The importance of the research lies in studying the effect of applying exercises using laser sensor device on the development of time and accuracy in inter passing for young soccer players. The problem of the research lies in interpassing weakness. The research aimed at designing an apparatus for training players as well as preparing exercises. The researcher used the experimental method on  20 players. After two pilot studies, the training program began for (10) weeks with 3 training sessions per week. The data was collected and treated using proper statistical operations to conclude that the apparatus designed by the researcher as well as the exercises were very effective.

The study aimed at designing compound exercises using added weight on some skill abilities in youth soccer players aged (17 – 19) years old. The researcher sued the experimental method on (30) players aged (17 – 19) years old from Al Zawraa Sport Club. The subjects were divided into three groups and the training program was applied for (8) weeks with (3) training sessions per week. The data was collected and treated using proper statistical operations to conclude that compound exercises with weights between improved the subjects compared to the groups that did not use the added weights. Finally, the researchers recommended the necessity of using compound exercises using added weights during training sessions for youth soccer players.

The importance of the research lies in physical fitness as an important component in soccer and the problem of the research lies in differences in training programs from one place to another and not benefiting from great countries experiences. The research aimed at making a comparative study on the effect of a training program used for a certain period of time as well as identifying differences between pre and post-tests. The researchers hypothesized significant statistical differences in test results in favor of posttests. The researcher used the experimental method for 45 days on Russian players aged (14- 15) years old. The researcher concluded significant statistical differences in posttests.

The researcher aimed at planning an endurance program with varied motor pathways for young soccer players. The study was conducted on (24) young soccer players from Al Arbil sport club. The subjects were divided into two groups of (12) players. The researcher used the experimental method to conclude that the training program improved and developed endurance abilities as well as varied endurance training with varied motor pathways have a positive effect on endurance abilities.

Effect of Small Sided Games and Interval Training on Aerobic Endurance of U-17 Soccer Players AbstractThis study aims to compare the effect of small sided games and interval training on the aerobic endurance of U-17 soccer players. 24 soccer players under 17 attended a 6-week training program divided into 2 groups: SSG group (n = 12) and IT group (n = 12). The research instrument used was Yo-Yo Intermitten Recovery Test. Two-way ANOVA is used for data analysis. Players from both groups showed a similar increase in aerobic endurance during the 6-week training period. These results indicate that SSG and IT are equally effective in developing the aerobic endurance in U-17 soccer players (p 0.05).

Background: Change-of-direction (CoD) is a necessary physical ability of a field sport and may vary in youth players according to their maturation status. Objectives: The aim of this study is: to compare the effectiveness of a 6-week CoD training intervention on dynamic balance (CS-YBT), horizontal jump (5JT), speed (10 and 30-m linear sprint times), CoD with (15 m-CoD + B) and without (15 m-CoD) the ball, in youth male soccer players at different levels of maturity [pre- and post-peak height velocity (PHV)].Materials and Methods: Thirty elite male youth soccer players aged 10–17 years from the Tunisian first division participated in this study. The players were divided into pre- (G1, n = 15) and post-PHV (G2, n = 15) groups. Both groups completed a similar 6-week training program with two sessions per week of four CoD exercises. All players completed the following tests before and after intervention: CS-YBT; 5 JT; 10, 30, and 15 m-CoD; and 15 m-CoD + B, and data were analyzed using ANCOVA.Results: All 30 players completed the study according to the study design and methodology. Adherence rate was 100% across all groups, and no training or test-related injuries were reported. Pre-PHV and post-PHV groups showed significant amelioration post-intervention for all dependent variables (after test > before test; p < 0.01, d = 0.09–1.51). ANOVA revealed a significant group × time interaction only for CS-YBT (F = 4.45; p < 0.04; η2 = 0.14), 5JT (F = 6.39; p < 0.02; η2 = 0.18), and 15 m-CoD (F = 7.88; p < 0.01; η2 = 0.22). CS-YBT, 5JT, and 15 m-CoD improved significantly in the post-PHV group (+ 4.56%, effect size = 1.51; + 4.51%, effect size = 1.05; and -3.08%, effect size = 0.51, respectively), more than the pre-PHV group (+ 2.77%, effect size = 0.85; + 2.91%, effect size = 0.54; and -1.56%, effect size = 0.20, respectively). Conclusion: The CoD training program improved balance, horizontal jump, and CoD without the ball in male preadolescent and adolescent soccer players, and this improvement was greater in the post-PHV players. The maturity status of the athletes should be considered when programming CoD training for soccer players.

AbstractThe goal of this study was to assess the effects of a supervised slackline training program in a group of soccer players. Thirty-four male division I under-19 players (16.64 ± 0.81 years) agreed to participate in the study. They were randomly divided into an experimental group (EG) and a control group (CG). The first group (EG) followed a 6-week supervised slackline training program (3 sessions/week; 5-9 min/session), while the CG performed only regular soccer training. Several variables were assessed in all participants: acceleration (20-m sprint test), agility (90º turns test), jump performance (squat jump, countermovement jump), and postural control (Center of Pressure ( CoP) testing: length, area, speed, Xmean, Ymean, Xspeed, Yspeed, Xdeviation, Ydeviation). Ratings of perceived exertion and local muscle ratings of perceived exertions were also recorded after each slackline training session. At post-tests, there was a significant increase only in the EG in acceleration, agility, squat jump and countermovement jump performance, as well as several CoP variables: area in the bipedal support on a firm surface, and length, area and speed in the left leg on a firm surface. The program was rated as “somewhat hard” by the players, while quadriceps, gastrocnemius and tibialis anterior were the most exerted muscles while slacklining. In conclusion, slackline training can be an effective training tool for young, high-level soccer players.
