In this paper, an empirical study is conducted to explore the paths of internationalization for Chinese manufacturing firms. Correspondence analysis was employed to examine the relationship between the internationalization paths and the firms’ form of ownership. It reveals that the internationalization paths of Chinese firms appear to be in a form of terrace structure, more firms adopting the rudimentary levels than the more matured courses of internalization. The findings indicate that Chinese firms are characterized by the relatively low levels of internationalization. Also the preferred destinations of going internationalization were identified for firms adopting outward foreign direct investments. Santrauka Straipsnyje pateiktas empirinis tyrimas, atliktas siekiant išsiaiškinti internacionalizavimo būdus Kini‐jos gamybos imonese.

The increase in internet use in Sweden provides the country’s banking industry with an important commercial opportunity. High websites service quality (website SQ) and electronic satisfaction (e-satisfaction) are vital if the banks are to keep and guarantee their customers’ electronic loyalty (e-loyalty). The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence of the association between website SQ and e-satisfaction, and the impact of both on e-loyalty in Swedish banks. The author used the E-S-QUAL model to measure the four dimensions of website SQ: fulfilment, availability, efficiency and privacy. Questionnaires were sent to 450 customers, of which 213 were returned, either in-person or online. The results showed that website SQ and e-satisfaction have a strong positive correlation with e-loyalty. The relationship between website SQ and e-satisfaction should be continuously measured, and website processes reviewed in line with advances in ICT and changes in levels of e-loyalty. This study gives feedback to these banks on their website SQ, helping them avoid shortcomings and keep their customers satisfied and loyal. Customers with high levels of e-satisfaction have significantly higher levels of e-loyalty compared to those with low levels.

The authors explore an alternative way of analyzing the relationship between human development and individualism. The method is based on the first principal component of Hofstede's individualism index in the Human Development Index rating domain. Results suggest that the general idea that greater wealth brings more individualism is only true for countries with high levels of development, while for middle or low levels of development the inverse is true.

This study explores the association between task conflict and team creativity and the role of group cognitive complexity (GCC) as a potential explanatory mechanism in a sample of 159 students organized in 49 groups. Moreover, we analyzed the moderating effect of collective emotional intelligence (CEI)in the relationship between task conflict and GCC.As hypothesized, we found that task conflict has a nonlinear relationship with GCC, but contrary to our expectations, it follows a U-shaped association, not an inversed U-shape. In addition, the moderating role of CEI was significant only at low levels. Contrary to our expectation, the mediating role of GCC did not receive empirical support. Theoretical and practical contributions are discussed.
