The continuing erosion of citizen trust and confidence in government has been attributed to a number of factors. This chapter examines the potential role of digital transformation of government in reversing this decline. Based on a systematic literature review, key factors that influence citizen trust and confidence in government as an institution are identified, including citizen satisfaction and expectations, government transparency and accountability, transformation of government, and government performance. The review of the literature also reveals a lack of knowledge and understanding of how transformation of government can influence the growing decline in citizen engagement with government. To address this gap, a conceptual model capturing the key constructs is proposed to support a better understanding of strategies for rebuilding trust and confidence in government administrations through transformation of government.

Over the years, there has been an erosion of citizens' trust and confidence in their governments behind which, lies many reasons. This paper examines how digital transformation of government may play an important role in improving this eroding trust and confidence. Using a systematic literature review, the paper identifies factors that influence citizens' trust and confidence in government as an institution. Among the key factors that are commonly identified across the literature are citizens' satisfaction and expectations, transparency, accountability, digital transformation of government and performance of the government. The literature also points towards a lack of knowledge and understanding in the community of how transformation of government can influence the growing decline in citizens' engagement with government. To this effect, an initial conceptual model is proposed which captures the key constructs that may lead to better understanding of how to rebuild trust and confidence in government administrations through the digital transformation of government.

Summary The article aims to analyze the current literature (conceptual and research articles) in the field of relations between the symbolic activities of the organization and the ability to acquire resources and their efficient exploitation, and an attempt to build a conceptual model on this basis. This goal was achieved by applying a systematic literature review. The analysis was based on literature, both conceptual and research. Types of resources purchased by stakeholders were indicated. The study presents a conceptual model describing the role of symbolic activities in the process of resource acquisition and management. The concept of symbolic obligations was presented as a consequence of actions taken by organizations.

This research aims to formulate a conceptual model of farmers' social movement based on previous studies, which failed to explain this concept. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with a mixture of qualitative and quantitative approaches was used to conduct this research. Data were obtained from 289 articles sourced from the Scopus Database, with the VOSVIEWER and NVIVO 12 software used to determine the conceptual model. The analysis results showed that this study is associated with farmers’ issues, agricultural governance, agricultural systems, and the collaboration of stakeholders in managing agricultural production. These perspectives are used to explain the concepts, topics, and issues of the farmer's social movement, including the role of actors, dynamics of conflict, challenges, and struggles of the movement, processes, conservation, sustainable environment, cooperation, the collaboration of stakeholders, as well as production and marketing of agricultural products. This conceptual model contributes to the development of farmers' social movement studies oriented towards concept development and disclosing issues in the field.

A review of the literature on the stages of the formation of temporary and permanent occlusion has been performed. This stages play an important role not only for the full development of the maxillofacial apparatus, temporomandibular joint, but also the whole organism. The role of early tooth extraction in the formation of the physiological state of the dentoalveolar system is considered. The conclusion is drawn about the need for a deeper study of this problem in the structure of general dental morbidity.

Public sector organizations, primarily higher education institutions (HEIs), are facing greater levels of responsibility since adopting and committing to the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development (SD) and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). HEIs are expected to provide guidance for various stakeholders on this matter, but also to implement this agenda and the SDGs in their institutions. Although the role of these organizations has been recognized, the fields and issues that HEIs should address on their path towards sustainability and SD are still unclear. To provide further clarity, a semi-systematic literature review on sustainability and SD in HEIs was conducted to identify both the key concepts and main research themes that represent sustainability and SD in HEIs and to identify research gaps. This review increases our knowledge of this topic and enhances our understanding of sustainability and SD in the context of HEIs.

Abstract Objectives Previous studies have shown that psychological stress and mental health problems increase the risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) events, such as heart attack or stroke. Furthermore, after CVD events, the majority of patients report large stress. However, psychological treatments have only modest effects in CVD patients. Therefore, it has been argued that new conceptual models are needed to understand the aetiology of stress and mental health problems in CVD patients. Therefore, this study included a systematic literature review and a conceptual model on the role of meaning in life for psychological stress, mental health, and CVD risks. Methods A systematic literature review was conducted on relationships between CVD and meaning in life. PRISMA/MOOSE review guidelines were followed. These findings were used to build a conceptual model. Results The literature review included 113 studies on meaning and CVD. The included studies described meaning as a predictor of cardiovascular risks and health, meaning-centered needs of patients in conversations with medical staff, meaning-centered changes after CVD events, meaning-centered coping with CVD, meaning as motivator of CVD-related lifestyle changes, and meaning as an element in psychological treatments of CVD patients. In sum, the literature showed that a central clinical concern for patients is their question how to live a meaningful life despite CVD. Meaning-centered concerns seem to lead to lower motivation to make lifestyle changes, more psychological stress, lower quality-of-life, worse physical well-being, and increased CVD risk. The ability to live a meaningful life after CVD events is related with lower stress, better mental health, and several biomarkers. Significance of results An evidence-based conceptual framework was developed for the relationship between meaning and CVD. It may be hypothesized CVD patients may benefit from psychological therapies focused on meaning.
