he Prapanca 2 Surabaya Vocational High School (SMK) majoring in accounting is one entity that is willing to compete and is skilled and professional inwelcoming the Industrial Revolution 4.0. So far, the principal has prepared a strategy to improve the quality of graduates to suit the needs of the businessmarket (Business World (DU)/Industrial World (DI)). Some of the strategies used in aligning education with the demands of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution erainclude improving the quality of sarpras (facilities and infrastructure) in the learning process based on industrial needs (Link and Match) during the IndustrialRevolution 4.0 period, the fulfillment of DU/DI standard facilities and infrastructure and increasing teacher competence is focused on the era of theIndustrial Revolution 4.0. The role of the principal has a point of view broad, open, disciplined, firm, and committed.

School is one of the institutions in transferring the balance between moral values to students in the learning process, so as to create innovations to improve the quality of institutions nationally. Yehonala School, one of the schools in Batam City that focuses on developing and shaping the characteristics of educators. Yehonala School is a National Plus based school in partnership with Cambridge University Press, and the motto is 'To Grow in Wisdom!' starting from the Play Group level, Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK). Yehonala School has an image as "The Best Learning Place for Children", the image is obtained through superior programs and achievements obtained from the Indonesia Achievement Center (IAC). The image that has been formed and attached to the Yehonala school in Batam City. This, of course, cannot be separated from the role of Yehonala School's Public Relations in maintaining that image first during the current pandemic. This research is based on an analysis of systems theory and the concept of the four roles of Public Relations proposed by Cutlip, Center and Broom. The type of research applied in this research is descriptive qualitative, the data collection applied in this research is in-depth interviews. The analytical method applied in this research is the Miles and Huberman analysis technique called the interactive model. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of PR as a communication technician in maintaining an image during a pandemic. The results of the study found that three coding findings related to the role of Yehonala School's Public Relations as a communication technician, namely: (1) Utilization of Social Media (2) Social Media Content (3) The resulting reaction. The role of Yehonala school's PR is only as a communication technician and Yehonala's school implements a closed system because PR does not act as an information seeker.

The relevance of education is one of the problems that until now is still difficult to find the solution. The relevance of education itself is the suitability of educational programs conducted by educational institutions with the needs of the community as users or educational stakeholders. To equip the graduates so as to meet the needs of stakeholders, the position of Vocational High School (SMK) is one of the spearheads, it is because SMK is considered able to guarantee three education domains, namely the attitude, knowledge and skills that integrated in the best education pattern so that the graduates are appropriate with the needs of the business / industry (link and match). Vocational High School of Sunan Drajat Lamongan is one of the schools that is able to provide programs that can match the needs of Lamongan stakeholders with more than 50% of their graduates are able to be accepted in Business World / Industry. This reseach aims to reveal and analyze the strategic role and impact of the strategic role of public relations in the stakeholder-oriented excellent school Vocational High School of Sunan Drajat Lamongan. This research is a qualitative type with case study approach. Data collection was done by interview and documentation method. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings is done by crediblity method with the techniques of triangulation of sources and methods and techniques of peer discussion. The informants of this research are principal, vice principal (public relation, curriculum, student, facilities and infrastructure), head of skill competence, productive teacher, administration staff of SMK Sunan Drajat Lamongan and graduate users. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the role of stretegis of public relation of SMK Sunan Drajat Lamongan, among others are on: (a) curriculum field, (b) field of facilities and infrastructure, (c) field of student, (e) head of skill competence, (2) the impact of the strategic role of SMK Sunan Drajat Lamongan, among others are on: (a) schools, are on: (1) curriculum, (2) facilities and infrastructure, (3) student,  (4) head master, (5) productive teachers and head of skill competence, (6) institution itself, (b) stakeholders, ie: (1) stakeholders know the program and the skill program developed by school, (2) the stakeholder need for labor is easy to obtain, (3) stakeholders are able to participate in the school program by providing input/suggestions related to the students' abilities and skills.

