The aim of this study is to critically analyze the implications in terms of the relationship between cooperation, conflict, and institutional capital, as well as their interactions with trade marketing and environmentally sustainable development policy making under the framework of NAFTA. The methodology is based on a literature review aimed to create a relationship between the analytical variables in order to obtain a research construct. This research model is used to critically analyze the implications in terms of cooperation and conflict relationships as institutional capital and their interactions with trade marketing and environmentally sustainable development policy making. It is concluded that, although the existence of NAFTA is severely questioned, its institutional capital has positive effects on the implications of trade-marketing; however, environmentally sustainable development proves to be conflictive and highly contentious, although some positive effects are developing.

Analyzed about the present situation of energy logistics service quality, and combined with related literature at home and abroad, select “energy logistics tracking information timeliness”, “accuracy of energy logistics tracking information”, ”energy delivery time accuracy”, “energy distribution accuracy “, “energy integrity “, “error handling” six elements as a measure factors of the energy logistics service quality, establish research model. Through questionnaire investigation and quantitative analysis verify this research model. The Conclusions: energy distribution of accuracy have significant positive effects on sustainable development, and influence degree; Energy delivery time accuracy, integrity have significant positive effects on sustainable development, but the impact is relatively small; While energy logistics tracking information timeliness, accuracy and error of energy logistics tracking information treatment had no significant influence to the sustainable development of economy and society. Energy logistics is an important part of the logistics industry, also is an important support of economic society and people's life. Improve the quality of energy logistics service, to play an important role in promoting sustainable development.

This chapter situates the INTERSECTION programme of research within wider international debates regarding the relationship between consumption and climate change. It explores how this relationship is addressed in arguments for environmental justice and sustainable development, and how it is reflected in international policy-making. This discussion highlights how climate change is typically cast as both an international and intergenerational injustice, or the convergence of a ‘global storm’ and an ‘intergenerational storm’. This chapter also situates the original contribution of the book within recent social science scholarship that explores how people live with a changing climate, advocating a ‘human sense’ of climate and social change, and outlines the main themes of the subsequent empirical chapters.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explain a possible relationship between the country brand and internationalization topics, searching in the literature the possible connections between them. Design/methodology/approach An integrative literature review of the past 15 years of research (2003–2017) was acquired using the well-known databases Web of Science and Scopus. Findings Studies linking country brand and internationalization are new, often quantitative, descriptive and focused on emerging markets. In terms of content, it was shown first that a country brand, when well-managed, is not only essential to attract foreign direct investment into the country, but it can also help the outflows of investments. Referring specifically to outflows of foreign investment, internationalization affects the country brand, generating positive attitudes toward the brand in international markets. However, it is also affected by the country brand because the country image influences the entry modes of business and the country of origin affects the performance of multinationals abroad. Research limitations/implications With the strengths and deficiencies of a body of literature exposed in this paper, a better understanding of the topic through synthesis can be provided. Practical implications Findings show that internationalization can influence country brand and country image. The internationalization process might positively affect the attitude toward a place brand. In terms of country image, when a company rebranding is entering international markets, it can integrate the brand of its products with the country brand and its image, generating positive effects in relation to brand in the new market. However, this relationship is not clear and should be explored by new studies. Originality/value This paper contributes both to the literature through an overview of the relationship between the two topics and a research agenda for future studies; and to governments and companies by providing information that enables them to become more competitive in the international market.

Sustainability and digitalization are two of the most powerful phenomena of recent times. The phenomena of digitalization and sustainable development are each separately massively explored, but their intersection is subject only to a few of undertaken researches. The paper aims to expand existing sustainability research by incorporating the current digital environment. In particular, the paper explores the relationship between sustainability and digitalization and maps the potential of digitalization benefits for sustainability issue of companies on the base of conducted literature review and content analysis of published researches in this field. As the results shown, digitalization brings new opportunities and challenges in the management of organizations, as well as the fulfilment of their sustainability strategy. It is time to rethink the concept of sustainability and update it in the light of the development of digitalization. Digitalization is becoming an essential part of business.

This study aims to examine more deeply the relationship between sustainable development and community based tourism. This study uses a systematic literature review method, articles taken from the publications of various publishers using the SCOPUS database and given restrictions on the year of publication from 2019 to 2021. The results of this study indicate that CBT is one of the most important approaches in realizing sustainable development. CBT has a very close relationship with sustainable development, where CBT is considered a very effective strategy for realizing sustainable development, because CBT focuses on local communities where local people play an active role as the owner of the resource as well as the main actor in the development of their natural resources. . So in this CBT concept, the community is empowered to develop their skills, culture, and natural potential without destroying it at all, because one of the indicators of the success of sustainable development is environmental preservation. The limitation in this study is that the researcher only focuses on the relationship between sustainable development and CBT and has not discussed the relationship between sustainable development and other indicators and in this study the researcher only used a limited number of previous studies, namely only 266 articles. So that the suggestion for future researchers who are interested in researching sustainable development is to study the relationship of sustainable development with other indicators and to use more previous research so that it can be generalized in a broader discussion.

To achieve a sustainable development, all related levels and sectors of policy making need to be in line with environmental considerations. Iskandar Malaysia, the second significant regional economic project of Malaysia, in an effort to be recognized as an international standing sustainable development, has formulated its policies in the form of 32 blueprints. Each of these documents targets a specific development aspect. Out of these blueprints, Environmental Planning Blueprint (EPB) aims at ensuring that all aspects of development are environmentally sustainable. This study tried to figure out if other blueprints are in line with principles and guidelines of EPB. Therefore, we selected Livable Neighborhood and Design Guidelines Blueprint (LNDGB) as a sample and assessed its horizontal policy coherence with EPB. Content analysis used as the main method of the assessment. Results showed that LNDGB mostly was coherent with policies of EPB and no serious contradiction found between them. However, LNDGB did not cover all features determined by EPB.

Creating a vital and lively urban environment is an inherent requirement of urban sustainable development, and understanding urban vibrancy is helpful for urban development policy making. The urban vibrancy theory needs more empirical supplementation and more evidence for the effect of the built environment on urban vibrancy. We use multisource urban spatial information data, including real-time population distribution (RPD) data and small catering business (SCB) data; quantitatively measure urban vibrancy; and build a comparative framework to explore the effect of the built environment on the urban vibrancy of a northwestern emerging city in China. The results demonstrate that the two urban vibrancy metrics present a spatial distribution pattern that is high in the south and low in the north areas of the city with significant spatial aggregation. Land-use intensity and diversity have strong positive effects on urban vibrancy but present a different pattern of effects on the two vibrancy measures. The influences on urban vibrancy of distance to the district center and distance to the nearest commercial complex are spatially complementary in the study area, and the effect of accessibility factors is weak. Our findings suggest that a somewhat cautious approach is required in the application of these classical planning theories to Urumqi.
