Tik tok is one of the most loved apps in the millennial era. The Tik Tok application is an application to create and share various short videos in vertical format, which is played by simply scrolling the screen up or down. Tik Tok users are increasing every day, especially during the pandemic era. In 2020, as of October Tik Tok reached 2 billion downloads worldwide. This application originating from China is widely downloaded by social media users to relieve boredom when they have to stay at home. This study aims to improve students' speaking skills through the Tik Tok application. The subjects of this study were 20 students of the third semester in English education major at STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. The method used is descriptive quantitative method using classroom action research techniques. Based on the result, the improvement of students’ learning activities showed mean score of students’ learning activities in pre cycle is 68.88, in cycle I was 69 with the criteria was less active. While, the mean score of students’ learning activities in cycle II was 76.75 with the criteria were quite active. So, the improvement of students’ learning activities the first cycle to the second cycle was 7.75 point. From analyzing data, it could be concluded that classroom action research by using Tik Tok App improved students’ learning activities and students’ speaking skill.

The study was carried out to assess the relationship between students' critical thinking abilities and their success in writing an argumentative essay. The descriptive-correlation design was used in this research. The respondents in this survey were a total of 310 Education major students. This is 22.32 percent of the 1387 students enrolled in the Education program. The 50-item questionnaire was based on the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal from Pearson TalentLens to measure the student's study critical thinking abilities. The following conclusions were drawn: the students lack critical thinking ability; the students have difficulty in constructing argumentative essays; and the less critical the students are, the less performance they have in writing argumentative essays.

Academic writing in higher education mainly focuses on writing for publication. The success of writing for publication depends on the learners’ ability to access, understand the relevant references, evaluate, and synthesise the ideas, opinions, and sentences to make their academic pattern. Viewed from prior studies, it seems that many EFL learners have faced various problems in writing their academic papers, specifically writing for publication. To respond to this issue, this narrative inquiry aims to investigate (1) how learners acquire their knowledge in writing for publication, (2) the difficulties they face in writing for publication, and (3) how they face those difficulties. This present study intended to dig up the experiences of two graduate students of English Education major in writing for publication. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect the data. Then, the data were analyzed using thematic analysis. This study shows that the participants acquired knowledge and experiences from various sources that were useful for writing their academic papers. Surprisingly, the various difficulties they faced motivated them to learn more and improve their writing skills for publication. Pedagogical and future research implications are further discussed.

The goal of every program provided by a school or university is to make it more responsive to the needs of fast-changing employment demands. This goal also entails enhancing the students' skills to be prepared for their future jobs. This study identified the predictors of employability of the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics graduates of St. Paul University Surigao Academic Year 2005-2015. Descriptive survey research was employed using a researcher-made questionnaire encompassing the personal information, employment status, and exit skills with seven identified subparts. The questionnaire elicited employability through the skills of 81.82% of the participants. Utilizing the employment status variables and the exit skills, Linear Regression Analysis extracted the predictors of employability. The findings revealed that the exit skills of the graduates are the predictors of employability. Thus, the school should create programs and activities which enhance the students' skills, particularly the predictors of employability identified in this study.

Abstract In order to meet the social demand for preschool education professionals, based on the finite element higher-order fractional differential equation, this paper studies the information teaching model of preschool education of fine arts in colleges and universities. Through the scientific and effective fine arts education in the preschool education major in colleges and universities, the students’ fine arts ability can be effectively improved, and the application of information means can make this goal can be better realised so that the teaching needs can be better satisfied and they promote the better development of fine arts education in the preschool education major.

  This study targeted to uncover the trends of using of visual sources in the teaching process, Art Education at the Hashemite University was devoted to and identify the effect of both gender and experience on visual sources. The sample consisted of field training students in the fourth year art education major in the College of Science Pedagogical Among the students of the Hashemite University for the academic year 2019/2020, and they were chosen in an intentional way and were developed to measure these trends and were of sufficient validity and stability for the purposes of this study, and the study tool was distributed to all students, as their number reached (583)Male and female students The study found the following results: The results of the study revealed positive trends for me Students, Towards the use of visual sources in a process Teaching, there were statistically significant differences attributed to sex and that in favor of females Where I got an arithmetic mean (3.49), while males got a mean (3.30), and the difference was statistically significant at the level of (α=0.05). While there were also statistically significant differences attributed to the experience in visual sources and equipment, in favor of the average experiences, as they got an arithmetic average (3.54), while the large experiences got an arithmetic average (3.53), and the few experiences got an arithmetic mean (3.41), and the difference was statistically significant at the level of (α=0.05). It yielded search results The researcher presented a number of recommendations About The use of visual sources in the teaching process.
