This research contributes to the development of acronym formations in Indonesian that are in accordance with the patterns of acronym formation in newspapers in North Sumatra. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the acronym formation that are obedient to the pattern of acronym formations in Indonesian and how to overcome or find solutions to the problem of non-conformity in the process of acronym formations in Indonesian. This study uses the Research And Development Method (R & D). The research procedure is descriptive in nature with the steps as follow: 1) Potentials and problems: R & D departs from the problem of inconsistencies in the acronym formations in Indonesian, this is a potential and a problem. 2) Gathering Information: researchers collect information from various dailies published in North Sumatra and hold FGDs with Indonesian lecturers and teachers. The results show that there are acronym formations that do not adhere to the principles of Indonesian. The observation conducted by the researcher shows that daily events that occur in society contribute to the birth of these kinds of acronyms. Acronyms that do not obey the principles will lead to irregular Indonesian vocabulary and do not meet the requirements of a good language. The formulations of the problems in this research are: 1. What are the forms of acronyms that do not comply with the principles of newspapers in North Sumatra. 2. How are the forms of acronyms that do not comply with the principles of Acronym Formation in Indonesian. The results of this study found that several acronym formation processes in Indonesian are not aligned with the pattern of acronym formations in Indonesian.

Tujuan pelaksanaan penelitian ini yaitu membuat perangkat berteknik think-pair-share dan hasil pengembangannya dinyatakan telah praktis, valid dan memiliki keefektifan serta layak dipakai selama pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) model 4D yakni define, design, develop dan desseminate. Hasil akhir berupa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, silabus, assesmen dan lembar kerja siswa yang dinyatakan valid, efektif dan juga bersifat praktis pada aspek afektif, pskimotor dan kognitif oleh beberapa ahli dibidangnya (validator). Penggunaan perangkat berteknik think-pair-share ini ternyata mampu meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika baik pada aspek afektif, psikomotor maupun kognitif.Kata Kunci: think-pair-share, kompetensi fisika, penelitian dan pengembangan  THE USE OF THINK-PAIR-SHARE TECHNIQUES FOR IMPROVING THE COMPETENCE OF PHYSICSABSTRACTThe purpose of the research is to create a think-pair-share technic tool and it is expected that its development results are stated to be practical, valid and have effective and feasible use during learning. This research uses research and development method (R & D) 4D model that is define, design, develop and disseminate. The final result is the implementation plan of learning, syllabus, assessment and student worksheet that is declared valid, effective and also practical on affective, psychomotor, and cognitive aspects by some experts in their field (validator). The use of think-pair-share tech device is able to improve students' competence in physics subject both on affective, psychomotor and cognitive aspects.

This study aims to determine the validity of PBL-based worksheets on the XI class matrix material. The type of research used is the research and development method (R & D). This research stage will be based on the ADDIE development stage which consists of the analysis, design, and development stages. The instrument used in this research is the LKPD validation sheet, and the data obtained will be processed descriptively. From the research results, it is known that the results of the LKPD validation are 87.92% with a very valid category. Based on the final results of this study, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Worksheet on Class XI Matrix Material is very valid.

Mastering science process skill is very beneficial in problem solving process. This research aimed to develop teaching materials such as science process skill-based textbooks on energy and its changes. The method used in this research was research and development, by using the 4D design, which include define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research and development method were used to produce a product and to test its efficiency. The result showed that the learning material fulfill the assessment criteria. The mean validation result of textbook showed a number of 3.58 indicated as a good category. Based on T test, it was proven that the use of textbooks is indeed influential towards the development of students’ science process skill.

Abstract This study aimed at determining the design stage of the augmented reality-based learning media for sensors and transducers course. This study employed the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This article focuses on the design stage during the process of media development. The developed learning media can be used among vocational students by visualizing the sensor and transducer components like in the real laboratory setting. The design of the developed learning media contained application storyboards and animation storyboards for practicing the six sensors. This augmented reality learning media is designed to support online learning and students’ autonomous learning in the practical course of sensors and transducers.

This study aims to produce a learning device in the form of a physics module based on SETS that is valid and practical to improve students' conceptual understanding. The type used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). Subjects of this study were teacher and students of class XI MIA 1 with a total of 31 subjects. The research procedure  is the 4-D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Due to time and cost limitations, this  research is limited to the develop stage. The research instrument used was a validity questionnaire, practicality, and a description of the conceptual understanding. Furthermore, data obtained were analyzed to see the validity and practicality of the module as well as an assessment of students' conceptual understanding of dynamic fluid material. The level of understanding of students' concepts is seen from the aspects of interpretation, exemplifying, explaining, and comparing. The results showed that the physics module based on the SETS developed was categorized as very valid with an average of 82.16 and in the very practical category with a percentage of 84.29. Then for understanding the concept of students obtained a score of 94.67 in the interpretation  aspect,  86.98 in the exemplary aspect, then 81.10 and 86.61 respectively for the aspects of explaining and comparing. Learning using a physics module based on SETS is very good to be applied in order to improve students' conceptual understanding of dynamic fluid material. This was proven by the increase in students' understanding of concepts in every physics learning meeting on dynamic fluid material.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh lemahnya pembelajaran sastra pada jenjang siswa SMP di Kabupaten Cirebon. Selama ini, guru mengalami keterbatasan dalam merancang  model yang efektif untuk mengaktifkan dan mencerdaskan siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang berorientasi pada kecerdasan interpersonal dalam pembelajaran sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan ingin memperoleh hasil yang objektif tentang keefektifan pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang berorientasi pada kecerdasan interpersonal dalam pembelajaran sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development method) yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan, yaitu 1) studi pendahuluan, 2) perencanaan dan pengembangan draf media, dan 3) uji coba terbatas serta uji coba meluas. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada satu sekolah dan uji coba lebih luas dilaksanakan pada tiga sekolah. Penelitian ini menghasilkan acuan berupa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang berorientasi pada kecerdasan interpersonal dan aplikasinya dalam pembelajaran sastra. Keberhasilan hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan alternatif model pembelajaran.

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  meningkatkan  motivasi   dan   pencapaian  studi  mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah bahasa Inggris di STSI Bandung  yang selama  ini sering dipandang sebagai  pelajaran  yang  sulit  dan  kurang  menyenangkan.  Penelitian  dilakukan  di  STSI Bandung pada perkuliahan bahasa Inggris di Jurusan Karawitan dan Seni Rupa dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development Method. Penerapan  post-method  pedagogy memperhatikan  tiga  komponen  utama,  yaitu  lingkungan belajar, siswa dan pengajar. Keberhasilan pengajaran bahasa Inggris dipengaruhi komponen siswa, pengajar,  materi ajar dan  hubungan  antara siswa  dan  pengajar.  Dari  penelitian ini didapatkan model pembelajaran post-method pedagogy yang menempatkan pengajar sebagai penyusun materi ajar dan pengelola kelas yang mempertimbangkan karakteristik dan latar belakang pembelajar. Pada akhir kegiatan pembelajaran, pengajar melakukan evaluasi hasil belajar dan  merefleksikan  apa yang telah  dilakukan untuk merencanakan dan melakukan proses belajar mengajar selanjutnya.Kata kunci: Post-method pedagogy, Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris, Model pembelajaran, Mahasiswa seni.