This research seeks to help the business continuity of the school cooperative, to solve the problem of cooperative sustainability as a learning center for students to improve the quality of education and relevance to the business world, access, efficiency and relevance of education to make higher competence of students in the senior high school level. Researchers see that school cooperatives have not been well managed because management resources do not maximize their potential, and the sustainability and development of school cooperatives tend to be stagnant, whereas the opportunity in order to maximize the cooperative's economic potential to improve the welfare of students is very wide open. School cooperatives also serve as laboratories for students to implement a dual system education is not optimal in its implementation, the involvement of students only to maintain the store, not to the stage of implementation of good management. This paper will explain how school cooperatives management in business vocational high school in Jakarta with qualitative research method

Vocational High School has an essential role in preparing the competent workers for the industry. To encounter the 4.0 industrial revolution era, Vocational High Schools must be able to keep up with developments by revitalizing a roadmap so the graduates have in line competencies with the industry’s needs. The revitalization of the Vocational High School roadmaps is inseparable from the principles of 2013 curriculum, the improvement of teacher’s quality competencies through training in the industry, and the application of student-centred learning models, such as; Project Based Learning (PrBL), Problem Based Learning (PBL) that emphasizes on ability for innovation and creativity, the improvement of education personnel’s competence, and the collaboration with business and industrial world. The fulfilment of eight Indonesia National Education Standards (NES) has become absolute. The finding of this study are four main aspects as the basic of vocational road maps revitalization, namely; (1) synchronizing the curriculum with industry, (2) revitalizing the quality of teaching staff and education personnel, (3) revitalizing facilities and infrastructure, (4) optimizing cooperation with industry, and (5) strengthening soft skills competence.

Abstract: The success of schools in improving the quality of education cannot be separated from the role of the principal. Headmaster. This study aims to describe (1) the role of the principal as empowering the human resources of the teaching and educational staff. (2) supporting factors for the success of school principals as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff. (3) obstacles faced by school principals as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff. (4) Headmasters' efforts as empowering human resources for teaching and educational staff in overcoming school problems. This research uses a multi-site study. This research was conducted at Senior High School YKHS and Senior High School Darul Munir. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and study documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) the role of the head of YKHS and Darul Munir senior high schools as empowering human resources is to involve teachers and staff in managing school programs, managing curriculum, creating a conducive learning climate and achievement, involving teachers in training to improve their competence, facilitate facilities and infrastructure to support school activities, plan budgets, conduct student management activities, specifically assign teachers to oversee the program, and conduct supervision. (3) Internal factors that support success are the togetherness of the teachers to optimize their potential and the sincere desire to run the school program that has been planned together. External factors are strong student guardian support for programs that have been run by schools. (3) Internal constraints faced are limited time from teachers to carry out or run the program to the maximum extent possible. The external obstacle is the student's guardian awareness of the school program. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efisiensi eksternal pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Yogyakarta dengan sudut pandang nilai guna kemampuan lulusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Sumber data adalah dokumentasi dan informan dari alumni SMK di Kota Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan keterserapan lulusan SMK di Kota Yogyakarta belum tercapai dengan maksimal. SMK belum mampu memberikan manfaat seperti yang diharapkan kepada seluruh lulusan. Oleh karena itu efisiensi eksternal pendidikan kejuruan di Kota Yogyakarta disimpulkan tidak efisien. Kesesuaian pengajaran di sekolah dengan perkembangan dunia kerja/industri belum sepenuhnya baik. Di sisi lain, terdapat beberapa manfaat dari pendidikan SMK bagi siswa antara lain: Mendapat pengalaman kerja melalui program Magang, PKL, atau prakerin; Mendapat peluang kerja di dunia usaha dan industri; Berwirausaha dengan keterampilan yang didapat; Pendidikan menengah kejuruan bisa melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan lebih tinggi. Sedangkan dari survai kepuasan diketahui alumni merasa puas terhadap lembaga sekolahnya. Namun terdapat beberapa informan yang merasa kurang puas antara lain kesesuaian kurikulum dengan dunia industri, keberadaan pembelajaran soft skill di lembaga pendidikan, bimbingan guru selama prakerin, jumlah kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana praktik, dan kesesuaian sarana prasarana praktik dengan dunia industri. The external efficiency of vocational education in YogyakartaAbstractThis research aims to describe of external efficiency of vocational education (SMK) in Yogyakarta with point of view of the values of graduates’ ability. This research used the qualitative approach of phenomenology. The data sources were the documentation and the informants of graduates of Vocational High School in Yogyakarta. The data collection was done through document analysis and interview. The data analysis technique included of collecting data, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The research finding reveals that the absorption of vocational high schools graduates in Yogyakarta have not been reached maximally. Vocational high schools cannot enable to give the benefits as expected for the graduates. So, the external efficiency of vocational education in Yogyakarta can be concluded that is inefficient. The instructional conformity of the school that related to the development of working field/industry is not good enough. In other hand, there are some benefits of Vocational education for students such as: getting experience in the work field through the internship program, PKL, or prakerin; getting job opportunity in the business world and industry; entrepreneurship with the skill that got; Vocational High School Education can continue to the advanced study. Meanwhile, based on the survey of satisfaction is known that the graduates feel satisfied toward their school education. However, there are some informan that are not satisfied with the conformity of curriculum related to the industry field, the existence of learning soft skill in the school education, the teacher’s guide during prakerin, the number of completeness of practicum tools, and the conformity of practicum tools with the industry field.

