Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is an important tool to improve the au-tonomous learning of students and the teaching effects of the courses. Focusing on the online teaching of college English courses, this paper proposes a simple design of blended English teaching mode for the requirements of MOOC plat-form. Using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) framework and the Java pro-gramming language, the author realized the database-related functions of the plat-form by SQL server database, designed the backend server on the Spring and Hibernate integrated frameworks, and developed the entire platform using the browser/server (B/S) structure. The platform test results show that the MOOC-based blended English teaching mode satisfies the teaching demands, achieves stable performance, and wins the recognition of most students. The research find-ings shed new light on the innovation of college English teaching.

The web-based collaborative teaching mode is the key to reforming the teaching mode and developing the teaching practice. To improve the traditional English teaching mode, this paper puts forward an innovative English teaching method for elementary, secondary and higher education based on the massive open online course (MOOC) and Google Collaboration platform. The research shows that it is possible for students to learn collaboratively under the guidance of teachers; the students can broaden their horizon by searching for more materials on the online collaboration platform, according to the objectives and themes laid down by the teachers; the proposed innovative English teaching method can improve the learning efficiency of the students, encourage them to participate in learning and collaboration, arouse their interest and enthusiasm in foreign language learning, and help them to gain insights into learning. The research findings provide technical support to the reform and innovation of English teaching mode, and lays a theoretical basis for deepening the reform of teaching methods in various disciplines.

The current college English online teaching mode is mainly based on the traditional online MOOC teaching, which has some problems such as poor interaction. Under the mixed background, this paper studies the online college English teaching model based on the Gaussian mutation genetic algorithm and neural network algorithm. Firstly, it briefly introduces the general situation of network English teaching and the hybrid application of the Gaussian mutation genetic algorithm. Through the investigation and test analysis of students before and after class, the experiment evaluates students’ network teaching quality in many aspects. On this basis, a better teaching quality evaluation model is proposed. Finally, the practical application shows that the model in this paper is very feasible. In the end, students have higher enthusiasm and seriousness in the hybrid context of college English online teaching based on the dual algorithm. English teaching quality can make use of each student’s test scores in English classroom. This paper realizes the overall teaching through real-time dynamic tracking. Quantitative indicators are used to sort the influence degree of English classroom teaching indicators, which can effectively evaluate the quality of English classroom teaching.

Objectives: There are inherent defects in college English teaching. In addition, it is inconsistent with the characteristics of college English, and students and teachers have not received enough attention in the application, resulting in inevitable congenital deficiencies in college English teaching. Methods: Therefore, from the perspective of sociology, the author studies the mode and approach of English online teaching in colleges and universities. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the current college English network teaching, and puts forward some corresponding suggestions. Results: Economic and trade practice research shows that under the networked teaching mode of college English, students gradually change from the passive recipients of knowledge to the active learners, effectively establishing the student’s self-learning subject status, and the students’ English scores are also constantly improving. Conclusion: It is an inevitable development to use the network technology to reform the traditional mode of college English majors..

Cloud computing is a new platform for Contemporary College Students' English education. It is based on the construction of theory, cooperative learning and learning community, and is of great help to improve the quality of College Students' English teaching. This paper analyzes and discusses the College English teaching model based on cloud computing. The ecological teaching mode based on cloud computing platform combines cloud computing with ecological teaching concept, which can help teachers abandon the traditional filling teaching mode. The platform can support autonomous learning and meet the requirements of students' personality development. The experimental results show that cloud computing has good openness and sharing. Through cloud computing, the "co construction, sharing and sharing" of high-quality teaching resources can be realized. This method can achieve the balance of educational resources and inject new vitality into the traditional means of College English teaching.

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is a new online education model that provides new opportunities and challenges for the development and reform of teaching in colleges and universities. This paper first builds a MOOC-based model of influencing factors of blended learning adaptability. Through investigation and research, it is found that the six influencing factors all have different ways and different degrees of influence on learning adaptability. Among them, learning motivation has a direct and significant impact on learning adaptability, and learning self-efficacy not only has a direct and significant impact on learning adaptability but also has an indirect impact on learning adaptability through learning motivation. Teacher teaching has indirect effects on learning adaptability through learning self-efficacy, learning motivation, and learning support. Learning support not only has a direct and significant impact on learning adaptability but also has an indirect impact on learning adaptability through learning motivation. MOOC platform has a direct and significant impact on learning adaptability. The quality of course content has a direct and significant impact on learning adaptability through the MOOC platform and learning motivation. The creative results of this research are mainly embodied in the combination of theory and practice, exploring and forming related results based on MOOC-based college students’ learning adaptability. According to the MOOC-based learning-adaptive intervention model, teaching practice is carried out to verify the effect of the intervention model from two aspects of student procedural performance and result performance. Finally, in view of the problems existing in traditional computer teaching in colleges and universities, combined with the design ideas and basic characteristics of MOOC, the teaching mode reform of computer courses is analyzed and discussed, and a MOOC-based computer engineering education teaching mode is proposed.

In this article, the authors provide a new approach to massive open online course: project based case learning. Although there are many online teaching websites, such as Coursera and Edx, most of the courses are video based. That is, students learn knowledge through watching lecture videos. This method may apply to theoretical subjects, but for engineering courses—since they have strong practical background—watching videos is not an effective way for these courses. In order to solve this problem, the authors offer this new approach: that is, students learn knowledge by playing as different roles and doing and concluding different tasks themselves. And all tasks form a whole project. This project based case learning method uses “learning-by-doing” as a central theme and E-learning as a carrier. Compared with video based learning, this new method is a combination of theory and practical operation that enable the students to master the knowledge in engineering subjects more thoroughly and profoundly.

The development of new educational technology and educational concepts has made Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) and other teaching methods deeply applied in the field of online education. In order to improve the initiative and practical ability of English learners, and promote the cognitive ability of English learners, the MOOC elements were introduced in English teaching, an efficient MOOC English teaching platform was constructed, and the MOOC-based English teaching model was analyzed. The results show that the teaching model obtained from this study can not only take advantage of MOOC’s advantages, but also avoid the defects of delayed feedback and low completion rate. In addition, the effective peer evaluation method can significantly improve English teaching.
