This service aims to solve partner problems (teachers of 49 and 53 Junior High School Makassar City), namely developing 21st century learning tools to increase teacher pedagogical potential. The form of this service is training with direct assistance. Output targets in training activities are (1) Increasing teacher knowledge in developing 21st century-based learning tools, namely learning implementation plans (lesson plans), worksheets, and assessment instruments; (2) Increase teacher knowledge in developing teacher competency. Output targets in mentoring activities are to produce products in the form of learning tools based on 21st century learning including Product Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheet Products, and Product Assessment Instruments. The dedication method used to achieve the goal (output) is by adopting a mechanism for implementing action research which consists of 4 (four) stages, namely: planning, action, observation-evaluation, and reflection. The planning stage is the preparation stage, the action stage is the core stage (the realization of the IbM in the form of training and mentoring, the observation and evaluation stage is the stage of measuring the success of the program, while the reflection stage is the policy making stage (strategic step) in continuing the program to improve things that have been done before The results of the teacher training assistance at 49 and 53 Junior High School Makassar City are categorized as successful and very active in developing 21st century based learning tools.

The mentoring and training activities for junior high school teachers in the innovation of the Caring Community-based PBL learning model go through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the planning stage, the process of identifying problems, making work plans (work plans), and classifying teaching practice tasks is carried out. There are 5 groups with the same target material. At the implementation stage, it consists of two stages; 1) training on caring community learning models with a student centered approach which includes group model class management techniques, learning media design. 2) mentoring the learning practices of junior high school teachers in the classroom based on the ability level group, group L, and group M. Evaluation activities are carried out at the end of the activity to make improvements to mistakes, teacher weaknesses in the process of implementing the learning model.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan soal matematika model TIMSS yang valid dan praktis untuk siswa SMP berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Proses pendesainan soal sebagai instrumen penilaian dilakukan dengan prototyping. Prototyping meliputi dua tahap. Prototipe I merupakan hasil desain dan penyusunan soal-soal oleh peneliti sendiri, sedang prototipe II revisi dari prototipe I berdasarkan masukan dari pakar, teman sejawat, dan guru matematika, yang berupa catatan validator dan notulensi diskusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku soal yang disusun dengan pengelompokan bab mengikuti ranah materi seperti dalam TIMSS, yakni bilangan, geometri, aljabar, data dan peluang. Buku soal untuk siswa tidak perlu ada tulisan mengenai ranah materi, topik pokok, dan ranah kognitif. Masukan untuk perbaikan dari FGD adalah soal sebaiknya diawali dari yang mudah, sedang, baru yang sulit. Penulisan soal pilihan ganda lebih baik tidak menggunakan kalimat tanya, melainkan dengan membuat pernyataan yang memuat titik-titik, baik di tengah atau di akhir kalimat. Soal sebaiknya tidak memuat pernyataan implikasi. Kata kunci: Pengembangan soal, matematika SMP, TIMSS, Kurikulum 2013DEVELOPING THE TIMSS MATH PROBLEM MODEL TO SUPPORT THE MATHEMATICS LEARNING IN GRADE VII USING THE 2013 CURRICULUM Abstract: This study was aimed to produce a valid and practical TIMMS math problem model for junior high school students using the 2013 curriculum. The study used the research and development design. The design process of the problems as assessment instruments was carried out through prototyping involving two stages. Prototype I was the design product and the problem development done by the researchers themselves, while Prototype II was the revision of Prototype I based on the feedback provided by experts, colleagues, and Mathematics teachers in the form of validators’ notes and the minutes taken from discussions. The findings showed that the book of math problems was written by grouping the chapters following the materials domains as those in TIMSS, that is, numbers, geometry, algebra, data, and probability. For the student book, it was not nsecessary to write the materials domain, the essential topics, and the cognitive domain. The feedback from the FGD was that the problems should be arranged from the easiest ones to the most difficult ones. The multiple choice items should not be written in the form of questions, but in the form of incomplete sentences with the blanks in the middle or the end of the sentences. The development of a descriptive text assessment instrument must be considered in the regularity of the questions in accordance with the question grid. Based on the results of observations at Junior High School (SMP) Methodist Charles Wesley Medan, the teacher gave a questionnaire only in the form of essay questions (explanations) even though, in tests or tests carried out it was actually not just essays, but multiple choices. The competence of science teachers in Padang City Junior High Schools in developing learning tools is still low, as revealed by the teacher's pre-test abilities before the workshop is held. Pre-test includes gathering information about learning resources, learning media, models / methods / approaches, and assessment instruments used by teachers not yet utilizing the environment. Referring to the problems of teachers, problem-based workshop activities are designed in an effort to improve teacher competencies in designing learning tools based on environmental potential. Problem-based workshops have stages: (1) problem identification, (2) Focusing on problems, (3) Finding alternative solutions, (4) Presentation of solutions; (5) Implementation and (6) Reflection & follow-up. The workshop was attended by 20 junior high school science teachers in Padang city. The workshop activities consisted of 2 parts, namely the workshop activities at FMIPA UNP and the Implementation activities at SMP 25 Padang. Problem-based workshops succeeded in increasing teacher competence in designing IPA-based environmental learning tools. The results of the implementation of the workshop products by the teacher showed a positive influence on student involvement and activity in learning

