish the influence of utilisation of project budget as a monitoring and evaluation tool and sustainability of community agricultural projects supported by Caritas in Meru County, Kenya. A pragmatic research paradigm was adopted and a descriptive survey research design was utilised. A pragmatic research paradigm was adopted and a descriptive survey research design was utilised. The target population was 59 smallholder farmer groups and 24 Caritas Meru staff. The sample size was 51 smallholder farmer groups and the total sample size was 177 respondents. The data collection tools were questionnaires and interview guides. The collected data were coded and entered into the SPSS version 26 program for analysis. The qualitative data was analysed by way of grouping similar responses together and identifying the main themes from them. The linear regression and Pearson’s correlation (r) methods were utilised to evaluate the link between various variables. The multiple linear regression models determined the link between dependent and independent variables together with the moderating effect of the moderating variable. It is also used as the inferential statistics that inform the decision to reject or not reject the alternative hypothesis for the research study. The study found out that an increase in the utilisation of project budgets leads to an increase in the sustainability of the community agricultural project by Caritas in Meru County and vice versa. The study concludes that there is a significant relationship between utilisation of project budget as monitoring & evaluation and sustainability of community agriculture projects. The study recommends that to ensure the sustainability of community-based agricultural projects, the organisation should train farmers’ group leaders on leadership and management skills. The organisation should train farmers on best farming practices, record keeping and conflict management practices to avoid the collapse of groups.

Purpose: This study investigated the challenges confronting the use of web-based library services in Prof. Festus Aghagbo Nwako Library, NnamdiA zikiwe University, Awka.Methodology: The study adopted descriptive survey research design. The population comprised of 4,529 registered student users of the library and the sample size was 200 students accidentally selected while using the library. Questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection and the data collected were analyzed using mean.Findings: The result revealed that challenges such as lack of awareness of available web-based services, lack of fund and high cost of Internet services among others were confronting the use of web based services in the library.Implications: lack of awareness of available web-based library services as major challenge to the use of the services shows that students were not aware of these services hence the need for academic libraries to market their web-based services.Value/Originality: The study’s educational value rest on the recommendations that the library should create awareness of available web-based services and the university authority should provide more funds to enable the library to fully upgrade its web-based services so that a true virtual experience could be derived from the use of these services.

To answer these questions, the study adopted the quantitative research paradigm and made use of a descriptive survey research design. The questionnaire was employed as the instrument for collecting data, and was used to get data from 55 government TVET institutions as well as several private institutions. The study found out that perception of community and various stakeholders on TVET educations was diametrically distributed as 50% viewed it negatively while 50% perceived it positively. The goal of every program provided by a school or university is to make it more responsive to the needs of fast-changing employment demands. This goal also entails enhancing the students' skills to be prepared for their future jobs. This study identified the predictors of employability of the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics graduates of St. Paul University Surigao Academic Year 2005-2015. Descriptive survey research was employed using a researcher-made questionnaire encompassing the personal information, employment status, and exit skills with seven identified subparts. The questionnaire elicited employability through the skills of 81.82% of the participants. Utilizing the employment status variables and the exit skills, Linear Regression Analysis extracted the predictors of employability. The findings revealed that the exit skills of the graduates are the predictors of employability. Thus, the school should create programs and activities which enhance the students' skills, particularly the predictors of employability identified in this study.
