   The research aimed at designing a training program using electronic and in-field training to identify the differences between tests for both groups. In addition to that, it aimed at identifying the differences between posttests for both groups under study. Karate athletes from Karate Improvement Organization in Sulyamania governorate. The researchers used the experimental method on (12) athletes to conclude that electronic learning group has developed in some physical abilities understudy compared to pretest in favor of the posttests. The electronic style used by the experimental group highly affected the psychological, functional, and emotional aspects of athletes during COVID 19. In addition to that, the results showed that using both electronic and in-field training has a positive effect on developing special physical abilities.

This research was carried out with the aim of examining the impact of communication training based on ‘from the child to mother approach’ on the communication of the mothers with their children attending mobile preschools. The sample comprised 80 children attending mobile preschool and mothers of those children. Two of the five neighborhoods served by the mobile preschool were designated randomly as experiment groups and the remaining as control groups. There were 33 children and mothers in the experimental group and 47 in the control group. The data was collected by General Information Form and Parent-Child Communication Evaluation Tool. During the course of the research, the Communication Training Program prepared by the researcher and based on the Child to Mother Approach was applied to the experimental group for two days in a week during eight weeks. In order to examine the impact of Communication Training Program on mother-child communication, t-test was conducted for both the independent group and the dependent group. Statistical significance was set at .05. As a result of the analyses, it has been determined that the Communication Training Program has a positive effect on communication between mothers and children and this effect is permanent. In line with the results of the research, suggestions for preschool education teachers, parents and researchers are presented.

The proponents of frequent quizzes claim that they stimulate students and have a positive effect on their learning, while the opponents argue that too frequent quizzes might frustrate students and hinder their learning. This study examined the effect of frequent quizzes on Iranian undergraduate English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners’ pronunciation achievement. The nonequivalent group, pretest-posttest design was employed to study two classes of English literature and English teaching students, who were taking the Phonology Course, at Kosar University of Bojnord (KUB) as the experimental group (EG) and control group (CG) respectively. Two 40-item pronunciation tests were developed based on the 3rd edition of the book Ship or Sheep written by Baker (2006). The reliability of the tests was estimated 0.78 and 0.81 respectively through KR-21 formula. After the pretest administration, both groups were exposed to the same activities; however, only the EG took the quizzes every other session. At the end of the training program, the pretests were rearranged and used as the posttests. The results of the independent samples t-tests from the posttests revealed that the EG had a better performance than the CG suggesting that EFL learners’ pronunciation achievement can improve if quizzes are used every other session.

Purpose: to determine the effect of water plyometric training on such components of motor skills as explosive power, agility and speed in young players. Develop practical recommendations for building a training process to improve the motor skills of athletes. Material and methods: when divided into groups of players was used a parallel randomized method with the creation of experimental and control equal groups of 20 players in each group (age 16.25 ± 1.0 years, height 168 ± 3.0 cm, body weight 61, 03 ± 4.0 kg). The duration of the experimental program was 2 months. The water plyometric training program (APT) was used in the experimental group, while the ground plyometric training program (LPT) was used in the control group. Results. In the experimental group was found to increase the jump in height by 21.05%, long jump - by 8.84%. The experimental group also found a significant increase in dexterity by 9.35% with a significance level less than 0.05, a value of t = 7.19. Dexterity as a physical ability combines many other physical abilities, such as speed, strength, power. In the experimental group was also found a significant increase in speed by 12.50% at a significance level less than 0.05. Conclusions. Plyometric training in the water increased the strength of the muscles of the legs of football players, while the majestic vertical jump increased by 21.05%, and the distance of the horizontal jump - by 8.84%. In addition, for 2 months, the training program contributed to the development of dexterity by 9.35% and an increase in speed by 12.50%. The use of ground plyometric training also improves physical abilities, but with fewer indicators of significant change than plyometric training in water.

The researcher aimed at planning an endurance program with varied motor pathways for young soccer players. The study was conducted on (24) young soccer players from Al Arbil sport club. The subjects were divided into two groups of (12) players. The researcher used the experimental method to conclude that the training program improved and developed endurance abilities as well as varied endurance training with varied motor pathways have a positive effect on endurance abilities.

The purpose of the present study was to assess the effects of a Pilates training program on muscular strength and flexibility in dance students. Fifteen dance students were divided into 2 groups: experimental (n=7) and control (n=8). Both were assessed in beginning and in the end of the study. Muscular strength was assessed measuring the time supported in the technical skills penché and developpé. To asses flexibility, it was measured the angle between limbs in the technical skills arabesque, developpé and cambré. After the first moment of evaluation, the experimental group performed a Mat-Based Pilates Exercise during 11 weeks. The statistic analyses (two-way analysis of variance - ANOVA 2x2) showed significant differences (p ≤ 0,05) in muscular strength and flexibility measurements between groups after the training program. It was concluded that Pilates training has a positive effect on muscular strength and flexibility in dance students.