<pre><em>This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students </em><em>of junior high school</em><em> in the academic year 2017/2018 through the use of learning aids.</em></pre><pre><em>This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of </em><em>of junior high school amount</em><em> 32 students. Sources of data in this study come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques are by observation and evaluation of learning outcomes. Data analysis used descriptive techniques based on qualitative analysis with percentages.</em></pre><pre><em>The results of the analysis of research data can be presented as follows starting from pre-action to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. In pre-action, students have not shown good learning outcomes, excellent categories with a percentage of 0%, good categories with a percentage of 3.125% or 1 student from 32 students, enough categories with a percentage of 53.125% or 17 students from 32 students, less categories with percentages 37.5% or 12 students from 32 students, then the category is very low with a percentage of 6.25% or 2 students from 32 students. In the first cycle the category is very good with a percentage of 0%, a good category with a percentage of 3.125% or 1 student from 32 students, enough categories with a percentage of 68.75% or 22 students from 32 students, a category with a percentage of 28.125% or 9 students from 32 students, and very few categories with a percentage of 0%, from the data there can be a number of 23 students have reached the criteria of completion while 9 students have not yet completed. In cycle II it reached a very good percentage of 0%, a good category of 18.75% or 6 students of 32 students, quite a category of 65.625% or 21 students of 32 students, a category of 15.625% or 5 students of 32 students, and less than 0% . So that from the data it can be seen that 27 students reach the criteria of completion while 5 students have not finished with the number of students 32 students.</em></pre><em>The conclusion of this study is that the use of learning aids can improve the learning outcomes of floor gymnastics of junior high school.</em>

Online learning is a basic need of education in the 21st century. The benefits of online learning are felt in the continuity of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine the impact of online learning on the learning motivation of Junior High School students. The results of the research discussion indicate that online learning has advantages, namely 1) as a medium to encourage independent learning; 2) as an effort to modernize the concept of education in the 21st century; 3) increasing the intensity of the interaction between teachers and students; 3) allows for an interaction that is not limited to space and time, and 4) meaningful learning. The impact of online learning on student learning motivation tends to be negative due to the unpreparedness of various parties, including teachers, parents, students, and schools. Early adolescents who need direct guidance, direction, and motivation must lose control due to reduced direct interaction with the teacher. The monotonous implementation of online learning, lack of direction and supervision, pressure for students to study from home, and low teacher innovation are the main causes of decreased learning motivation due to online learning.

This study is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aimed to improve students' attitudes, skills and knowledge on additives and addictive substances using Discovery learning model. This study was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of As Shiddiqiyah Junior High School in the first semester with a total of 30 students. Data analysis was carried out with quantitative descriptive techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the attitude of students in the learning process had increased, it was known from the results of the average classroom observations in the first cycle was 68.15 which had an increase in the second cycle to 81.14. The skills of students in the first cycle obtained an average yield of 71.36 which increased in cycle II to 84.11. The results of the written test in the first cycle of students' cycles were 59.61 in the second cycle to 81.07. The percentage value in the cycle is 31%, and increases in cycle II by 82%. Based on this study, classical achievement had exceeded 75%, it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes from the attitudes, skills and knowledge of students in additives and addictive substances in 8th grade As Shiddiqiyah Junior High School.                                                                 Keywords: Discovery Learning, Attitudes, Skills, Knowledge, Additives and Addictive Substances Abstrak. Tujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap, keterampilan dan pengetahuan siswa pada materi zat aditif  dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, tiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP As Shiddiqiyah semester I Tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh ranah sikap siswa pada proses belajar mengalami peningkatan, diketahui dari hasil observasi rata-rata kelas pada siklus I adalah sebesar 68,15 mengalami peningkatan di siklus II menjadi 81,14.  Keterampilan siswa pada siklus I memperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 71,36 mengalami peningkatan disiklus II menjadi 84,11. Hasil tes tertulis siswa disiklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 59,61 di siklus II menjadi 81,07. Nilai persentase di siklus sebesar 31% , dan meningkat di siklus II sebesar 82%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini pencapaian klasikal telah melampaui 75% , dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar dari sikap, keterampilan dan pengetahuan siswa pada materi zat aditif dan zat adiktif dikelas VIII SMP As Shiddiqiyah dalam kategori baik sekali. Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, Sikap, Keterampilan, Pengetahuan, Zat Aditif dan Zat Adiktif.

