The paper deals with optimization of the production process in a selected company. The proposal of elimination of bottlenecks that were revealed in the analysis of the production process is described here in this paper. For clarity and zooming of the production process models were processed in a simulation software module from Siemens PLM Software - Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. Improvement suggestions will help to reduce the time of production operations, to improve product quality, to facilitate the work of the staff and to increase economic efficiency of production. The application of PLM software enables companies to analyze and easily develop manufacturing processes in the future, or to build new processing lines and departments [4]. It will help to optimize the current state of workplace and will allow easier data management throughout the life cycle, not just within this particular company, but throughout the corporation to which the enterprise belongs.

The paper deals with application of simulation software for optimizing lines dealing with the manufacture of doors a car. The introduction is described briefly compare advantage and disadvantages of applying simulation in different processes [2]. It also includes a brief description of the manufacturing process of a car doors. Based on the results of simulation software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation evaluates two potential variants of optimization [10].

The contribution is focused on the production line, which covers assembly in assemblies in the automotive industry. This process consists of several assembly stations. The paper contains a brief description of production positions. The production process was analysed, and a snapshot of work activities was created. We created a simulation using the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software tool. To increase efficiency, we also use the Hoshin method, which is commonly used in industrial enterprises. Hoshin Kanri is used as a system management tool to develop an annual tactic to implement in all departments and functions within the company. It is for organisations looking for ways to create an effective plan for the future. It is a composition of tools and principles that we can say are helpful in a set of change management and planning systems.

The constant changes in the world generate demands for improvements in processes, either by reducing costs or increasing capacity. One of the most used methods today for process optimization is Discrete Simulation. This research presents a discrete simulation application, using the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software to simulate a production line in the Manaus Industrial Pole. Mathematical modeling made it possible to understand the parameters involved in the production process and worked as a guide for the production line's composition in the Plant Simulation environment. The production line modeled in Plant Simulation used real input data obtained in two months of production in 2020. The results obtained showed that the modeling reached the objective of virtualizing the production process, once that the differences between the simulation and the real process were at most 1.07%.

The presented article deals with the issue of solving bottlenecks in the logistics flow of a manufacturing company. The Tx Plant Simulation software tool is used to detect bottlenecks and deficiencies in the company’s production, logistics and transportation systems. Together with the use of simulation methods and lean manufacturing tools, losses in business processes are eliminated and consequently flow throughput is improved. In the TX Plant Simulation software environment, using Bottleneck analyzer, bottlenecks were defined on the created simulation model and a method of optimizing logistics flows was designed and tested by introducing the Kanban pull system. This resulted in an improvement and throughput of the entire logistics flow, a reduction in inter-operational stocks and an increase in the efficiency of the production system as a whole.

Tolerance information plays a critical role in many steps of the product life cycle. It is especially important due to the advances in Internet technologies and increasing integration requirements from industry. In this paper, geometric tolerances information in manufacturing process (IMP) is studied, and the layered conformance level of geometric tolerances is established according to ASME Y14.5-1994, STEP and DMIS. An EXPRESS-G data model of geometric tolerance information in IMP is established. The XML language is used to represent and program the geometric tolerances information in IMP.
