The dynamics of changes taking place in the contemporary world increases the interest in leadership, which is one of the essential elements of their functioning for the organization, affecting the ability to achieve the goals with the extremely important role of the human capital, which due to the appropriate support and engagement of the leader determines the success of the organization. A contemporary leader, in order to meet the requirements of the complex environment of the organization and the expectations of employees, should be aware that he is unable to perform personally all organizational activities, he must rely on human capital. Leadership is inextricably linked with the broadly understood ability to influence employees, resulting in the effective performance of their assigned duties. That is why, leaders should have certain necessary qualities, constant self-improvement, and an appropriate background in the form of properly managed human capital. This article deals with the issue of leadership and its impact on the human capital of the organization. The attention is paid to theoretical framework regarding its essence and effectiveness, among which the distinguishing features of leaders, including the leader improvement are described. In the article it is also described the differences between management and leadership, as well as the leadership paradigms that differently emphasize the importance of employees and their engagement.

Conventional wisdom identifies human capital and organizational reputation as the critical resources explaining professional partnership (PP) performance. PPs have increasingly adopted organizational practices like strategic planning and formal governance, however, which have long been alien in highly professionalized contexts. In order to test the influence of both these classic resources and the newly adopted practices on PP performance, as well as the mediating mechanisms— that is, client attraction and retention as well as organizational efficiency—through which this influence is channeled, we develop an integrated theoretical framework of PP performance. We test the resulting hypotheses using survey and objective data collected on 196 Dutch law firms. Our findings provide new insights into the drivers of PP performance and the complex interrelationships between PP resources and newly adopted practices.

Co-operative identity is complex and consists of several, at times interrelated, aspects, which distinguish it from non-profit associations and from for-profit companies. Co-operatives are characterized by a specific purpose, and when a legal entity has a defining feature that relates to the objective pursued, the organizational law of that entity has to define its particular identity in light of that objective. Given this assumption, this chapter states the importance of co-operative law in stipulating the co-operative identity and preserving its distinguishing features. It therefore outlines the essential elements which characterize co-operative enterprises: the mutual purpose, co-operative transactions, co-operative activities with non-members, and the social function of co-operatives.

Modernity has its driving force in the capitalist system. No interpretation of modernity can disregard capitalism. Its infeasibility will be shown through a critical study of its essential elements: unlimited accumulation of capital/wealth, exploitation of human labor and the devastation of nature; as well as its theoretical framework (liberalism) and the role of the State. This approach will serve as the base for a theological reading of the infeasibility of capitalism.

A lot of research has been done in the field of cloud computing in computing domain.  For its effective performance, variety of algorithms has been proposed. The role of virtualization is significant and its performance is dependent on VM Migration and allocation. More of the energy is absorbed in cloud; therefore, the utilization of numerous algorithms is required for saving energy and efficiency enhancement in the proposed work. In the proposed work, green algorithm has been considered with meta heuristic algorithms, ABC (Artificial Bee colony .Every server has to perform different or same functions. A cloud computing infrastructure can be modelled as Primary Machineas a set of physical Servers/host PM1, PM2, PM3… PMn. The resources of cloud infrastructure can be used by the virtualization technology, which allows one to create several VMs on a physical server or host and therefore, lessens the hardware amount and enhances the resource utilization. The computing resource/node in cloud is used through the virtual machine. To address this problem, data centre resources have to be managed in resource -effective manner for driving Green Cloud computing that has been proposed in this work using Virtual machine concept with ABC and Neural Network optimization algorithm. The simulations have been carried out in CLOUDSIM environment and the parameters like SLA violations, Energy consumption and VM migrations along with their comparison with existing techniques will be performed.

Abstract Confidence is one of the most essential elements which no social or professional group can exist without. As feature of character it is required in someone’s private, social and professional life. In all our relationships we lose it due to telling lies. Lies accompany our personal life on all its stages. Already three-year old children tell lies to satisfy their parents, check whether they are able to realize they are deceived or to demonstrate their dominance over them. Teachers and ethicists differentiate between useful didactic lies and ruthless and cynical comments harmful to others. Because of emotional ties and close relationships, a family is the best environment where a child should be taught to despise lies and respect trust