Textbooks are a basic requirement in learning. The availability of adequate textbooks determines the quality of learning. The Javanese textbooks used in learning, although generally stated to have met the standards by the government, need to get a feasibility assessment related to curriculum changes and 21st-century learning challenges. This study aims to describe the suitability of the contents of the Javanese textbooks for SMP in Semarang city with 2013 curriculum changes and 21st-century learning challenges.This research was conducted in the city of Semarang for 3 (three) months, starting from October to December 2019. The data in this study is evidence of the suitability of the contents of Javanese textbooks for junior high schools on the demands of 21st-century learning. The sources of data in this study are Junior high school Javanese language textbooks used in learning Javanese in the city of Semarang. The books are Marsudi Basa lan Sastra Jawa published by publishers Erlangga and Padha Bisa Basa Jawa published by Yudhistira publishers. Data collection techniques using document studies and interviews. Qualitative data analysis is inductive, that is analysis based on the data obtained. The data analysis step is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, the three of which run alongside the research process.The results of this study indicate that the three textbooks are feasible to be used as textbooks in school with some notes. At present, the indicators need to be modified again by the teacher so that they meet good indicator standards. In terms of song material, the teacher needs to find other references to interpret the song text.

Penelitian ini bertitik tolak adanya kesenjangan antara harapan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar fisika SMP, oleh sebab itu perlu diupayakan peningkatan mutu proses belajar mengajar melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan hakikat IPA dan standar kompetensi lulusan SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan dan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu berbasis software adobe flash CS6 pada materi energi dan makanan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif evaluatif yang menghasilkan media pembelajaran IPA terpadu yang valid dan praktis untuk siswa SMP. Media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan divalidasi oleh 2 ahli pembelajaran dan 3 ahli media menggunakan lembar validasi. Kepraktisan produk ditentukan berdasarkan respon 2 guru dan 20 siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang dikumpulkan menggunakan angket respon. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaaran dinyatakan valid, sedangkan respon yang diberikan guru dan siswa menunjukkan respon yang positif terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis media software adobe flash CS6 yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu pada materi energi dan makanan bagi siswa SMP. Validity and Practicality of Integrated Science Learning Tools Based on Adobe Flash Cs6 Software on Energy and Food Themes Abstract This research is based on the existence of a gap between learning expectations and learning outcomes for junior high school physics, therefore it is necessary to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process through the development of learning tools that are in accordance with the nature of science and competency standards for junior high school graduates. This study aims to describe the validity and practicality of integrated science learning tools based on Adobe Flash CS6 software on energy and food materials. This research is an evaluative descriptive research that produces an integrated science learning media that is valid and practical for junior high school students. The resulting learning media was validated by 2 learning experts and 3 media experts using a validation sheet. The practicality of the product is determined based on the responses of 2 teachers and 20 students to the learning media collected using a response questionnaire. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning media was declared valid, while the responses given by the teacher and students showed a positive response to the learning tools and learning media produced. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the adobe flash CS6 software media-based science learning device that was developed is valid and practical to use in integrated science learning on energy and food materials for junior high school students.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think Pair Share) untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar IPA Biologi siswa Kelas VIII.5 SMPN 4 Mataram. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dalam bentuk penelitian tindakan. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa-siswi sebanyak 37 orang. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 3 (tiga) siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi evaluasi, dan refleksi. Keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini tercapai apabila rata-rata skor aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran di kelas 4,00 (sangat memuaskan) dan sebagai tambahan skor aktivitas guru 4,00 (sangat memuaskan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I rata-rata 2,41 (kurang memuaskan). Sedangkan skor untuk kegiatan guru 3,00 (memuaskan). Siklus II diperoleh data aktivitas belajar siswa 3,01 ( memuaskan) sedangkan kegiatan guru 3,43 (memuaskan).pada siklus III menunjukkan peningkatan dibandingkan dengan siklus sebelumnya. Nilai rata-rata skor aktivitas belajar siswa 4,03 (sangat memuaskan) demikian juga untuk aktivitas guru 4,28 (sangat memuaskan). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think Pair Share) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA Biologi kelas VIII.5 SMPN 4 Mataram.Kata Kunci: TPS (Think Pair Share, Aktivitas Belajar.Abstract: This study aims to implement cooperative learning model TPS (Think Pair Share) to increase learning activities of student Class VIII.5 junior high school 4 Mataram. The study involved 37 students. The study was conducted in three (3) cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation  evaluation, and reflection.  The research success indicator showed when the average score of student activity during the learning process in the classroom is 4.00 and score activity of teacher is 4.00. The results show student learning activity in the first cycle an average of 2.41 while scores for teacher activity was 3.00. In the cycle II, students learning activity reached 3.01 while the teachers' activity was 3.43. In the third cycle showed an increase compared to the previous cycle. The average value of student learning activity score was 4.03  as well as for the activities of teachers was 4.28. The conclusion from this study is the implementation of cooperative learning model TPS (Think Pair Share) increase learning activities of student in science subjects biology class VIII.5 junior high school 4 Mataram.Keywords: TPS (Think Pair Share), Activity Learning
