This paper proposes a context-aware museum-guide system, which is able to present information on exhibits in accordance with visitor needs. Other features of the system include planning and directing a visit as well as providing locations, facilities and additional services. The architecture is designed based on the attribute-driven design method. It consists of two components including mobile and server components. The server component is located in the cloud and is regarded as the backup for the mobile component. The software architecture analysis method is employed to evaluate the proposed architecture. To this end, some scenarios have been codified for system functionalities by consulting museum experts. The proposed architecture satisfies the scenarios by resolving the issues arisen in each one. The CIF-based questionnaire method indicates a high usability score for the proposed system. Finally, comparison of the capabilities of the proposed system with related research reveals that it benefits from a comprehensive design.

Widespread use of numerous hand-held smart devices has opened new avenues in computing. Internet of things (IoT) is the next big thing resulting in the 4th industrial revolution. Coupling IoT with data collection, storage, and processing leads to Internet of everything (IoE). This work outlines the concept of smart device and presents an IoE ecosystem. Characteristics of IoE ecosystem with a review of contemporary research is also presented. A comparison table contains the research finding. To realize IoE, an object-oriented context aware model is presented. This model is based on Unified Modelling Language (UML). A case study of a museum guide system is outlined that discusses how IoE can be implemented. The contribution of this chapter includes review of contemporary IoE systems, a detailed comparison, a context aware IoE model, and a case study to review the concepts.

The lecture support system in Higher Education has information about student identity in each system, such as profile photos, names, NIM (Student Registration Number) and according to system requirements. An assessment on the public viewboard is an Online Assessment System aimed at improving services at Raharja University. However, in the multiplication flow system still has 3 disadvantages, namely, students do not yet have the facility to see the allocation value between friends in one class in one course to be able to improve the results of lecture grades with classmates and also between classes. In class design Popular writers also do five methods, namely the method of analysis, method of literature review, observation method, design method, and then implemented. With the existence of this study, there are 3 Benefits, namely, students can see the value determined by classmates, can improve the value, and lecturers can ensure the value given must be recognized by students.

The research objective was to see the strategy for developing mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City with a SWOT analysis. The data collection used was a questionnaire method with a list of questions to the respondents. The analysis method used is a SWOT analysis to see internal factors and external factors, which will then be entered into the SWOT matrix. The research results obtained from the analysis of internal factors and external factors. The result of the internal factor is a strength (strength) of 2.75 while the weakness (weakness) is 1.46, so the value of the internal factor is 2.75-1.46 = 1.29 while from the external factor the opportunity (opportunity) is 2 , 52 and for the threat (threat) is 1.58, the value of the external factor is 2.52-1.58 = 0.94. Based on the analysis diagram, the SWOT strategy is in the Cell (quadrant) I position. This shows that the SO strategy in the SWOT matrix is an aggressive strategy. This strategy explains that Kampung Sejahtera mangrove tourism can take advantage of the surrounding environment. The environment around mangrove tourism is still natural so that it is very likely for the community to add stages such as trading, opening food stalls, and lodging businesses around the mangrove tourism of Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, and Utilizing mangrove forests so as not to abrasion around mangrove tourism Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, which makes the tourist area safe and tourists who visit are comfortable and not worried about abrasion

A design method of one cultural product based on the meme of artifacts was constructed and applied to the development and design of cultural products. Firstly, the paper puts forward that the outer “tangible” level of the “spatial perspective” of culture corresponds to the dominant meme, as well as the mid “behavioral” level and Inner “intangible” level correspond to the hidden meme according to the theories of meme and the “spatial perspective” of culture. What’s more, the meme was extracted according to the appearance of Liao dynasty ceramics and related research literature. Secondly, based on the extracted meme of Liao dynasty ceramics, the design method of cultural products was constructed by applying the theoretical framework two orders of the signification of Roland Barthes Semiotics to explore the extended cultural meaning of meme and apply its translation to the design of cultural products. The design method of cultural products constructed by this Institute is more inclusive of the intrinsic level of artifacts than that in the past, which only created cultural products that focus on the physical representation of the visual elements. It is an attempt to provide designers of cultural products and students with design background with a design method of cultural products for reference.

There are many ways to present information to visitors and users of 2D and 3D interface environments. In these virtual environments we can provide visitors with simulations of real environments, including simulations of presenters in such environments (a lecturer, a sales agent, a receptionist, a museum guide) and including audience participation in these environments. Our research aims at generating presentations from available multimedia information. In particular, we would like to see the generation of presentations by embodied conversational agents that employ verbal and nonverbal capabilities. In the past we have seen the introduction of embodied agents and robots that take the role of a museum guide, a news presenter, a teacher, a receptionist, or someone who is trying to sell insurance, houses or tickets. In all these cases the embodied agent needs to explain and to describe. The automatic generation of presentations and presentation agents from information sources is still too ambitious a task. Therefore we look at research from the perspective of the design of tools that can support presenters or can help to provide natural access to presentations and lectures. Can we use a given collection of sheets and maybe other accessible media sources to design, create and generate an embodied presenter? Among others we discuss manual annotation of available information and the way in which presenter agents can use it. Clearly, the development of tools for these purposes is a first step towards automating the generation of presentations and presentation agents.