Goal of research - the study aims to examine the osteopathic profi le of children with dysarthria and to develop recommendations for osteopathic correction of somatic dysfunctions in 2-3 year old children presenting this pathology.Materials and methods. 30 2-3 year old children with the symptoms of dysarthria took part in the research. All the children were divided into 2 groups: the control group of 15 children received standard treatment, and the experimental group of 15 children received both standard and osteopathic treatment. The dysarthria severity and the osteopathic profi le were evaluated with account of the number of somatic dysfunctions at global, regional, and local levels.Results. The osteopathic correction was shown to have a positive effect on dysarthria severity. The study established a correlation between the dysarthria severity in children and the number of somatic dysfunctions at the local level.Conclusion. The study suggests using osteopathic correction of somatic dysfunctions in the complex therapy of dysarthria in children.

Over the last three decades, a growing number of studies have investigated the effects of instruction on the acquisition of pragmatic features in L2. The bulk of this research has focused mainly on the teaching of English as a second/foreign language. However, instructional pragmatic studies in L2-Russian are lacking. The main purpose of our study is to contribute towards filling this gap by analysing the effects of pragmatic instruction on the acquisition of two speech acts by Italian learners of Russian. Furthermore, we aim to explore whether the Multimodal Russian Corpus (MURCO), a multimedia subcorpus of the Russian National Corpus, can be an effective tool for teaching speech acts in L2-Russian. Our research was composed of one experimental group (n = 18) and one control group (n = 11); each was composed of two intact classes of Italian university students at an intermediate level of L2-Russian, who were pre- and post-tested using a written discourse completion task. The experimental group was subjected to a programme of pragmatic instruction – eight thirty-minute MURCO-based lessons devoted to requests and advice, while the control group was taught according to the standard syllabus, that is, with no pragmatic instruction. The results revealed that the use of the target pragmatic features varied significantly in the experimental group, but not in the control group, thus showing a general positive effect of the instructional treatment based on the MURCO corpus. However, some limitations were identified with regard to the usability of this tool by teachers and learners.

Abstract Background Thalassemia have a negative impact on the patients' psychological health and sleep quality. This study aimed to determine the effects of a positive thinking training program on hope and sleep quality of patients with thalassemia major. Methods This randomized clinical trial was conducted on 78 patients with thalassemia major including 36 males (46.2%) and 42 females (53.8%) with a mean age of 25.56 ± 29.6 in Iran. Subjects were randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. Experimental group received 16 h training based on positive thinking materials published by Martin Seligman. Control group received only usual programs. Data were collected at baseline, as well as immediately and one month after the intervention, using Snyder’s Hope Scale and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Data analysis was performed using SPSS Software 18.0; statistical tests included the independent T-test, the Chi-square, Mann Whitney, and Friedman test. Significance level was set at 0.05 in this study. Results The experimental group had a significantly higher mean hope score compared to the control group immediately (45.38 ± 7.82 vs. 35.32 ± 5.54, P < 0.001) and one month following intervention (44.67 ± 3.47 vs. 35 ± .54, P < 0.001). Moreover, the mean sleep quality scores of the experimental group was significantly greater than that for control group immediately (5.35 ± 2.02 vs. 7 ± 2.4, P = 0.004) and one month after the intervention (4.23 ± 2.2 vs.7.02 ± 3.03, P < 0.001). Conclusion Since our training program on positive thinking improved hope and quality of sleep in patients with thalassemia major, we recommend the use of such courses as an important step toward promotion of hope and sleep quality among these patients. AbstractTrack and field sports are known as the "mother of sports". Whether in the field of athletics, fitness, or education, modern track and field sports have developed rapidly. The field of athletics has reached the point where it challenges the limits of humans. The development of China is inseparable from the support of science and technology, and it is inseparable from human scientific research on track and field sports. In order to improve the scientific level of track and field training methods and develop our country's sports industry, this paper designs a track and field training information collection and feedback system based on multi-sensor information fusion. In the method part, this article briefly introduces the content of track and field sports, the mode of multi-sensor information fusion and the existing sports information collection system, using weight coefficient fusion method, D-S evidence theory algorithm and Kalman filter algorithm. This paper designs an information collection and feedback system based on multi-sensor information fusion, and conducts demand analysis, comparative analysis, and data record analysis on this system. By designing the experimental group and the control group, it can be seen that the average performance of the two groups of athletes in the 50-meter run in 8 weeks has improved, and the data of the experimental group and the control group show significant differences. After the experiment, the average performance of the male athletes in the control group increased from around 8.32 to around 8.12, an increase of 4.7%. The performance of male athletes in the experimental group increased from 8.37 to 7.92, an increase of 5.6%. It can also be known that before the experiment, the average performance of the athletes in the selected control group was due to the experimental group, but after 8 weeks of experiment, the increase in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. This shows that the data collection and feedback system using multi-sensor information fusion can be more accurately and differentiatedly applied to track and field training, and can find problems in athletes, so as to prescribe the right medicine.
