One of the competencies that must be possessed by teachers or prospective teachers to become professional teachers is pedagogical competence. Pedagogic competence is the ability of a teacher to manage the learning process that relates to students. Therefore, pedagogical competence is very important for mathematics education students as prospective teachers. This study aims to determine the pedagogic competencies possessed by students, to know the strengths and weaknesses of students' pedagogical competencies, to identify the causes of weaknesses in students' pedagogical competencies, and determine alternative solutions to the weaknesses of students' pedagogical competencies. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this research are Mathematics Education Study Program students who took Microteaching courses. Data collection in this study was carried out through giving tests and interviews. Data was analyzed in quantitative and qualitative ways. The conclusion of the results of this study are 1) students' pedagogical competencies are in the low category; 2) The advantages of pedagogical competencies possessed by students are a) understanding the students' characteristics; b) mastering the concepts, principles, and procedures for developing curriculum or expertise programs; c) creating learning situations that are active, interactive, communicative, effective, and fun, as well as effective students guidance. While the weaknesses of pedagogic competence possessed by students are: a) mastering learning theory and learning principles; b) mastering theories, principles, and learning strategies; c) mastering the use of media, communication technology, and information, as well as reflective actions to improve the quality of learning; d) mastering concepts, principles, and learning assessment strategies; e) understanding the process and results and the impact of learning for students. 3) Factors that lead to the students' weak pedagogical competence are lack of students' motivation in improving and developing their pedagogical abilities and lack of tasks or exercises carried out by students in developing their pedagogical abilities, and lack of students' creativity in completing tasks. 4) Efforts that can be used as alternative solutions namely applying the Lesson Study approach and providing material reinforcement of pedagogic abilities.

The Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers states that a teacher must have four competencies, namely pedagogical competence, personality, social and professional competences. A teacher is expected to pay attention to the material, strategy, technology or surrounding culture in helping to realize active, creative, fun and meaningful learning. One of the uses of ICT in education is needed as an effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process. However, there are many obstacles faced in its application, including a lack of teacher understanding of technology. Technological Pedagogical And Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a framework that describes the knowledge needed by teachers to integrate technology in designing, implementing and evaluating learning. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge of students of the Architectural Engineering Education Study Program who are also prospective teachers. The research method used is descriptive evaluative with a quantitative approach. Retrieval of data using a survey method of 35 respondents from students of the Architectural Engineering Education Study Program who have been and are currently participating in the Field Experience Program at Vocational High Schools in various regions in West Java. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire where each statement was based on each TPACK component. The results showed that the average level of understanding of Architectural Engineering students towards TPACK was in the good category. The highest value is in the aspect of Technology Knowledge (TK), which is knowledge about technology with a very high category.

Engineering Drawing is one of the compulsory courses in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Indonesia. This course aims to equip students with basic understanding and skills in drawing. In this case, this study aimed to develop learning media in the form of interactive multimedia determining the level of eligibility of the developed multimedia, and testing the effectiveness of the developed multimedia in enhancing students’ understanding of the basic concepts of engineering drawings. For this reason, this study used an R and D design with the 4D model to produce and test the effectiveness of the developed multimedia. The product validity test was carried out by two experts, namely one material expert and one media expert. The effectiveness test, onegroup pretest-posttest design was carried out by involving 28 students of the Mechanical Engineering Education study program at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Bali, Indonesia. The results showed that both material and media experts agreed that the developed multimedia was suitable for teaching equipment in the lecture process. The effectiveness test also showed that multimedia developed effectively increased students’ understanding of the basic concepts of engineering drawings. The use of interactive multimedia could improve students' motivation and independence in learning, thus increasing their understanding of the Engineering Drawing course concepts.

The skills to construct and interpret graphs are a form of science skills and are an important component in learning physics. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of undergraduate physics education students to construct graphs based on practicum data and interpret them. Data obtained through respondent answer sheets, thinking-aloud recordings, and interviews. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Untad and the research subjects of the Physics Education Study Program students were 6 people obtained based on the values of Basic Physics I and Basic Physics practicum II then divided into three groups of levels (high, medium, and low) with each category as many as 2 people. The results of this study indicate: 1) in general, respondents in the high, medium, and low categories can construct graphs but are not based on the prerequisite ability to construct graphs, especially in determining the x-axis and y-axis variables, 2) on the ability to interpret graphs, respondents can interpret graphs the relationship between variables on the graph but not supported by an explanation or evaluation based on proper physics concepts, 3) The strategy used by respondents in constructing graphs, in general, is to convert data in decimal form or scientific notation and 4) The difficulties experienced by respondents when constructing graphs are converting data, determining the scale and how to determine the variables on each graph axis.

The use of E-Learning applications is currently very much needed in overcoming gaps in face-to-face lectures along with technological developments and learning gaps during the pandemic. This study aims to develop an Android-based ISpring Suite 8.0 learning application for Mechanical Engineering Education Students as one of the E-Learning facilities in the Learning Outcomes Assessment course. In addition, this study aims to determine the feasibility of applications and student perceptions of the applications being developed. This study uses research and development methods. The results of the feasibility test data for the learning application from media experts can be obtained by a percentage of the feasibility of 91.4% in the very feasible category, for the results from material experts of 76.9% in the feasible category, for the results of the respondent's assessment of the product trial by 86% in the category. very feasible, and the results of the respondents' assessment on the usage test were 83.8% in the very feasible category. In addition, students' perceptions and expectations of the Mobile Learning application in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program amounted to 80%. Based on the criteria of Steer (1993), thus, the level of satisfaction is between (80% - 100%) which means high satisfaction, so the quality of the Mobile Learning application is perceived by users to achieve high satisfaction.

The number theory is the first mathematics content course in the UPH FIP Mathematics Education study program, which does not have a response class. The response class was conducted as a companion to four content subjects with close relations with school mathematics content, namely Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Geometry, and Linear Algebra. Based on the questionnaire that has been distributed, prospective mathematics teachers consider that the response class is beneficial for them in attending lectures and in exploring related mathematical concepts. However, on the other hand, students inevitably have to go back to learning to be determined with the response class. The implication is that students' self-regulated learning will not develop optimally. However, self-regulated learning is an essential aspect that prospective teachers need to have. This research was conducted to see how self-regulated learning of future mathematics teachers in number theory courses. The research instruments used are questionnaires, the scale of self-regulated learning, and interviews. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results of this study are that most students have a moderate level of learning independence. The aspects or indicators of learning independence that need special attention are setting learning goals/targets. Prospective teacher students need to continue to train and develop their learning independence to become professional teachers who continue to develop along with the times.