This study aims to determine and describe the role of school principals in improving the quality of education in SD Negeri 4 Air Kumbang District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection tools use documentation, interviews, observation and literature review. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative analysis technique which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and ferification. The results of the study state that the role of the principal in an effort to improve the quality of education in SD Negeri 4 Air Kumbang District is carried out by establishing a program to improve the quality of learning by implementing a program to improve the quality of learning into the vision and mission of the school then the principal communicates the vision and mission of the school related to standards quality of learning; and improving the quality of education through interpersonal teacher competence by encouraging teachers to improve their competence and teaching ability. The principal should improve his competence so that the role can have a maximum impact in efforts to improve the quality of education.

Kajian ini dimaksudkan untuk menentukan peran kelas kewirausahaan dalam menanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan, nilai, dan pengalaman siswa SMK Tata Boga dalam menyiapkan lulusan yang memiliki jiwa mandiri yang saat ini menjadi tantangan dalam pendidikan, yaitu antara lain: meningkatnya jumlah dan kualitas pendidikan kejuruan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan global dan lokal, dan menghasilkan tenaga kerja yang kreatif. Tujuan yang menarik adalah 70% lulusan SMK dapat bekerja setiap tahun. Hal ini memerlukan perlakuan. fasilitas, dukungan, dan upaya-upaya untuk mencapai kewirausahaan untuk mencapai kualitas lulusan sekolah kejuruan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Progrm ini harus didisain berdasarkan kurikulum yang didisain dan dikembangkan kebutuhan stakeholders. Kelas kewirausahaan menerapkan kurikulum terintegrasi ke dalam mata pelajaran produktif. Dalam kelas kewirausahaan diharapkan dapat lebih efektif dalam menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan dan kemandirian sehingga lulusan akan lebih memiliki jiwa yang bebas di dalam setiap situasi. THE ROLES OF ENTERPRENEURSHIP CLASS FOR VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF TOURISMAbstractThis study aimed to determine the role of the entrepreneurial class in cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit, values and skills of SMK culinary student, to prepare graduates who have the spirit of independence as a responde to the current challenges including quantity and quality of vocational education to meet local, national, and global needs. The interesting objective is that about 70% of graduates shold be employed. In addition SMK generally provides entrepreneurship training in services. It need treatment, facilitatation, and encouragement of learners in order to become independence, responsible, creative, innovative, sporty, and entrepreneurship efforts to achieve the quality of vocational education graduates that meet the need of work place. Entrepreneurial class implements integrated subjects of vocational entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurial class is expected to be more effective in growing entrepreneurship spirit and independence of the prospective graduates of culinary tourism program.
